Today I'm working on a collage with a form. This is prompt 3 of 50, where I take a single prompt and create a collage with it.
Instead of a gluebook, I'm using index cards as the base of my collages. You can use whatever you would like.
If you are a beginner to collage, this is a great project for you. Take a look at the list of prompts and start looking for papers that you can use for assembling collage. Grab your supplies and work along with me.

🔴 I'm Margarete Miller. I'm a collage artist who loves to use vintage papers and vintage themes in my art. I also love all things postal, including lots of postage stamps in my art.
I really enjoy watching your process and this assemblage gave me a chuckle 🤭 The paper looked exactly like an old fashioned circuit board, the MIT references on point for science and era.
The Russian language book and soviet stamps were perfect irony since the Cuban missile crisis was in 1962 and we were still doing duck and cover drills in 65 (so we would be safe from a Soviet nuclear attack.)Your artwork was a perfect reminder of my childhood as the daughter of an aerospace engineer during the Cold War/ space race years.
Wow! How cool to have a dad with a job like that! I totally forgot about the Cuban Missile Crisis being at the same time. Well, all these papers were meant to be together. I'm glad you enjoyed this. 😉👍🏻💙
Hi Margarete, I am amazed at how you made all of that work together like a story line. It turned out brilliantly 👏 See you next week. I hope you're having a great weekend and it will continue thriugh the week! TFS 😊
So glad you enjoyed this, Kimberley❣️👍🏼😉
That rice paper looks EXACTLY like a circuit board! I like your thought process in assembling the collage.
A circuit board! That's what it could represent. I couldn't quite put my finger on that pattern 😉👍🏻💜
Nice job. I have not started so I am far behind. I will get there. Perhaps I will use the soaked journal for this. Thanks so much Margarete!!!
No rush, Juliana. They'll be there whenever you're ready 😉
Turned out beautifully! Looking forward to your tattoo reveal! ❤️
Thank you!! 😉👍🏻💜
As a new beginner I like this assignment using prompts! I just can’t bring myself to start with something, I’m just hoarding! Living in the middle of Sweden i’ts hard finding materials, because you don’t know the name of them😅Then it’s annoying when your Swedish keyboard doesn’t want to write what you want. Thanks so very much for your inspiring videos! It’s so nice sitting with you, hearing you talking of colors, focal points and just everything really😊
Thanks so much for hanging out with me, Inge!! 😘
Love these and can’t wait to see tattoo 😊
Maybe it’s Jazmina. Lol
Your channel is so delightful I love you to work! I want to follow along with you! I have fallen in love with glue books! Your challenges are fantastic! I love learning from you! Please keep going with your creating!
Thank you, finding you

I got confused with my comment. I hope you can figure it out I want to glue and be beautiful!
Thanks so much for your kind comments, Sonia 🙂❣️🌟
This came out amazing! I'm glad you left in all the parts of you trying to make this work. I loved seeing that!
Thanks so much! 💙
Oh, Margaret! I watched this video with pleasure. It is very useful not only for beginners. It's so great that you have a lot of materials from Russia. And the stamps, yes, they are very good. Евгения Сибирь
Hi there, Евгения! I love using my Russian book pages and stamps❣️ I'm so glad you enjoyed this 😉
I’m really enjoying this! I finished my little file box today and am having so much fun with the prompts! Can’t wait for next week!
Wonderful! So glad you're having fun with this. See you next week! 😉👍🏻💙
This is so much fun. I decorated my little recipe box. I do not have the little tabs on mine so I am using the tickets as tabs. It is working out very well. By the way I meant to tell you how much I like your haircut. It looks really good on you
Ooooh! Tickets as tabs. I love that idea!! 🤩
Love your techniques and especially the Royal typewriter.
Thanks! I’m having fun with that typewriter! I just worry about when I’ll need to replace the ribbon😳
So I am enjoying the process videos for this series. I have my cards in a bin ready to start collaging on them. Thanks for your inspiring videos.
Wonderful, Eileen! It’s so awesome when that collection starts to grow 🙂
Enjoying these videos a lot 😊 I haven't started yet, but now I'm hooked and have to do this. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
So glad, Robin! Start whenever you're ready 😉
Lovely card😊 thank you for sharing 🙏 lots of love from Arctic Norway 🥰🍀🌼🌸
Thank you Lena! So glad you enjoyed this 💙
The piece of white paper was driving me crazy but when you added the numbers to it, it looked perfect!
😁👍🏻💙
The black & white soviet stamp - a glaze over it, perhaps?
I don’t like to put top coat over my collages. I prefer the paper to stay in its natural state. 💜

I'd love to craft (thought about it, printed the prompts up)along, but I'm sketching and painting, working on perspectives, ugh. Love the idea. Maybe next one! Love and hugs. 🎉❤
I totally understand. So many choices of what to do, so little time 💜
Margarete: I just enjoying this series so much. Always good looking. Carol from California.
Thanks, Carol!! 💙💜❤️
Hi I really liked the card. Haven't done this one yet. It really makes you think about how much you can get on such a small card. Have a great day.
You sure can squeeze a lot on a 3 x 5 card😉
I love this and I get so excited when I see a new post from you. See you next Friday!
Awww, thank you!! 😘 Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you next week 👏🏼
