- Ya tenemos fecha de estreno. El próximo jueves comienza la tercera temporada de 'Velvet' a las 22:30 horas en Antena 3. Esta temporada viene llena de sorpresas y de nuevas tramas: Alberto se convertirá en el hombre del año, el misterioso Philippe Ray llegará a las galerías y habrá boda.
I am from Romania and I enjoyed every minute of each episode! It’s been a while since I haven’t seen such a good TV Show! Congratulations to the entire team! You did a great job! The actors are all very good and the soundtracks are divine! If a movie can make you rewatch it and never get bored, this is what a good movie is all about! I am definitely going to buy the DVD from Amazon! Hopefully, you will make another movie as good as this!
I from the Caribbean, watched this on Netflix, all seasons and episodes including the finale. Love it so much and I even download the entire soundtrack. I recommend it to one of my colleague at work and she loves it too. Simply the best.

The only reason I'm going to watch this upcoming season is because I really want to see Ana and Alberto pay for what they did. To those of you who genuinely like this show: do you think Ana and Alberto have any blame for what they're doing to Christina? I feel like this show would never pass in American culture; it's just so blatant and irreverent. But that's just my opinion.
+Josh R Well, Cristina is a spoiled girl who have always all she wants, who doesnt really care about other people who are not her family and close friends, how she treated Alberto's mother was very telling. This show is not trying to be realistic in any way though, and there are a lot of americans who love the series, and spanish culture is part of the western culture, it's not that alien to the american one.
Anyway you maybe should try to watch the show from a "gray world" perspective, there is not evil vs good in this show, even Barbara has "heart", just a bit, a really small bit :).
I like the show as well. What I don't like is how the show says that you can cheat, trample on someone else's feelings, and be a complete jerk as long as you're following your heart. It's basically saying you get a free pass to do whatever you want and hurt whomever you want as long as you're doing what's best for yourself. It's egotistical.
I'm just really mad about the way that characters like Rosa Mari, Cristina, and Carlos have been treated. They've been kicked in the gut so many times by Pedro, Ana & Alberto, yet Pedro, Ana & Alberto are still the "loveable heroes/protagonists". It makes me sick.
I'll definitely take your advice and try watching the show from that perspective. If I don't, I'll be spending most of my time yelling at the screen!
I dont think the show is really telling that cheat is ok, the fact that you take side with Cristina is actually the proof it doesnt :). Writers could have made Cristina look like the most despicable woman in the world, but they didnt. She is a well fleshed out woman with strong and positive traits, very protective of her family, who really tries to be the perfect wife, with no luck, to please Alberto, but he doesnt love her, it was something doomed to disaster from the very beginning.
The characters in the show are not perfect by any means, not one, and that makes them very human, i think that's part of the charm of the show, and the music of course :)
Cristina was never at all nice to begin with. She seems like one at first but as we got to know her over time, we see how self-centered she really was. Sure, Alberto and Ana did her wrong by going behind her back, but as early as Season 1, she should have seen the blatant signs that he wasn't into her at all. Their marriage wasn't even based on genuine love, but a convenient partnership, a necessary evil that Alberto had to agree on to save Galerias Velvet from bankruptcy. She should have left him the moment she started doubting his honesty in the first season as well as the deception that played in front of her during her birthday party.
@@jlhabitan50 Alberto cheated on Christina with the Airlines women before him and Ana got back together.. Alberto only agreed to marry Christiana because of the shop he didnt marry Christina for love
