- My 1,774th kite video. This is the second of two videos from last weekend, when I was lucky enough to be able to fly on both days. I'm a bit late putting it up, but I hope you enjoy it.
Anyone wanting to check out all my "How to..." videos on various aspects of kite-flying can now find them all easily on my Playlist at / jimskitesnz . Спорт
One of my favor pieces of music. Very nice Jim.
Glad you enjoyed it, Michael.
Great video, Jim. Although the wind died down, the display looked great while you guys were able to have it up. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, John. It's a very changeable time of year, so we welcome any chance to fly.
Another awesome video! Loving the blue jellyfish!
Mark has a bit of an obsession with Jellyfish, as you can see.
Nice video Jim. The Jelly Fish are always cool. Maybe the wind will cooperate tomorrow. Thanks Jim!
Thanks, Dewey!
You and Mark had a great display up. I hope Graham gets to see his spinners in action. That new fencing is rather a hinderance but I know you are moving more to the south side of the club house.
It's a great pity you couldn't come this weekend, Carl. I hope you're able to make it in two weeks' time.
Cool video again Jim. thanks
Glad you enjoyed it, Henk.
These octopus kites have an interesting design (and I like the orange one there).
If I were a kitemaker I'd wonder about internal bracing needed to make a two-stack.
Love the Ultrafoil !
It's good, but unfortunately out of production now, although it may return.
So Beautiful kites 👍👍
Thanks Vikram!
Hi,
Another great display. Hopefully you'll get some trilobites up in the air this weekend for the world trilobite fly weekend 2021... My two new big ones are all ready to go, I just hope the weather cooperates!
Cheers,
Bill.
I'll be doing my best, Bill. Carl was coming up from Dunedin but has had to call it off. Peter and Mark, our other two regulars, will be flying, I hope, and it looks as if Saturday might be suitable for a while, but Sunday not so good. Fingers crossed! Good luck with your weather, and I look forward to seeing the new kites. It's seven years next month since I got my first Trilobite (maybe the first outside China) and look how popular it's become now!
@@JimNicholls Hi
The forcast is not too bad but it looks like it'll be the usual dull sky. But hopefully there'll be some breaks in the cloud, you never know we might even see the sun.
Spongebob can fly any day you like.. that smile is habit forming…
He's a very popular fellow, Priscilla - everyone seems to know him.
Was the post line added for kiters convenience?
Quite the reverse, Glenn. The new fence has taken a chunk off the beach and made it more difficult to retrieve fallen kites.
your Spongebob has a face .The one here has just green polka dots
That sounds very odd!
It looked really odd. I was disappointed when I didn't see a face. I had filmed it from the backside all Summer. So I would get it's face during the Kite Festival. I was SHOCKED!!!
Found a place 4 hours north of here. I went and took a look. Huge and comes with jacuzzi soaking tubs in the bathrooms. The one I want will not be ready till November 1st.
The builder will let me know when it is ready.
They had just unboxed the appliances, and the drywall was still drying. Needed to be painted and the rugs put in. They had just finished putting in the fireplace.
