you interpreted the dead body verse the same way I did. Lots of people interpreted differently and do not like it. the song is a bop and JK’s freak era is glorious 😂

i dunno why but whenever i hear jack's verse, i just laugh it off and find it hilarious, and not keep telling how trash it is. his voice suits the song and he served his part and hung up at the end

I find the people who were offended by Harlow's lyrics to be hypocritical. It's like, did you hear what Jungkook was saying before he came on to the song? The sexual references and innuendo were blatant, more blatant than Seven. Maybe people were still being delulu and JH made it more real, but I actually like his bars, it fits the song, which loosely is him singing about being in a long distance entanglement and very subtly touching on phone sex, but folks aren't ready to have that conversation.
I personally don't have a problem with the sexual stuff he said, I just think the verse kind of mid and also I don't like the line "I got you playing with yourself on camera", I think that could have a lot of connotations but other than that it's okay.
I think the song is fine as well, I'm more of a fan of the Still with you era, but that's just me👐🏽
Some people I think misunderstood because my mom for instance took part of it as being racist when I heard nothing racist

I think that people are turnt off by this because they automatically see this thinking it'll be the only thing about him and his solo career, they're like on autopilot. But it's nonesense, cause they know it's not true, especially those who follow BTS since their debut. He is a grown ass man who can talk about his sexuality as he pleases, and featuring Latto and Jack Harlow, and giving them carte blanche on their own lyrics, with just a general story to follow, tells us a lot about his openess on sexuality and I think it's a good thing. It's not the scandal y'all think it is, it really isn't.
You should also check out the other stuff he released after the MV. Like the Live Performance, dance practice and MV shooting sketch.

My issue is not with sexual innuendo - I think it's great.. go JK! I hate Jack Harlow's rap - it's the toxic one-girl, two-girl, etc. that pisses me off. No. Plus his verse is lame anyway (we spoiled by BTS rapline).
We are spoiled by the rap line, indeed. As an Army, I won't accept a random ass white dude who can't even string two coherent bars together on the same song as Bts. Harlow thought he ate, but the truth is, he destroyed the song. I won't take no for an answer.

I really don't care for such things. BTS as a whole, yes for their lyricism. However, for me, these are just enjoyable light hearted songs that I personally wouldn't dissect into.
