I love how the bondage represents the trauma bonds in a toxic relationship. And how both of them feed into the negative energy of the "gemini feed" to the snake in the middle. Such a beautiful representation. One of the best videos I've seen with so much symbolism.

Banks is a Gemini, and her ex was a Gemini as well. Their similarities, and especially flaws and faults, were feeding on each other and they were becoming worse for it.

Something of that nature, Gemini's are known to be shallow and cold, Banks is aware of the relationship she is in but she lets it persist because she feeds off of the feelings. So their relationship is feeding them (Gemini's).

I like how this video is so symbolic of the zodiac Gemini. Duality is mirrored twice- in the two dancers in white and black, and the blue vs red lighting. The dancers mirror each other's movements or one continues the other's movement from one shot to the next. There are real quick shots of the two tied to each other by what appears to be a web, and of course the yin& yang symbol at the end. It's so raw.
Then there's what appears to be the Gemini intellect, when she sits on the throne in a sterile setting free of the raw emotions, made to look like a snake. The shots of that same setup later in the darkness, with the eye and the electric globes glowing, showing her disturbed state of mind? The snake-like movements which convey a sliding from one angle to another. The song seems to be about two people who had problems that they could both relate to but not work on, and so kept feeding each other with their depression (opposed to two people who were actually similar in a positive way).

+Brianna James there's a difference between the connotation of "two faced" which is negative and the twins. The twins (which is representative of the faces in another term) means that there are two sides which are not I conflict, but in complement.
it's not about two-facedness, which is a highly simplistic way of thinking of it. It's about emotional complexity, to the point of being like two souls in one body. The concept is the yin-yang made human; one half powerful and raging, and another sober and solemn.

This song is a pure form of art!! The details are so brilliant!! I'll sum up the comments and mix them with my own assumptions too. The music video starts with High Priestess, which symbolically means inner wisdom, intuition, enlightenment, spiritual insight and etc. and she repeats these specific words:
“And to think you would get me to the altar
Like I'd follow you around like a dog that needs water
But admit it that you wanted me smaller
If you would've let me grow you could have kept my love”
Which means she's aware of the situation deep inside, but she can't break the chains yet. Then we see a reference to the “Black Swan” ( I'm not sure if it was inspired from that, it's just an assumption). I haven't watched the movie myself, but as much as I know, it's about self destruction, the main character gets involved in something she likes so much that, she destroys herself.
These two people, one wearing white, and the other wearing black represent the ying-yang energy: a Gemini person or two people in a relationship ( the victim and the abuser).
First assumption may be that, she's in a manipulative toxic relationship, in which she and her partner feed on each other's depression. And she's most likely the victim( the white dressed self) and the other one is the manipulator. But they're lying on a web, and if you notice, on the white side, there are some black ropes too, it may mean that she's getting consumed from the toxicity.
The second one is that, it may represent only one person and their unresolved dark self. As a Gemini, it's more relevant to the situation. She's fighting against her dark self to get free. As in the “Black Swan” reference, the black one is other side, that destroys her eventually. In this mv she wants to get away from the destructive self, she complains about it. As for the High Priestess, she may represent the “ Ego” from Freud theory, the priestess may be the one who chooses which side to be, or the one that sees the situation as a third person. It represents awareness, intuition, so it's calling out to her.
She's also pointing out the stereotypes people associate Geminis with, as for snakes, two-faced, but in reality, they're just unique and not understood by just anyone, hehe.
