Yay NYC!!! If you’re in the mood to see another show while you’re here, I’m a cast member in Moulin Rouge The Musical and would love to give you a backstage tour afterwards! Enjoy your trip! ♥️
I’ve watched you guys for years and years and it’s such a lovely thing to see Jenn get to have all these experiences (and be so excited about them). I know she’s struggled with anxiety in the past, so seeing her excited about NYC and taking solo trips is so, so great. And I know for many it seems bare minimum, but Tim taking note of her (current) hyper fixation and surprising her in this way is incredibly thoughtful and endearing.
Fun Fact: Jordan Litz who is currently playing Fieryo on Broadway used to be a cast member in the Dapper Dans & Voices of Liberty! Have the best time in the city!! 💚🥳
Omg Jenn!! I’m a disney Cast member from Disney Store in Times Square!!! You have to come here!!! I would totally cry! Also contact Rachel from Dislyfe! She sees us all the time at the store!! My fellow cast member and i have followed to for years!!
Jen this is so sweet! I’m not sure if anyone else said this but in case you don’t know, Wicked is based on a book. A new thing for you to read before you see the Broadway Show!
Grab a piece of Junior’s cheesecake before or after the show. Go to Katz deli, grab a sandwich and eat in the park. World Trade Center Museum is so moving. Rockefeller Center to see the tree. Have a wonderful time!
Jen as a former NY for 50 years, please, please, please, don't go to Red Lobster or Taco Bell in Time Square. NY had the "best restaurants" in the world, don’t waste your opportunity for new places for chain restaurants you can go to here. What is a really cool thing to do is take a dinner cruise, World Yacht or Spirit of New York. The food is great and the views frim the harbor of the city at night is so amazing! You will have the best time! Enjoy yourselves!
Try one of the pizza places like John's of Bleecker Street (go early).. it's right around the corner from Cornelia Street if you are a switfie, and it's near Washington Square Park (if you want to see the Arch) and near the Friends and Sex and the City photo stops. My advice would be to avoid Times Square as much as you can. Check out Central Park! My daughter loved the food at Tavern on the Green- it was such a sweet place. Also- we loved Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty tours, and the One World Trade Center observation deck and restaurant are worth the price of admission for sure. Have a great trip!
You’re going to LOVE Wicked, I’ve seen it multiple times! I can’t recommend Ellen’s Stardust Diner enough, it’s right by Broadway and it is so much fun! The waitstaff are all aspiring Broadway singers in training and they all perform songs of their choice while serving.
Wicked is the perfect musical to see with your best friend! I’m so excited for you!! If you’d wanna do a cute theme for the musical outfit wise when you go one of you could dress up in pink and the other green. Just a fun little thought.
So exciting for NYC! As someone from here, please do yourself a favor and don’t stay in a hotel in Times Square. You will see plenty of it when you see the show, but then stay somewhere in the west village or downtown in Soho or Tribeca. It will be cold - bring sweaters and a jacket!
Maybe you will be in NY for lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center……You will need a coat unless we are having a warmer than usual weather, A carriage ride in Central Park is great, ,,,,A cocktail at the St, Regis Hotel…..Fun time to look forward to. ❤️🙏🏽🌴 Brunch at The Plaza is a real treat, 🍷
Wow. This one hits all the feelers. I’ve been watching these 2 since the (almost) beginning and the love these two share and watching it grow …. I can’t adequately describe how awesome they are together.❤
If you want to make it a Wicked day, they offer a behind the scene tour of Wicked on Broadway. You'll get to see some props and maybe talk to the cast and crew. I think the tour is called Behind the Emerald Curtain.
Eeeee going to New York is so exciting!!! My favorite place to eat whenever I am in the city is Ellen’s Stardust Diner. It is such a unique place where all of the members of the wait staff are Broadway trained and they sing and dance and there’s confetti and it’s AMAZING! And I love the food. I always get the Quiche!! Every time I bring someone new to the city i always bring them to Ellen’s! Have a blast, Jenn!! 🫶🏻
New York City is so fun! You should definitely go to the Disney Store in Times Square! I hope you will be there when they put the tree up in Rockefeller Center!
As a born & raised new yorker, just avoid times square completely lol especially with your anxiety Jenn! Trust. Get a proper slice of pizza, take a walk through central park, visit a museum or two (the MoMA, MET & Natural history) . Get a hot dog from one of the street carts is also a MUST😂
as somebody who lives in NYC…it’s tradition to go to schmackerys cookie shop after a broadway show! the funfetti cookie is INCREDIBLE enjoy yourself!!!!
Make sure you check weather so you know how to dress. Suggestions: Visit Ground Zero, World Trade Centerr, Husdon Yards. Do a Circle Line tour/cruise. Double decker bus tours. So much to do & eat! Have fun!
Seeing the stage performance of wicked is unbelievable! There are two songs in particular that will captivate you, it is phenomenal!! The voices are outstanding! So exciting!!
so cute seeing Jackson signing off because it wasn't forced, he really likes what you guys do and wants to be a part of it. That such a beautiful sight to see.
Wicked is my ALL TIME FAVORITE musical!!!! I’ve seen it on stage 8 times, but never on Broadway!!!! It’s on my bucket list. You will love it!!! Happy early birthday!
Jenn!!!! You are going to love it! My first time seeing Wicked was on Broadway New York 2016 for my 33rd birthday. I cried and fell in love with it. It’s so skin tingling if that makes sense. I’ve seen it a further 2 times in Edinburgh, Scotland and was just so amazing. On the day we spent the day in Central Park, drank coffee and people watched then went there at night. Enjoy! I tend to put the album and sing my heart out for a bit to relax haha.
The guy who said, “I’m walking here” was Dustin Hoffman in Midnight Cowboy. And apparently that was improvised when a car drove into the scene when it wasn’t supposed to.
I took my daughter for her 16th birthday to see Wicked on Broadway. You’re going to absolutely love it beyond measure. New York is amazing too. Happy early birthday Jen!
I liked staying at Marriott Marquis hotel ….it is the middle of Times Square. I liked being in the hub bub because everything was in walking distance including the Gershwin Theater.
So excited for you! Wicked is such a magical musical. The epitome of dining in NYC and near Broadway is Sardi's. This is where all the caricatures of celebrities line the walls.
There is nothing better than seeing Wicked on Broadway! It gave me chills and made we want to see it again and again! I've have seen it at least 4 more times at different theatres. Central Park is a must. Take a city tour bus to see all the touristy things (like Empire State building, Rockefeller Centre, 911 site etc..). Go to all the museums too. You'll have a great time!!
I absolutely agree 100%! I’ve seen Wicked at least 12 times…on Broadway and the Touring company. It is my most favorite ! The songs are fantastic also. I agree also about your suggestions to Jenn on what she should see and do. I LOVED the tour buses because you can get on and off at different locations to see all the sights! Madam Tussaud’s Wax Museum was fun. There’s a Broadway museum that looks really interesting too. So much to do….so little time! 😊
A native NYer here. Stay at the Marriott Marquis…..Ray and June(your travel agent)…..that’s the place to stay IMO No Red Lobster-please! Or stay at The Plaza. Try a sushi Omakase dinner Top of Empire State Building/Statue of Liberty Hope it is helpful Jackson ending the video❤❤❤❤❤
We've gone to NYC for the last 3 years and we love the Marriott Marquis! Close to shows and all the subway lines. Especially if you are there only for a few days! Go to Joe's Pizza!!
I went to NY in 1992 for a graduation present. I got to see Cats on Broadway and I still remember how amazing the singer was when she sang the Memory song.
I literally started bawling when hearing your birthday surprise story. You both are so cute and I’m so happy for you both! Hope I can find someone who understands me like you both do :)
Ask Rea your travel agent they were just there and vlogged it. Go eat at Tavern on the Green and Serindipity for dessert. See about reservations now. Very famous.
Jenn I’m so excited for you to not only see Wicked but to see it at the Gershwin Theater ON Broadway is just next level! I’ve been a Wicked super fan since its debut in 2003 and I think you will LOVE it! I’m so excited for you! What a perfect birthday gift!
I’m so excited to see what Jenn and her friend get up to in NYC! Personally, I always get really nervous before I go on a trip but once I get to the destination, I’m able to relax into the trip and have fun. I think it’s because I feel like the travel there is the main place where things can go wrong in a way that will ruin the trip. Once I’m there, if things don’t go 100% to plan, that’s ok because I’m in the place, having an experience. Also, if something goes wrong on the way home, what am I really missing by it taking a little longer to get home? Just my regular life. I hope Jenn ends up feeling a similar way and can relax into things once she gets there!
Oh my gosh, that’s so amazing. I live in New York City. I hope you enjoy the musical. You deserve it and you’re such an awesome husband and father.❤❤❤❤❤
The Wicked musical is my FAVORITE! I can't wait for the movie! I also recommend the books. But the musical in NYC is just a special experience because the theater is specific for that play. I'm SO excited for you! ❤
You must stay at the Marriot Marquis . By far the best location to walk every where and their rooms are big for New York . Also if your into Jazz , even if your not it's a really cool spot... birdland is so cool.
Hey hey hey!!!! Stitch is my favourite all time Disney character….. I’m so thrilled kids even still know him and love him. Don’t let him fade into Disney history… STITCH FOREVER!!!!!!
Wide array of things from Broadway, Central Park, 9/11 memorial is a must, Rockefeller Center, Staten Island ferry, Statue of Liberty, China town, little Italy, Times Square, Greenwich village, 5th Avenue. The world is your palm tree.
Yay NYC!! My sister lived there for 5 years! Times Square is a nightmare but you have to go to it for the show so take some time before to explore but its always packed and dont take a picture with the characters they will not let you go unless you pay them!!! Upper east side has great restaurants! Upper west side is very chill! Downtown is fun to walk around and shop there’s cute shops everywhere as well as the major players! Wicked is incredible!!!!!! It holds such a special place in my heart and I know you will absolutely LOVE it!!!!!! NYC will be cold not freezing but cold and definitely freezing to you so for sure bundle up!!! im so excited for you and your bff! Cant wait to hear all about it!
The show is absolutely amazing! I saw the touring company with my sister, who is a little older than you, Jen, in 2021. We also went to NYC in 2007. Saw Hairspray on Broadway. If you like rice pudding, there’s a place in China town called Rice to Riches that has some good rice pudding. Grand Central Station is really fascinating. Also, a cheaper alternative to the Empire State Building is Top of the Rock at 30 Rockefeller. It’s almost as tall too.
NYC is so much fun. Central Park is huge. There is a castle, a zoo, several ponds/water features and trails all in central park. China Town is fun. Times squares, etc. I hope y'all have a fantastic time!
NY is really pretty around the holiday season and people go just to see it! 🎄 So excited for you Jenn!! Hope youll get some clips for us to see all your adventures!!!
The wicked book series that everything is based on is really good. There are 4 books in the main series, Wicked , son of a witch, a lion among men and out of Oz. Then 3 in the spin-off series The Brides of Maracoor , The Oracle of Maracoor and The Witch of Maracoor.
I just finished Wicked. The first half was really good. Third quarter was frustrating. Fourth quarter made it worth reading, but it felt sped up. I also read The Wizard of Oz this year and highly recommend relying on the book vs. the movie because there's so much that happened after Triple W died. Both are worth the read.
People that have been watching for a long time knew. I went through a phase of rewatching old videos over and over so that was probably helpful as well at least with not forgetting. Lol 🍁😺💚😺😊🍕🍁
this is SO sweet. when i first discovered wicked, I was in 6th grade (2007). My parents surprised me with a trip to NYC to see it and I CRIED. It was such a core memory for me. I'm so glad you're getting to experience this moment. Live it up!!!!
Tim is the best husband. Always so thoughtful. Jen, you are going to LOVE Wicked!!! I've seen it a few times. It's my favorite play. My favorite songs are Popular and I'm Not That Girl 😊 You both look fantastic for your date night!
Hi Jenn, 🎉Happy NYC birthday trip planning!! I live in CT and go to NYC all the time! There’s always something new to see and do in the city. Central Park bike tour (bring cash), Top of the Rock (you can see the Empire State Building from it), Rockefeller Center🎄. ✨ My husband and I met Tim at Magic Kingdom last year during our honeymoon in August. Hope to meet you this year at the Christmas Party ! We will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary/ my 1st Disney Christmas ❤
As someone who lived in that area for their entire life---hotels in NJ are MUCH cheaper and you can take a bus/ferry over to the city. Also is alot safer. Goodluck!
Great tip! My family and I went in July, stayed in Edgewater, NJ. Bus right outside hotel took us to midtown bus terminal and then subway it. Pretty affordable and no additional parking fees except for hotel.
I coincidentally was wearing my Wicked shirt from when I saw it on Broadway as I watched this! 🥰 you’re going to have such an amazing time Jenn! My #1 recommendation is Carmine’s Italian Restaurant. It’s in the theater district so walkable to the theater, it’s DELICIOUS, affordable, and family style so the portions are huge and shareable. 10/10!!!
Be safe there!!! Really don't want to scare you but keep track of all your stuff and watch your surroundings at all times. Don't go alone anywhere. Go to the Disney Store there!! It's huge!! Also have the stable bagel/ pizza there. Have fun!!
Aaah, so excited for your birthday trip Jenn! Me and my besties saw Wicked on the North American tour a few months ago and it was spectacular! Ive wanted to see it for so long. I hope you have the best time!!!!
I got to go to Broadway when I graduated from high school and I saw Hamlet with Ralph Fiennes!!!! Best show ever!!!! We stayed at the Marriott Marquis and visited the MOMA and Central Park!!! Would do it again any day! I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!!
Yay NYC!!! If you’re in the mood to see another show while you’re here, I’m a cast member in Moulin Rouge The Musical and would love to give you a backstage tour afterwards! Enjoy your trip! ♥️
How awesome!!! I hope they take you up on this! ❤
OMG Jenn do it. I saw moulin rouge in march and it was amazing!!!!
oh, my mom and i liked the show when we came last year!
I'm seeing MR in October! I'm so excited. You work in a great show!
I want to see this musical so bad! Moulin was one of my favorite movies. I absolutely love their music!
I’ve watched you guys for years and years and it’s such a lovely thing to see Jenn get to have all these experiences (and be so excited about them). I know she’s struggled with anxiety in the past, so seeing her excited about NYC and taking solo trips is so, so great.

Seeing Wicked on Broadway is a life altering experience! So excited for you Jenn!

Omg Jenn!! I’m a disney Cast member from Disney Store in Times Square!!! You have to come here!!! I would totally cry! Also contact Rachel from Dislyfe! She sees us all the time at the store!! My fellow cast member and i have followed to for years!!
Stop, because I've literally been waiting for the day Jackson would be old enough to do the sign off since he was born and now I'm crying 😭
Came here to say this 😭
Jen this is so sweet!
The museum of natural history is amazing
Yes! This and the MET are must dos if you have time for museums!
Love that Jen says “something I’ve never told you” and then keeps us in suspense for an anecdote 😂😂
Check if World famous Radio City Music Hall has The Rockettes Christmas show while you are there. Some days they do 3 shows in a day.
Was going to add that as a suggestion as well. Awesome show.
Yes such a good idea!
Jen as a former NY for 50 years, please, please, please, don't go to Red Lobster or Taco Bell in Time Square. @@Ellen-vc7xn I think she was joking but I even clutched my pearls at the thought LOL

Also The Strand Bookstore - 18 miles/multiple floors of books.
I was just going to suggest this as well! So fun!! I surprised my husband and didn’t tell him what it was all about. He loved it!
I see so many tiktoks from there and it is a dream of mine to go someday!!
Oliver singing twinkle twinkle little star in the background while you’re talking about your New York trip was so cute and sweet 🥰
I love Jen going on these trips, she works so hard on the videos and being a mom and absolutely deserves to be spoiled
Wicked is the perfect musical to see with your best friend! I’m so excited for you!! If you’d wanna do a cute theme for the musical outfit wise when you go one of you could dress up in pink and the other green. Just a fun little thought.

Agreed! Times Square isn't it, Jenn.
As a fellow New Yorker, I 100% agree with all your tips :)
We loved staying in time Square! Marriott Marquis was amazing!! And, we walked over to see Phantom. It was the best!!
Yup me too from NYC
Maybe you will be in NY for lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center……You will need a coat unless we are having a warmer than usual weather, A carriage ride in Central Park is great, ,,,,A cocktail at the St, Regis Hotel…..Fun time to look forward to. ❤️🙏🏽🌴 Brunch at The Plaza is a real treat, 🍷
You will FALL in LOVE with NYC. I went in December several years ago and it was pure MAGIC! You will LOVE it!
All it is a museum and a talk back with some Cast Members still fun though.
For insurance purposes they can't do a proper BTS tour.
Eeeee going to New York is so exciting!!! My favorite place to eat whenever I am in the city is Ellen’s Stardust Diner. As a transplant New Yorker, big yep to all of this!! ^^^
Agree!!!
I’m born and raised in New York City.. and I agree. Avoid Xtimes square at all costs
Born and raised in NYC and I agree. I would be careful right now.
You have to go to Times Square
Saw Wicked with Kristin Chenoweth at the Fox Theater in St. Louis many years ago. It was fabulous!!!! Enjoy!!!
Stepping outside your comfort zone is pretty dang exhilarating. Good for you Jenn.
OMG Jenn Tracker coming to OUR city?!?!? Ahhhhhh NYC here she comes!!!! 😃
as somebody who lives in NYC…it’s tradition to go to schmackerys cookie shop after a broadway show! the funfetti cookie is INCREDIBLE enjoy yourself!!!!
Mary Jo & Kat & Katie. 🤣🤣🤣
ETA: Jackson did such a great job with the ending! 💚
When Tim said "Stop trying to make Stitch happen" I laughed out loud! I couldn't agree more! 😂😂😂 Love the shoes Jenn! You both look great!
Saw Wicked many years ago as chaperone on my daughter’s school trip. It was FABULOUS! You’ll LOVE it. 🎉
The current Fiyero and Glinda are ex cast members/performers!! And they are AMAZING!! How serendipitous!
Make sure you check weather so you know how to dress. Suggestions: Visit Ground Zero, World Trade Centerr, Husdon Yards. Do a Circle Line tour/cruise. Double decker bus tours. So much to do & eat! Have fun!

It will be decorated for Christmas!!
You need to see the windows at Saks 5th Avenue and then go see the tree in Rockefeller center.
The guy who said, “I’m walking here” was Dustin Hoffman in Midnight Cowboy. And apparently that was improvised when a car drove into the scene when it wasn’t supposed to.
It's true.

NY is really pretty around the holiday season and people go just to see it! 🎄
So excited for you Jenn!!
Hope youll get some clips for us to see all your adventures!!!
Oliver looks soo much like Jackson with his haircut
I love this! Tim you’re wonderful. I am so happy for Jenn. Jenn, I hope you have an amazing time.
The wicked book series that everything is based on is really good. There are 4 books in the main series, Wicked , son of a witch, a lion among men and out of Oz. Then 3 in the spin-off series The Brides of Maracoor , The Oracle of Maracoor and The Witch of Maracoor.
I only read Wicked and found it so frustrating. Excellent writing, but argh! I’m sure you know what I mean, but I don’t want to write spoilers.
Lol 🍁😺💚😺😊🍕🍁
Jenn calling Disney springs downtown Disney lol, that’s ok, I called Hollywood studios MGM the other day 😂
I call Hollywood MGM to and never even been there before lol
Hollywood Studios will always be MGM
MGM is still what my family calls it.
this is SO sweet. when i first discovered wicked, I was in 6th grade (2007). My parents surprised me with a trip to NYC to see it and I CRIED. It was such a core memory for me. I'm so glad you're getting to experience this moment. Live it up!!!!
Go to the Sept 11 memorial. Statue Of Liberty.
I am so excited for you, Jenn! I have seen wicked five times and it is PHENOMENAL! I can not wait to hear about your trip!!!!
Tim is the best husband. Always so thoughtful. Jen, you are going to LOVE Wicked!!! I've seen it a few times. It's my favorite play. My favorite songs are Popular and I'm Not That Girl 😊 You both look fantastic for your date night!
So excited to hear that Jen will be going to NYC. Hope you have a great time and a fun birthday!
Jenn, you work so hard! You're an amazing woman, wife and mother.
Be safe & be aware of your surroundings & who's around you. Like anywhere. 😊
So happy you’re coming to NYC! I have always dreamed about what those vlogs would look like as a NY native, have fun!!!
Olive garden is in time square 😂
Looks like you guys had a fun evening , you both looked amazing! I love these date night videos!
I hope you have the best time!!!!
oh jenn… you are going to LOVE wicked!!! It is my absolute favourite musical of all time ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Get ready to defy gravity!!!
Ellens Stardust Diner is a must 👌
The staff are crazy talented and perform musical theatre whilst serving tables.
We are from the UK and loved it!
