The Mets took a major step backwards if Arizona wins tonight the Mets are knocked out of the Wildcard spot just like that !.. We have discovered once again that if the Mets don't hit or put runs up they don't win... First or all im tired of seeing Tylor Megill get rid of him already how many chances are you going to give this guy he can't get out of the 4th inning he leaves the ball right over the plate. Quintana same thing ! Peterson is inconsistent so the Mets basically need to score 6 or 7 runs to win !.. Why didn't we go after Blake Snell when he didn't sign with the Padres is beyond mind boggling !
Please stop making excuses. The METS' starting staff is poor. Staryers run out of gas between the 4th and 6th inning and then everything crumbles. STEARNS has his work cut out for him. Plus the bullpen is so-so and even DIAZ has been shaky.
Bruh the whole staff is garbage every day the bullpen needs to get 12 outs. Theres no one in the pen that makes yoy feel comfortable unless we have a 3 ir 4 run lead in the ninth

Not quite "daddy" when you split the Series 2 - 2...AND in three series this year, Mets won one, Braves won one and this series was split...more like twin brother than "daddy" @ 5 - 5 on the season...but maybe Braves can sweep next time and can adopt the METS as their "daddy"...lol
