Base or not can’t go wrong with Accord imo
I bought a Honda Accord LX in 2013 and 2018. My daughter has the 2013 now.
We both have been very pleased with these cars.
Just got my 2020 accord LX (Dark Blue) about 12 hours ago and I’m loving it so far. I love the smoothness and the quiet ride. The stereo sounds pretty good too!

Worst thing about LX trim is that you can't upgrade your head unit to get Apple Carplay/Android Auto. You have to trade in the ENTIRE vehicle for an EX trim to have an upgraded head unit. So stupid

love my 2019 Accord LX 1.5T 192hp 30/38mpg 17in Champagne Frost . I wanted a car with a small powerful motor and high mpg at a good price , but I also got comfort style and space . roomy front seats, back seats and trunk plus great stereo , safety and tech . powerful drive , great handling ( I own a Saab 9-5 , 91 MR2 , 96 Previa , Lexus ES300 , Rav4 , and have owned other cars for comparison ) the Accord is just a great car .

I went with the 2020 pearl white accord lx 1.5t, over the OPTIMA., and Camry. It was my 1st ever brand new car, and I payed cash, so that's also the reason I went with this model. I love everything except the sound system/LCD display. It actually has some get up when you drop it in S mode. I didn't need a sunroof and I like the rims, but may upgrade. Maybe the 2.0 is in my near future.
3:23 the air vents are under the front seats on the floor. take a look . 6:00 my CVT is great in fact I want it for all my next cars (already have a manual 5sp MR2).
I think you get a little more with a Camry, you get Apple car play with the base Camry Le and naturally powered engine and automatic for long term reliability.

I absolutely love my 2017 Honda Accord Lx, it is amazing drives so smooth. I'll definitely keep this one for years to car. Definitely can't go wrong with Honda💯💯🙌🏽 I actually love the features of the 2017 more than the 2020

@@alvinsimba734 Ya, I don't use my cars or truck a whole lot, when we travel we mostly fly. I took my Honda to Colorado a couple a years ago, If I wouldn't of taken it, I would have less miles on it for sure.

2020 Subaru Legacy premium for less money gives you car play, android auto, rear USB ports, sat radio, and of course full time AWD. A little less power and smaller trunk though.

@@Mir-bt9vm No. 2021 does but when I bought the car the price difference was too much just for apple car play and different wheels.
@@JhustineProvido same here. I leased a 2020 LX, and it was much cheaper than the 2021. I use a tablet with HU related app as an infotainment system/Android auto. Other than that, this car is awesome. The Honda sensing package/adaptive cruise control is an awesome feature for the base model

Nope the accord LX in Canada does not have it. It starts from the sport in Canada (2018+)
@@xxFallenKnight Toyota base models gives you Android auto and apple car play. I currently own a 2018 Honda Accord but it does make me mad how far up you have to go to get features that comes standard in other car companies in base.
Honda has added those to 2021 LX Accord in US.
Yes true, if you're just ok with the essentials that's what this car offers along with it's History of reliability. I had a 2006 LX and those sipped gas and never had any issues with it except basic maintenance. I was looking at this or a ILX. Thank you for the video review.
Great review. I got the same car last year. Came here hoping you will say I can sync the map from my phone. I don't think that is possible right? It does pick up my apple play but not the map. What a bummer.

Good review. I can't help but wonder why it has a 160MPH speedometer. I doubt you could pedal that fast in this Honda.
Top speed is 120 unless you reprogram it with a tuner. They program the car to get the best mpg.

Can you shift to S while driving for better speed and acceleration, or do you only use that for driving uphill?
The S is basically a manual mode where you can shift the transmission yourself.

Honda sucks!! Bought a 2020 Honda Accord with 0 miles brand new it starts giving me problems at 5,000 miles. This was my first Honda worst experience ever! Would not recommend this car ever! Only thing nice is exterior. Took it to dealership and they said they couldn’t duplicate the humming/ grinding noise so they just gave me my car back and acceleration is slow. Like it’s a list of power. I WILL NEVER BUY A HONDA AGAIN! Go to Toyota or Nissan instead!! My mom and sister car still drive awesome brand new 😩
Go to the Carvana and Vroom website and give your car details. You can sell your car to them for a good price. Then use that money and buy yourself a new 2021 Toyota Camry.

Great car. I’ve driven a 2020 accord and Camry. I still like the Honda. The ride feels more refined. Be safe out there.

3 kids might be a bit tight in the back but you can make it work.
