I just had my first experience with an Armada product yesterday - a Pro-600 I think. What a great tool! It sure beat digging up my yard. I'm just a homeowner but I need one of these!!!
Copper would work, in order to track a metal pipe you would need something like our Pro65 or some fish tape to put into the pipe and ground it on both ends. You could then hook your locator up to that and track from there.

Another great innovation from the best source for irrigation trouble shooting equipment!
This is a great addition. Are there any plans to add it to the 800 or 900?
The Pro900 already has it. Pro800D? Maybe. :)
Can be used for track metal pipes?

What is trouble shooting?
Looking for faults in the cabling. Cuts, shorts, etc.
