I just wrote a review for my work place to recommend a book to our students. I saw we had a collection of his poetry so I recommended that since most of our students don't read any of it. It's a little hard for them to get since they're learning English as a second language, but they've really liked "The Raven". They just come to me to explain all the cool techniques Poe uses in the poems in the collection.
I like your take on mice. I've got a couple indoors, and eventually re- home in the shed. Whoah I've never known a dog that catches mice 🐶but have known an alcoholic who spent £7,000+ a year minimum on booze - my separated husband!
@@saintdonoghue I actually really, really appreciated that comment of yours because it completely resonated with me. It is true. The lived experience of sharing a life with an alcoholic of those proportions requires every angle of commentary... serious to humourous. But yes the trajectory is generally as you commented. Not to mention all the people's lives the alcoholic drags into the mire to ruin. I'm living proof. But I try to keep my humour up 🌞😺
I don’t know that we’ll ever be able to stay as your guests, my friend. I’m terrified of mice. TERRIFIED. Never been sure why, but the sight of one makes my skin crawl.
I just checked Penguin's web site and there is a Portable Poe volume. It appears very comprehensive but no Pym. It's about 600 plus pages. Maybe this will work for you.
Miniature Schnauzer is looking better and better. My cats are far too live and let live with mice. BTW, whats the occasional taptaptap I keep hearing? Is Frieda into something?
Bruh u had me cracking with that entry ✊🏽
There’s a whiff of something Edwardian about Frieda’s whiskers

I was wondering when we would get another Frieda mouse story.

I wasn't intending to be glib in this video, but if you lived with one, you know what I was saying: they're bottomless pits for money.

Oops I have replied from my other YT account but it's the same person. No pressure to reply because you must be inundated with messages and photos 🌞😺
Made me think of the movie "mousehunt". They should have got a schnauzer.
I loved that movie!

The sight of them? Oh come on! Even their detractors have to admit that they're cute!
