Am not a fan of soap opera but Velvet got me hooked til the last episode of season 4. Thank you, people behind this production: producers, directors, screen writers, crew and the actors and actresses. You did a good job: entertaining your viewers!!! It was not just entertaining, values of friendship, loyalty, true love were shown. Standing up for what one believes is top. Some scenes were hilariously comical that I had a good laugh. The characters portrayed their roles so well that I was carried away sometimes by emotion. More power to you out there!!
I am from Romania and I enjoyed every minute of each episode! It’s been a while since I haven’t seen such a good TV Show! Congratulations to the entire team! You did a great job! The actors are all very good and the soundtracks are divine! If a movie can make you rewatch it and never get bored, this is what a good movie is all about! I am definitely going to buy the DVD from Amazon! Hopefully, you will make another movie as good as this!

(Parents interference , and class and status can lead to so much unnecessary suffering,) This though for many is a TRUE life story. The fashions were wow, Season 5 is currently on in Spanish, Looking forward to seeing it in English. Thanks Netflix
im from australia just started watching this series and loving it.i thought to myself wowww there was great fashion back then the dresses were so classy and elegant now days clothings are made out of half meter fabric that barely covers anything and they call it fashion,no one cares about style/ fashion anymore its more like more skin you show the better.

Yes, that was disappointing he was only in the last two episodes. Miguel Angel Silvestre was filming Sense8 so he was only able to be in the last two eps of this final season which I think really made this last season feel flat overall. There will be a Velvet spinoff but will not feature all the characters from Velvet. The new spinoff is called Velvet Collection

Supongo que es porque viendo el exito que está teniendo querrán vender los derechos a otros paises para que puedan emitirla en sus respectivos canales. Lo mismo nos pasa a nosotros con las series extranjeras. Eso, a no ser que la busques en alguna web, que seguramente la habrán subido para la gente que vive fuera.
Espero que en España para la su próxima serie , busquen actores serios y comprometidos no que los mandan por 5 años a que se encuentren consigo mismos , y nadir regresa nunca es pura falta de respeto al público pura estupidez

Really bummed I can never watch Spanish language shows because it’s spoken so crazy fast for us English language speakers. You can barely get through reading the current subtitle before the next scene….and there’s usually so much eye candy. 😔
Haha! That speaking speed only happen when the movie production tries to be realistic, when they allow reality to invade the movie dialogs. In this case is the low class and rural born personages who speak at flash speed. The personages and the actors are from Madrid and its surrounding areas, some are from the rural regions, from Northern Castilla, where Spanish was born 1100 years ago. The language in those regions has been tuned up to such a degree in rhythm, entonation and threading that people can utter a high density of concepts in a very short time. In Hispano América we are amazed about it, and take us some time to adapt, we need to concentrate to pick up the dialogs.
This season 4 is so wrong made how can not even his best friend Mateo know about Alberto for so many years what type of friends is Mateo that now even too his best friend call him and tell him how hes been is not like if he was hiding from society because he was waiting letter to Anna as Philip Ray so if she would have gotten the letter she would have know he alive it just dosen add up of how he keep away so long and the only explanation is tĥat he is an selfish person and this love story has only be Anna but alberto obviously has had other women i. His live ..He sleep with Cristina to have her as a women since he found her attractivebut did not plan to marry her just use her mo et then .he married Cristina and hurt her after Anna did not want to marry as a secret and sleep with Sara after Anna did not want to leave with him and leave carlos and then he does all this show of leaving just because Anna decided not to be with him because he sleep with sara and did not tell her he is just an ass whole and dosent deserve to have nor Anna nor Cristina

En realidad no cancelaron la serie, se terminó con la cuarta temporada. Según las críticas en España, terminó muy pero muy bien.
