The album title is Golden which the name is actually inspired by jungkook’s nickname as the golden maknae who is able to do anything like literally he is so versatile (the nickname was given to him by Namjoon in their early days and it’s really cute and meaningful that his first album gonna be named like that) Anyways, I’m so excited for this release 💜

When I watched the teaser, that was all I needed to know this was going to be the type of song that it is. I literally paused it to message my friend like SEE WHAT IN 3D. Very JT 2000s/MJ vibes to me. Quite a few us as soon as the video opened were like... Usher New Flame bc the white stairs. Jack's deep ass voice in the back before his verse 🫠 so many didn't notice it. Jack did what needed to be done. Haply you liked his verse, a lot didn't. Can't wait got more lives of this and hopefully Jack joins. I had the same reaction like... drugs, sex, doing what to yourself like OKAYYYY Sir. Plus my Jam Republic Queens dancing for JK 💥so proud.

have you heard bts converse high? hobi raps about taking namjoons woman and loves to see the stars of her shoes which he can only see if the womans legs are up. and suga raps how he doesnt want his woman to wear converse cause theyre too hard to remove. in rms throw away he says he got a automatic d*ck. this is not the first time bts has talked about this subject its just the first time theyve been as explicit but tbh even in cypher 3 sugas verse he says he'll make you c*m both men and women from his tongue technology so like i get if you havent read all bts lyrics and havent seen all their music how it would be shocking but as a army who has seen all their music im not shocked its a subject just was slightly shocked it was jungkook but hes grown so. also i understand what you mean about "idol culture" but theres a very clear movement happening the last few years with idols and actors. many are pushing the limits especially now with global reach they dont need to only rely on korean audience so many are getting tattoos, dating publicly, cursing, making music about sex, smoking cigs publicly. especially hybe groups have been cursing a lot. bts really created a shift. also theres many groups who are taking control of their careers, signing better contracts, leaving their labels together as groups and making their own labels, suing their labels and winning. some idols even got married or had children. so while theres some pushback when you look overall at the state of the industry you can sense that theres somewhat like a union happening where all the idols and actors are just taking their lives and careers in their own hands and not caring what koreans think. it all started when jungkook started showing his tattoos openly in 2020/2021. then bts started cursing a lot more in their content, music and even casually on live streams, bts also said during their festa dinner they hate how the idol industry stops idols from maturing from the looks of it theyre not the only ones and since theyre all doing things to show theyre grown at the same time its changing the industry rapidly imo.
I haven't heard much from BTS solo projects or b-sides. I've been wanting to do a BTS deep dive for MONTHS but I just haven't had time (cuz there's sooooo much)! But next month after I'm settled in my new place, hopefully I'll be able to start! I do wanna hear more of what THEY have had to say in their music - I like that they're being authentic and saying real shit! It is still shocking to me! haha I definitely have seen and heard the shift in the idol industry in past years, and I do love that it's happening. I'm glad idols are being more themselves and companies are giving them space to do that. And also making better choices for themselves, too! They deserve to, especially with how hard they work and how much money they make these companies!!! I think it's still just so shocking to me everytime, cuz my first introductions to the k-pop industry were still so strict and idols would lose their entire careers and fandoms for any simple "mistake"... which was usually just living their lives and being human. I'm really glad to see the shift and I love the BTS has used their influence on the entire world to help that happen for other idols!
