I was posted in Kashmir hence love this place. Studied her culture and civilization in depth. Kashmir is technically Aryan Central Asian region of our beloved country India. All genuine Kashmiri Muslims have accepted a fine Semitic religion Islam via mainly Sufis from Kashmiri Hindus. Thus except for religion the Pandits of Kashmir and the Kashmiris Muslims have all in common. Kashmir is an ancient land and even in ancient times Kashmiris never liked mixing with other people the same is true now, nothing wrong in this India is a colorful diverse nation. Read the classic of Kashmir Rajatarangini and all shall become clear about Kashmir and Kashmiris. The Kashmiris defeated Mahmud of Ghazni the Turk, Yusuf Chak (from a family of newly converted individuals to Shia Islam) thrashed the huge army of Akbar and later Ahmad Shah Durrani’s huge Afghan army was decimated by the Kashmiris. Kashmir has always lacked numbers but her creativity in every disciple including spiritualism, academics, etc. is surely second to none globally this is strongly supported by the genius Al-Biruni. Even in sports Kashmir produced the likes of Gama in wrestling. Many top advisors of the great Maharaja Ranjit Singh Sandhu were Kashmiris such as Raja Dina Nath and others. One of his best military commanders was Col. Ayodhya Prasad a Kashmiri. The education system is now also suffering in Kashmir.. For example study Rishi Sunak he has the best globally possible education (on his own merit) yet compare him to T.N. Kaul who was educated at a lower level earlier in Kashmir.
