Just purchased a 10 ml of this unique and lush scent called African Rooibos, and this is super unisex. Chris knocked it out of the box on this one. Thanks for the review.
I just got African Rooibos and I love this. I have always wanted a tea scent and love this one for filling that niche. Feel like I started with the best. I love that earthy spice and then that clean mouth watering aspect like you mentioned. I agree 10/10! Wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Great list Justin! s/o to Chris Collins fragrances. I haven't tried that one and I will, but I just got my Vide Cor Meum and I'm floored by this fragrance. Now one of my fav rose fragrances
I always love your reviews Justin...will be blind buying Chris Collins' Sweet Rooibos. You have been so high on this house and I have purchased two other blind fragrances that I have loved based on your reviews!
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, this is why this is my favourite youtube Channel, always bringing new and different fragrances that are incredibly intriguing :)
I saw African Rooibos and had to click and like. I agree about it's perfection BUT if you layer it on top of your favorite spicy vanilla (I know layering isn't your thing but trust me)? It's even more perfect. As for Day Three Fragrances? I'll tell people to get their discovery set and snap up bottles before they really blow up. Say Less is my second favorite iris frag. Bani is a fantastic not-too-sweet mango frag. I haven't tried the new Filosofia yet but I will soon. Thanks for the vid!
That whole line from Guerlain (Absolu d'Orient) is absolutely stellar. I need to look into Chris Collins, it's a house I'm not familiar with. Fantastic left field selections as always.
Honestly, 2nd Soul is one of my 10/10 discoveries this year. I had to grab a second bottle. Well, you mentioned L’Humaniste and just had to order a sample of African Rooibos. L’Humaniste is one of my favorites in my collection. Freaking love your channel ❤

Wooooo! Day 3 fragrances is wowing me right now. I ordered the discovery set. All have impressed me. Not one disappointed me yet. So far Filosphia, Del Mar and Ambar Dominicano so far are the best to me.
Always great when you promote new niche / indie houses. Putting them on the spotlight with a fragrance included in your list helps their exposure even if its not the same fragrance from your list that we end up buying or showing interest in. Field notes from Paris is really good especially for those who dont like ashy or smoky scents. However, may i ask if youd call it a tobacco-centric scent? :)
Thank you Edgardo. I don’t know if I’d call it tobacco-centric. I believe it uses tobacco blossom, but not necessarily the leaf. I don’t get anything smoky, ashy, earthy, or overtly dark about it. But I definitely detect a warmth as it dries.
I love Alghabra fragrances. Labyrinth of Spices, Istanbul's Soul, and Ancient Fortress (one of the most unique DNAs I've encountered in years) are all great. I'm also a big fan of Chris Collins and have a decant of African Rooibos on the way. I like how his most of his scents are very approachable and easy to wear, while still being interesting. He really walks that line between niche and designer.
Fantastic list! I own all but two and can attest to the quality and uniqueness of your recommendations. I especially love the Adamo. The whole line is amazing. Have a wonderful Christmas my friend.
Ah, thank you for putting Aqualis back on my radar. It was the next discovery set purchase on my list but I got sidetracked with a lot of things non fragrance related. Will be grabbing that ASAP. I meant to do that almost immediately after watching your first experience with them in your unboxing awhile back. Still can't get the Freddy Kruger thing out of my head because of it lol

Another awesome and informative video as always, definitely going to have to my nose on some of them. Also want to say thank you for turning me on to Papilefiko simply an amazing scent. I’ve only had it a week and it’s been my SOTD for four of those days.

Don't know if this gets to you in time! I'm wearing African Rooibos out this weekend. Should I just hit the pressure points and leave it at that, ordo a good once over? My first time out in over thirty years! BTW, love your videos. Very informative!
Christian provozano is my favorite perfumer have to check that house, he does all the boadicea perfumes as well. My weird one that's a ten out of ten is Sayat Nova by Bortnikoff, caramelly oudy goodness
Lol I had the EXACT same experience as you with Bois Mysterieux. First impression was at Disney as well and I had the same reaction you had. It’s been years since that day at Disney so after seeing this I’m set on getting my nose on it again. Maybe I’ll end up with a bottle too lol

I recently got a sample of African Rooibos, and honestly wonder if mine is defective lol. The first 10 seconds are deliciously gorgeous! And then after a few seconds, every trace of that vanishes and all I can smell is some gross rubbery scent 🤢 I don’t get any of the notes that I heard here or read online :/ which is a shame because it really sounded like something I would love
Zaharoff 2nd Soul is NOT a 10/10 fragrance, people. It's not even a 1/10 fragrance. It's not a 2, 3, 4 6, 8, or even 0 out of 10. Attributing a number rating to one of the GOAT frags of today is not only offensive but just flat-out inappropriate. It's like one person saying "what's your favorite planet?" and then answering by saying "the sun", because...IT MAKES NO DAMN SENSE WHY THE DAMN THING SMELLS SO DAMN GOOD. All the rest of the frags JC mentions here are, well, cute and all, but he's just bullshittin' really, because even he knows that 2nd Soul is STILL dunking on all of em. I'll be honest, some of these brands I don't know much about, I don't know if they make original scents or would be considered brands that make clones. I assume coming from your channel, these are original scents unless you state otherwise.
