    Thank you for putting this tutorial together. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the SEWtember sewalongs and hope they will become an annual event.

      Thank you Janine, glad you found them useful. I will be sure to pass that on to Akram, I'm sure she'll be excited to bring it back next year. Thanks for watching.

    Going to try this t-shirt, I have such narrow shoulders so may need to fix it, yours looks great.

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  5 лет назад

      Brenda, I do as well and I found I didn't need to do my slopping shoulder or gapping neck adjustment. So, give it a try in a wearable muslin fabric.

      Thanks so much! I'm happy the grading worked for me on this one and I didn't have to do a FBA....saved additional time - LOL! Thanks for watching.

    Your T shirts both are great fits! Wonderful sew a long. Andrea's you tube channel is one of my go to's. 😉 I also have some spotted polyester fabric and I think making this pattern might be the perfect practice garment .

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  5 лет назад

      Yes, use your fabrics that's aren't all that great, but you can still wear. I love the idea of a wearable muslin and since this is so simple, if you mess up it wouldn't be a huge loss if you had to recycle the muslin. Thanks for watching.

      I can totally see the Plantain being hacked in many different looks. I'm going to get some nice Cotton knit and make me some pajamas, which I'm excited about. Thanks so much for watching.

    Great Tutoria Nateida, Ive been thinking about this pattern for as long as I have been sewing. I think needing to grade it up puts me off, but it is a lovely pattern!

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  5 лет назад

      Trust me, watch Andrea's video. This pattern is only 4 pieces and once you do it you'll think to yourself "that wasn't bad at all". You should definitely give it a try. Thanks for watching.

    Wow your grading looks super professional. You really got the perfect fit. I have this pattern and need to make it. Lovely tutorial. I’m a huge fan of the twin needle, but some fabrics don’t like it.

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  5 лет назад

      The whole twin needle thing is just ME...the time to set it up and get the tension and stitching right I'd rather just use a stretch stitch on the bottom - LOL! Andrea's tutorial on properly grading a pattern is really good and once I did it, it wasn't so bad. Thanks for watching.

    Great teaching, ND!👍I enjoyed seeing active sewing at the machine. Your tees are adorable. Hey - Mood still has a lot of cotton jersey for $4.99/yard...maybe grab some for your pajamas??😄

      I saw that....I checked the other night and saw they had some - LOL!. I will have to pick some up soon before the sale ends. LOVED the ones you bought. Thanks for watching.

    Great video. I love this pattern, I have made two so far and plan more I have lengthened the pattern to make it a tunic.

    • @SewNaturalDane

      Oh, I bet a tunic would also be super cute, great idea! It's such an easy sew, so I can see me making plenty more of these. Thanks for watching.

      Hey Retia, I'm using the Brother SE400. It's my backup machine and not a workhorse like my main machine (which is in the shop right now), but it gets the job done. Thank you always for your lovely compliments.

    Thank you for the tee shirt tutorial and the entire series of Sewtember Sewing. Please continue it each year.
    What problems did you have with the twin needle? I love the twinned needle look and have conquered most of the problems I encountered with it.

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  5 лет назад +1

      Lynn, the twin needle debacle is user error - LOL!. I just don't have the patience to get the stitching right and tension, so by the time I fuss with that I figure I can be done already hahahah. So it's really just me :0)

    Your T looks terrific on you. Do you think some of the Fabric Mart ITY cute knits would work for this T? I still have a few hanging around and would like to use them for something.

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  5 лет назад

      Yes, absolutely I think a ITY would definitely work for this Tshirt and that is actually a great idea. I need to see what ITYs I have remnants of that would work for this. Thanks for watching.

    Would it be possible to lengthen the sleeve to 3/4 length?

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  4 года назад

      Absolutely, i think that's very possible with this pattern. If you already have a 3/4 sleeve pattern match it up to this sleeve pattern and lengthen it. That may work.

    • @TheWanderingSewist
      @TheWanderingSewist 4 года назад +1

      @@SewNaturalDane I don't have one and I'm a very beginner to sewing garments. This will be my first!

    • @SewNaturalDane
      @SewNaturalDane  4 года назад

      You can extend the lines of your sleeve to reach 3/4 length. Kind of hard to explain in writing but hope that helps.
