~ Fr. Zechariah currently is the rector at Archangel Michael Orthodox Church in Pueblo, Colorado. He is the proprietor and writer at the well-known “Inkless Pen Blog,” at which, founded on the teachings of Orthodox Christianity, a wide variety of topics are addressed. Fr. Zechariah has translated from Russian into English some works by St. Dimitry of Rostov and New Hieromartyr Seraphim (Zvesdensky). (These translations are also available on his blog.) He is also the author and illustrator of St. Patrick, Enlightener of the Irish Lands (Conciliar Press, out of print) and illustrator of The Life of St. Brigid (authored by Jane G. Meyer). Fr. Zachariah has a Bachelors Degree from Kharkov State University (Ukraine), a certificate from Brownsville School of Ministry, and a Master of Divinity from St. Tikhon's Orthodox Seminary.

In many ways evolution was the first step toward transhumanism. It propagates the idea that we are ascending and moving forward toward a destination, rather than having fallen and returning through repentance. The logical conclusion of transhumanism is that we can take control of our “evolution” and fix the human condition as Fr Zechariah says, toward an ideal. An ideal which is necessarily presupposed and is inconsistent with the notion that we are randomly evolving. It’s very incoherent

Just found out that Father Lynch was in Pueblo, CO. Too bad he didn't come up tonight in Colorado Springs, to Holy Theophany.
Just a suggestion, maybe include the topic in the first part of the title. Most the time the video title just shows up as "[Interviewee name} on the Orthodox Ethos..." and I've got no idea what it's about.
The transhumanism movement has been around since at least the 1990s with the revival of the psychedelic movement, trance music and the invention of the internet

Dear Father Peter, i always enjoy your vlogs. However, I am a bit concerned. We went through a horrible time and many deaths caused by a virus. Which doxa o Theos was minor compared to the last pandemic. But i am surpised you seem to be an anti-vaxer. I do not know what the position of the church was as i am unfortunately in a place in the world far from our church. Please vlog about the debate of a Christian sacrifice for the better of public health verses individual choise now the worse of this virus is behind us.
Do you know you guys beat the drum constantly about the failure of any form of Christianity outside of orthodoxy. I’m neither one nor the other , I know lots of non Orthodox who deeply love the Lord and live exemplary lives . And I know Orthodox who are small minded and mean spirited. I don’t believe you can draw lines like that claiming to have a monopoly on the Spirit and the Truth . I love the Orthodox teaching but I can scarcely listen to the negative commentary on the non Orthodox. Incidentally it’s not true that they have no hope in Christ as the days grow ever darker .
