Hope you're well. I'm exploring GRC and have two quick questions: 1. Is it necessary to establish a foundation in red or blue teaming before diving into GRC? 2. Beyond ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR, what resources do you recommend for GRC? Currently enrolled in ISC2 CC, Aron Lange course, and learning security frameworks. What can I do next or start so I can build my foundation? Appreciate your insights,
@@AliHassan-wx7ze You don’t need to master the red and blue teams. As a GRC, you will work with these teams. For what to do next, look at references from these documents. You may be surprised on where it leads and aligns with your goals.
I believe the Coursera GRC is part of a university program that needs to be completed to get certified. I need to conduct further investigation. I watched one of your short videos, and it was very informative. Thank you once again for all that you do.

I am new to Cybersecurity. I just passed my Certified in Cybersecurity. Do I need to sit for Security plus again? How can I also acquire practical experience that I need to build upon?
Hi Cyber Queen. I have an MS in information security and will complete my second master's degree in Cybersecurity and AI. I have cybersecurity experience and am among the top US contestants in Cyber Quest Fall 2024. Do you have a program for job placement or internship.
Hi I’m new here and I’ve been thinking about starting a new career in cybersecurity but I have no experience and college degree only a high school diploma and been a stay at home mom I don’t know where to start if you can kindly let me know where is the best choice in your opinion I would be happy
First you have to figure out what you want to do? Red - penetration testing red teaming, research and development Blue - incident response, SOC, network security, Purple - both red and blue + vulnerability management Compliance - SOX, PCI, FedRAMP, Hitech, HIPAA, cloud Management - people, processes, and technology management

Hello, first off thank you for all the information! So I just got accepted to UCLA for Cybersecurity, Do you recommend I get certifications to help standout?
Hey, congrats on UCLA! Certifications can be a good boost to your profile. Keep up the great work! Don't forget to do some hands on skills building as well. You've got this!
Nice video. One point that I don't agree, is that it helps to have a degree in GRC. Mostly, it helps to have certs and some overall knowledge, for junior level positions.
Hey! With your skills, you’re already halfway there! Check out my video here on building skills: ruclips.net/video/GRy-c4ILcc0/видео.html, and remember to start networking. You got this!
I hear you! 🔍 Many "beginner friendly" roles ask for experience, but don't give up-showing hands-on skills and projects can help meet those experience requirements!
Hi! Question. I have a degree in Infosecurity and Assurance, however, my issue is experience. Are there any good labs that you're aware of that can give me the practical skills needed so I can be job-ready?
Hey! I totally get it. Check out some cool labs like TryHackMe and Hack The Box. They’re super helpful for getting that hands-on experience you need. You got this! You can also check out my RUclips Video on Skills: ruclips.net/video/GRy-c4ILcc0/видео.html
Hi, have you looked into Unixguy's GRC Mastery certification? From the small number of reviews that exist, it seems to be very good. Just would like your take on it.

Hi 👋🏽 I’ve added the link into the pinned comment
I’m sorry but the “beginner friendly” roles are NOT entry level. They require 2-5 years of experience depending on the job post.
