I used to love this festival - it used to be special! And it was about pairing food and wine - flavors blending so well together it became a new thing. There were special events, tastings, parties, chefs and events. It was a real happening. Now you can’t tell much difference between festivals or from year to year. Sad!
Yes, It's like you can't even tell there's a festival going on for "food and wine". I guess they found people will still buy food from the little kioses. So they keep most of them up year round and sell food...
Adam, Real nice of you to talk to the man and woman from Britian. I don't want people from other countries to think Americans are stuffy. I try and talk to people to. So again, good for you. Your videos are great.
Oh my days - my UK ears were drawn to the voices of the UK couple near the beginning of this video! Your interaction with them was heart warming. I loved how dismissive they were of the chicken tikka masala - we really do eat curries all the time in the UK! Great video 😊
OMG/those British folks sitting next to you when you were eating recognize you that’s hilarious Adam-not only are you a legend here in the states but obviously an international sensation 😮😅😂😊
@@Peajay007 I know its not Adam's M.O, but I wish he would show the fans if they give permission. Especially when he goes international. Its all part of the experience.
Mr the Woo did me dirty. He said he hit his cheese quota and I turned to my mom and said "see, I told you there's such a thing as a cheese quota" and just then Mr the Woo says "I don't really have a cheese quota". You got me good!
Cannot stand the lack of seating at EPCOT, particularly for eating during festivals. Don't they see people putting their food on the freaking trash cans out in the sun!?! We would go twice as often if not for this BS.
Food and Wine has never been my favorite, only did it once and wasn't impressed. For the price of all those food bites, could of have a nice dinner there.
Raclette is our New Year's in Germany! You have a little cooker, kind of like a fondu pot but instead you have little raclettes (little metal plates), that you can put cheese, ham, cook an egg, what ever you can imagine... let the cheese and whatever else you have used, melt and cook... then "pour" it on to a baguette slice... and enjoy. You can also cook chicken and beef that are specially cut to fit a raclette plate... look it up... it is hard to describe. But again, it is traditional on Silvester (New Year's Eve) because no one has to cook one big meal, because everyone makes their own raclette. (you can get four plate up to 12 plate raclette "machines" to cook on....they have colored tips on the handles so you don't mix up the one you have already used with someone else's while they cook)
Hi Adam! Loving your return to WDW! Looking forward to your international trip! May God continue to Bless you and your family! PS The little pickle is a Cornichon!
The British lady who sat next to you sounds like she’s from ‘up north’, same region where I’m from!! We’re very friendly (and well-versed in Indian curry). I haven’t found much good Indian food out here in Tacoma, but there’s a good one on 192 called Divine Indian if you’re ever in the mood!
Was at EPCOT this time last year on a Saturday. EPCOT was always my favourite of all the parks, but the crowd levels were INSANE, the queues for all the booths were huge and what was most disappointing is that the atmosphere was more like a Stag/Hen Do (Bachelor/Bachelorette party) just large groups of revellers getting drunk around world showcase! Of course carousing usually brings out certain traits in people and most aren't family friendly, I'm not a prude and don't mind a drink myself, but COME ON! This is Disney. Walt didn't want the parks to serve alcohol never mind become a breeding ground for pre-wedding activities. It really did ruin the vibes of being in Disney and thus has been relegated into fourth place on my list after the most recent visit.
The little pickle is the Cornichon....another very popular thing in Germany... eaten with "cold supper" When for the evening meal you have bread, ham (or other lunch meat) cheese, cornichons, olives, ect.
I love the food to go days where you don’t need to make a reservation just show up and show your annual pass! How cool parking at dory 407 just like the area code
The next festival I was driving down for is Festival of the Holidays (Which I am still attending first week of December) but decided to throw in a quickie trip last week of October for Food and Wine. I don't drink so it's more about trying some new food items, people watching and just hanging out LOL Plus I really do love my solo trips. I do agree though that Festival of the Arts is the absolute best followed by Flower and Garden. Love all the colors and topiaries.
10:42 It's been a while since I've seen Adam dropping his food... :) It reminded me of the time, I believe it was McDonald's Big Mac, you dropped it twice....
Was at Sea world yesterday evening for a special passholder event and went over to URO today and it didn't seem so much like the heat, but the humidity. In both cases I was dripping sweat and SWO >6pm in orca stadium just flinging the sweat off my forehead.
That heat is beyond brutal, never been to a food and wine festival, would of loved a bit of that tenderloin Adam, the cheese on your potato looked magnificent, love cheese, also loved your haircut, by the way those shirts definitely suit you, enjoyed the vlog although might raid the fridge now.
All over the world, people know Adam like family...must be strange to run into people who know so much about you but you know nothing about them. Hope when Adam goes outside US, he crosses paths with lots of fans who treat him like a long lost relative.
Hopefully someday I'll get to return to Orlando and visit my relatives out there again but in meantime thanks for keeping everyone informed on as many attractions as possible. My uncle use to be a bus driver for WDW but he has now been retired for awhile which is obviously well deserved. Despite all the memories I'm not sure if I'll ever get to enter the parks again since pricing is getting more expensive but we'll see. I try to stay optimistic. Which Epcot ride is your favorite? Besides Movies and Music one of my other interests was Agriculture so I'd have to choose Living with The Land.
The cheese is a type called “raclette”,-the ham, raclette cheese, potatoes and cornichons ( small gherkin type pickles) is a favorite Street food in Switzerland snd Germany..My son was studying international law in Geneva and we ate raclette at local festivals. I now buy raclette at Whole Foods! I a also buy real cornichons imported from France at Whole Foods( your pickle looked like a gherkin , not a real cornichon ! Try them when you are in Europe!

I love Food and Wine, but we had to take a break in the afternoon because of the sun and intense heat. We took the skyliner back to Pop Century. Took a nap for a couple hours and went back in the evening for some more food and to see the firework show which was beautiful. That's kind of been our M O to keep from getting sunburned and worn out. Just take a little siesta in the afternoon.
You haven’t been to the Alps, but maybe Soon! I am sure you’ll visit Zerimat (The Matterhorn) in your future travels! And the Disney castle? In London, Mary Poppins Neighborhood?

Mrs. Rated and I recently discovered Raclette cheese ... it's from Switzerland, but not the same as Swiss cheese. Typically melted and served with or on bread. Tasty stuff!
I like collecting the official Disney cookbooks and copycat recipes online, as I find its actually way more fun to try and recreate all their festival goodies and dishes at home. For instance there's a couple of decent copycats--with a few tweaks, of Topolino's chicken rigatoni dish that I tried after Adam's friend Kevin kept raving about it. Good stuff. I can't wait for Adam to visit Zermatt and see the real Matterhorn! :)💚🏔
