Good on Jeff Stelling bringing up Readings plight. As a Brighton fan know what they are going through. Keep fighting your cause Reading fans, because as Brighton fans we are with you.
Good on Jeff, and TS in general for the coverage. This keeps happening to clubs with little light being shone on it by the national media. Stelling is spot on as well. We don't want to be doing this but we see no other choice.
Leyton Orient’s fight have been forgotten ! Rescued by the Fans Action !! Would Not in operation if the Fans hadn’t invaded and caused the games to be stopped !!! Italian Mafia thrown out and the Cub rescued by a Devoted Fan❤️❤️❤️ & Darts Matt Porter ❤️❤️. Keep going Reading & Fight till the bitter End game !!
Eh? How the hell did Readings owner pass a fit and proper text when he's had clubs disappear in his watch in Belgium and China as a football community Reading need our support
Its disgraceful what these owners can do with our beloved football club's. Its a disposable asset for them unlike us who invest thousands of pounds and hours into following them. Hope reading get this sorted 🙏. Best wishes from a Burnley fan
I'm with reading fans the fans are the most important part of any football club no matter what the owners and Simon Jordan say the EFL need to step in and do more in these situations The EFL are the reason Bury and Macclesfield went out of business because they didn't step in sooner
Well said jeff . If the situation was fair on the fans and players, there wouldn't be a pitch invasion . Well done, those fans. They are fighting for their club . Solidarity from ireland. This also illustrates why I have become dissolutioned with the game I used to love.
It was bad enough when it was clubs in the North West (where we experience high levels of deprivation and where people gravitate towards the Manchester clubs to support as opposed to Bolton, Wigan, Bury, Macclesfield, Oldham, Rochdale or Salford). A club in Berkshire though? Goes to show no club is safe.
As a Carlisle fan I was gutted when Bury went. Fans have rivalries. however when it comes to things like Readings situation all fans come together. We just cannot have another club go into liquidation.
They will go bankrupt if nothing gets done! I live in Reading. I support both Reading F.C and Liverpool. Dai Yongge already made up his mind the second he got his hands on Reading F.C and that was to absolutely destroy the club.Lock him up for life! 😡😡😡
all the fans of certain other premier league clubs whining to get there owners out you ain’t got it that bad look at reading there looking at liquidation
The pitch invasion was correct, as i never knew what was going on at Reading... now I do! So half of you can shut up moaning now. What else can fans do? There're about to go out of.buisness and some people moaning about being fined for breaking laws?! Give me a break!!!
If the Reading owner can leave their club in such a mess, then there’s no reason to complain about fans invading the pitch regardless of legality! LEAVE FAST DAI YONGGE
“They don’t care about the laws, they care about doing what they want to do” fixed it for you Jeff. There’s laws I don’t like but I can’t invade my way to changing them. Or can I?
At Pompey, who I support we've also had problems in the past with some dodgy owners and all because due diligence wasn't carried out properly. Thankfully we've now got some excellent owners but clubs should learn from these experiences and 'beware of Greeks bearing gifts'
Wow. Was It really that long ago reading was relegated. Just over ten years ago.. I didn't think it was that long ago.. They were a decent side reading in the prem.. I'm in shock though with this current owner or owners. That disgusting. Not even paying the catering girls 😲 Microwave meals 😲 Wow.. Keep up the charge reading fans were right behind you. YNWA.!
The football pyramid is why our football culture is so wonderful, the idea of a club the size of Reading with their history being under threat is horrible and all true fans back their supporters in their fight.
Stop mentioning efl support. The efl have already ruled that the owner should be banned from football and the powers that be ruled against them. An independent regulator will change nothing… we already know what needs to be done, the efl just dont have the power to get rid
while its disgraceful what the owner has done to Reading and the fans have had enough and props to them for standing up, but at the same time, what about the Port Vale fans that traveled to the game only to see it abandoned? im not against protests, but to storm the pitch and throw objects on the pitch is childish. Are the Reading fans going to reimburse the Port Vale fans that traveled?
The supported us from the stands, and our fans in return have contributed thousands of pounds to their gofundme campaign for a statue of John Rudge as a statement of gratitude.
The PV fans were absolute class to be fair, I'm sure there's a few of them who were pissed off and rightfully so but the vast majority were super supportive, applauding and joining us in chanting against the regime. After all they've been through trouble themselves. We're donating back to their cause as well.
Vale fan here,we've had our fair share of troubles,we just dont know whats around the corner,it was a bit unfair what you did sat, with regards of supporters travelling to yours for ten mins of footy, thats something we have never done,,but eh its got your point of view NOTICED NOW,,so good luck, and please duna do it again on us with the replay lol,oh and a BIG THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORTERS CONTRIBUTION👍
More selfishness from members of the British public. Cry, cry, and cry some more - FINE. But when it affects others, such as the traveling away fans, then you're a selfish, horrible individual. Don't mess with other people. Don't share your problems with others who aren't willing participants. Don't assume that your problem is someone else's problem. Don't think that anyone or anything owes you anything.
I'm a Pompey fan and I know exactly how it feels to have clown owners running the club that just don't have a care about what the club means to the fans. I remember how we came so close to liquidation ourselves in the past, there were numerous protests from fans outside the stadium, some even on matchdays before a game. I applaud Reading fans for protesting and showing their anger at owners who just seem to think it's fine to come into a football club and treat it like it's some toy to play with, but what they did is not the right way to do it. Pompey fans didn't invade the pitch and cause disruptions like they did. By all means protest and show how much your club means outside the ground before or maybe even after the game. But you can't just go invading the pitch and cause disruption like that. There's a right and wrong way is all I'm saying. Keep fighting for your club Reading fans, I know what you're going through and you deserve a lot better, just do it the right way guys.
It wasn’t right thing to do, Pompey never did it, Luton never did it, Leeds never did it, Sheffield Wednesday never did it, Reading fans have been notorious for bad tasted songs when other clubs have faced similar issue, example Pay up Pompey Pompey Pay up with fake pound notes and yet are disrespecting football now by abandoning games or throwing tennis balls on pitch putting game and league one into disrepute.

indeed, so many clubs have been subjected to these rapacious investors I forgot about Orient. Fans lead the way.

Jeff is a fantastic broadcaster
He actually isn’t. I find him annoying.
I'm a boro fan, I stand behind reading, they are part of our football family
Well done Reading supporters, the owner should be sanctioned & forced too sell the club !

I'm a Birmingham fan......your owner was abit like our old Chinese owners.....get them out absolute awful ....

If they don't care about the points give the 3points to Port vale why should they have to travel to Reading again when the same thing could happen..

we supported their protests inside the ground. look at the video ive posted as this shows the support
FGR and Troy Deeney deserve each other.
How about the Port Vale fans. Travelled down at their own cost and didn't see a game. They need to find another way without affecting other teams.

If this happened when he was at sky. Not a peep would be said
Is stelling going to pay the fine for breaching FA rules??
Why would he?
Dai Yongge? Not Reading's way. Dai Old.
EFEellas 😂😂😂😂😂great name
Reading fans I feel for you no fan should suffer like this
have a look what us birmingham fans had to put up with......our owners got arrested
So ok to invade the pitch now thought that was illegal and face jail ?
Wake up to reality fella
Something Manchester United fans can't do but all they do is talk the talk 😂😂😂
talkSport advocating pitch invasions, if someone gets seriously hurt?, disgraceful
Hurt by a tennis ball? Have a day off

How do you get hurt walking about on grass? That pesky dangerous grass!😂😂😂

fit and proper test ffffffffffffffff joke

Reading are at their level, before madjeski they were league one fodder
This is what happens when a football club goes woke. Reading should have stayed apolitical
I'm pretty sure that's not why the fans are protesting
What an idiotic thing to say
@@barrywalls7175 this guy probably calls his kids woke when they wont eat their dinner 😅
So anything you don’t like is woke. Gotcha
I'm going to think that you mean they woke up that day and went to the game to protest against the owners for being twats 🤔🙄
Ignorance from Stelling. The mentality and response of an immature child. TalkSPORT encouraging pitch invasions.
It's a peaceful protest. Cry more
Can’t stand Jeff Stelling on the radio, his fake over exuberance is annoying
Unbelievable Jeff that you say something this stupid
I'm sorry but if this happens again then they should be made to play home games without their fans for an indefinite period.
Apology accepted. Awful take.
It's never okay to invade a pitch. Doesn't matter what the circumstances are.
Even if a bomb was going off on one of the stands and there was no where else to evacuate? 🤷🏻♂️
