I believe that Philip Glass is the single most unique American composer of 20th century. His music has stood the test of time and continues to be absolutely timeless masterpieces. I was always a huge fan of the impressionists, with Debusy as my favorite, but Glass took that minimalistic, cinematic sound to a whole new level. Mr Glass, if you're out there, THANK YOU.

I love this piece, but can't imagine how to play it on the guitar. The piano can use one hand for each rhythm (not that I'd call that easy) but the guitar has to do it all at once. Awesome.
How are you playing the low notes? Your thumb never seems to move as if you're damping the string instead. It's a fabulous arrangement by the way. Absolutely love it so I bought the track. Only 79p (seems too cheap). Olafur Arnald's played it on April 10th on his BBC Radio 3 Ultimate Calm programme. I think everyone needs a bit of this. Many thanks. Bellissimo. Grazie mille. Ciao.
