I'd never seen this process done start to finish. Thank You for sharing it with us!
Brother, I'd like to see the other sleeves as well. This was very interesting.
Без мастера знающего как нужно все сделать ничего не получится. Отличная работа.
Fabricate a pulling plate to pull the sleeves in with the studs.Ive seen them with locators that go in the bores and dowels.
Did you make the block to 4th axis plate? We have the same Haas VF4
Getting it on proper🤘Very nice job.
You have removed all of the structure of the block it no longer has strength in the walls. Or am I missing something here.. Please explain
What boring head are you using?
MID?
Can you run a wet sleeve setup without a motor plate?
Nope. You have to go to a dry sleeve. Can still get the 427/434 cubic inch build out of it.
@wolverineengines6156 Thanks, I've been told 700 is the safe limit of the ls7 how far can I take it dry sleeved?
Nicely done ✔️
Thanks
Have you had any issues with these MiD sleeves? Seems as if there are stories about failed motors using these sleeves.
Have to run front and rear engine plates and not motor mounts or the block will twist!
@@wolverineengines6156 What about with an inline 4 cylinder motor rather than big V8? hp will be in the 6-700hp region.
I can't believe you are hammering those in on your expensive AND sensitive milling machine????
