- I thrifted over 40 different pieces of clothing from the Goodwill Outlet / Goodwill Bins with the sole purpose of taking in to my local buy, sell, trade store, Uptown Cheapskate, to resell for a profit! I thrifted lots of lower-end, trendy items that aren't worth my time and effort to resell, but that still should be snatched up by a buy, sell, trade store! I know that they won't pay me very much for these items, but I will hopefully be able to at least triple my money, and then use the in-store credit that they give me in exchange for my thrifted clothing to find higher end items to resell for much more on my Poshmark! It's a fun little strategy for my thrifting business, and one that is so much fun for me to thrift items for! If you enjoy today's huge bins thrift haul, let me know, and I'll film these more often!

What's in the video/what's going on in my life:
Poshmark is an app that is allowing me to fulfill my dreams of thrifting as a business, and I love to share with others just how they can make money selling on Poshmark whether that be by just selling clothes they have lying around the house, or reselling on Poshmark items that they buy specifically to resell on Poshmark. It is a fun and easy way to make a little extra cash, or even a lot of cash! :)

Why I thrift / resell:
I have such a fun time thrifting at Goodwill or at the Goodwill bins. Thrifting and reselling isn't about the money for me, it's about the adventure and what I can find. Thrifting at Goodwill means that you can find just about anything at a good price. If you make the trip to the Goodwill bins / Goodwill outlets, it requires more work, but it's easy to fund your thrifting obsession. The reselling and retail arbitrage of my thrift flip adventure started off as a way to just make my money back. Selling on Poshmark and Mercari not only funds my thrifting needs + gives me some extra spending cash, but it's starting to become a genuine way to make money. With enough work, thrifting and retail arbitrage can easily become my primary source of income. My husband and I both have jobs to support us, but the money we make from thrifting and reselling is growing pretty steadily. On top of that, I get such a thrill every time I sell something.
Why I sell on Poshmark:
Poshmark is an amazing resource, anyone interested in reselling should be using it. Poshmark is a user-friendly platform that allows the resellers to decide how involved they want to be. Poshmark gives it's sellers the opportunity to increase sales by sharing their listings and getting them in front of more eyes. It's an easy step that will help you increase your sales on Poshmark. The site has treated my husband and I really well as resellers. Poshmark is the platform that showed me that I can turn thrifting and reselling into a side hustle. You should ask them if they have a flyer card that shows you what's trending that they're ISO, as far as colors, patterns, era's, etc. Then they should have a list of brands.

For me, I say that it depends on what it is. My opinion is that most people will wash the clothes they receive from you, so as long as the clothing seems generally clean and/or doesn't smell or have stuff on it, I don't waste my time. I'll steam some things and wash things if I know that they definitely need it!
I do this but I send to TU but maybe going to BST would be faster. I notice they take more brands like SHien and forever 21 and thats so much easier to find at the bins. It may be better
Oooooh, I’ve done both, but I DEFINITELY prefer BST. It is faster, and I generally find that I make a similar amount of money with less work, and that brand isn’t as important as style!

I managed to make almost 200$ from the bins alone at my OUAC and Platos! OUAC staff probably dislikes me since I came a hour before closing with 2 huge laundry baskets 😅🤣

Do they tell you how much you make individually, or is it just a bulk amount? BTW thank you for doing this video. I'm still not ready to take the leap, but maybe sometime soon.
Usually they just do a bulk amount, but I actually went behind the counter and they let me look at the computer to see their itemized list of what they paid per item! They usually were giving me about $3.12 per item! I forgot to include that in the video, so I'm glad that you asked!
I would get embarrassed if they did not take anything which is why Im scared to go LOL.....

Dang! Can I ask where you’re located? I’ve been to a few bins locations that were much higher, but they were mostly on the west coast. Yes, you won’t find me complaining about our bins prices! 👍🏼
i tear date tag out because the platos i (rarely) go to loves to pretend they're some kind of upscale boutique while simultaneously stocking their racks with stretched out and dingy walmart clothes lol.
