It was bad enough when it was clubs in the North West (where we experience high levels of deprivation and where people gravitate towards the Manchester clubs to support as opposed to Bolton, Wigan, Bury, Macclesfield, Oldham, Rochdale or Salford). A club in Berkshire though? Goes to show no club is safe.

Are the Reading fans going to reimburse the Port Vale fans that traveled?

More selfishness from members of the British public. Cry, cry, and cry some more - FINE. But when it affects others, such as the traveling away fans, then you're a selfish, horrible individual.
Don't mess with other people. Don't share your problems with others who aren't willing participants. Don't assume that your problem is someone else's problem. Don't think that anyone or anything owes you anything.

I'm a Pompey fan and I know exactly how it feels to have clown owners running the club that just don't have a care about what the club means to the fans. I remember how we came so close to liquidation ourselves in the past, there were numerous protests from fans outside the stadium, some even on matchdays before a game. I applaud Reading fans for protesting and showing their anger at owners who just seem to think it's fine to come into a football club and treat it like it's some toy to play with, but what they did is not the right way to do it. Pompey fans didn't invade the pitch and cause disruptions like they did. By all means protest and show how much your club means outside the ground before or maybe even after the game. But you can't just go invading the pitch and cause disruption like that. There's a right and wrong way is all I'm saying. Keep fighting for your club Reading fans, I know what you're going through and you deserve a lot better, just do it the right way guys.

It wasn’t right thing to do, Pompey never did it, Luton never did it, Leeds never did it, Sheffield Wednesday never did it, Reading fans have been notorious for bad tasted songs when other clubs have faced similar issue, example Pay up Pompey Pompey Pay up with fake pound notes and yet are disrespecting football now by abandoning games or throwing tennis balls on pitch putting game and league one into disrepute.
