- Pastor Kyle Searcy continues the FAHOW "Shine: Living A Life That Matters In Eternity" sermon series with a powerful interview with 25-year-old Josh Miles and his father Willie Miles. On January 3rd Josh was rushed to the hospital after his temperature spiked to 106 degrees. His father says during the car ride to the hospital Josh lost consciousness, but Josh says he left his body and encountered hell and then heaven. When he finally reached the hospital and awoke doctors informed him he experienced a heart attack, stroke, and seizures.

Here and feeling like a horrible father. My Bible memorization is so weak I fear I wouldn’t be able to pray with authority and quote scripture as he did to bring his son back. I need to pray to God to heal the damage my worldly living has done to my brain. I wish I could embrace Joshua and his father and and thank them for living their lives as I should’ve been living mine. I can’t do anything about the wasted years of not absorbing the Word, but I sure can start today. Amen 🙏
This young man is telling the truth, I died of Ectopic pregnancy at the age of 24, I wasn't born again then, but I saw Jesus pleading to The Father telling Him to remember His(Jesus') blood that was shed. Jesus told The Father to give me another chance to repent. I woke up in hospital surrounded by doctors and nurses who were trying to resuscitate me. Truly Jesus intercedes for us hallelujah!!!!!

This is certainly true. I experienced a very similar experience in different aspect. Death is no longer a fear. My soul (also) left my body and I could see myself and others around me. My experience was of heaven with the feeling of serenity, complete purity, calm, and peace. A light so bright and warmth so unbelievable. You don't desire to come back to your body. It wasn't my time is what I felt. The light was incredible but I wasn't allowed to turn around to see any of what I was feeling. This all occurred so after the birth of my child. I also saw everything going on in the room i.e., the doctor, nurse, my then fiance, and my physical body. And behind the drawn curtains where two nurses were prepping and caring for my daughters immediate needs.

I knew I wasn’t crazy. During my pregnancy one night I had some excruciating pain and I was alone in my bed. I cried out to God I saw a light and a creature with eyes everywhere and wings just like he described. It was in the side of my bed it didn’t scare me. I felt calm and I felt like it was watching over me because something was in my house. I don’t know how long it was there but I fell asleep a few minutes later. I thanked God the next morning for getting me through that night and have been thanking him ever since.

This happened in my hospital room after I had to go back to the hospital for preeclampsia after having my son. I called out to Jesus, very very loud, begging him to save me because my blood pressure would not stay down. In the corner of my room, there was a light and it calmed me. I stopped crying and was smiling. It went away and the next morning my blood pressure was much better and I was able to go home to my baby!!! Thank you Jesus, I praise your name God 🙌🏾

I've been an atheist all my life. My parents separated when I was young, I was diagnosed with cancer at 18. Sexually assaulted last year. I always went to religious schools but found it so hard to believe. However, recently I have been listening to near death experiences. I have decided over the last 48 hours that I can no longer ignore the Almighty god himself. I trust and I believe. I thank him for everyday that I breath. Please pray for me, I'm so thankful for this awakening. AMEN.

This happened to me when I was 20 I'm 37 now, I lifted out of my body and I saw and felt the utter darkness and demons trying to grab me I just somehow knew I was in hell 😢 the hopeless feeling is worse than ANYTHING I have experienced here on this earth period, I was terrified, the fear would kill us alone on this earth hell is REAL I screamed JESUS and immediately saw a light and was taken out of that horrible place and was above the earth looking down and Jesus was beside me I couldn't look at him tho I just felt the love and peace no fear whatsoever

Lately I've been overwhelmed with a feeling of urgency to get right with God. Its been in my thoughts. I can just feel it. Pray for me that I make this right. Ive just forgotten how to talk to god
It woke me up to read your comment. In the last year or so I have had this sense of urgency as well. For about the past 5 to 7 years I have felt that the world is not the same anymore. Something is different, you can feel it in the air. And I have talked to people that are not even religious and they feel the same way! Maybe that sense of urgency is God telling us to get right and be serious about it because we are running out of time

Praise God! I died on the operating table. I went to heaven I was escorted by Jesus. My spirit left my body. I saw the doctor call code blue, I saw how the OR was filled with doctors and nurses. As Jesus escorted my to heaven I saw the roof of the hospital, I saw the roofs of houses and buildings, we entered the sky, space and then we entered heaven and before the throne of God. Before I know it I was bowed in front of Gods throne trembling and crying. I couldn't even stand in Gods presence if it hadn't been for Jesus reaching down and lifting me on my feet. He stayed on my right side the entire while. Even when he escorted me to heaven he was holding my right hand. I begin to cry and as soon as tears filled my eyes God wiped them away. They didn't even get a chance to roll down my cheeks. I mean as as the tears welled up in my eyes God wiped them away. Jesus was my Lawyer and God was the judge. I felt such condemnation and begin to confess all of my sins to God and with each confession Jesus would lovingly say to me and to God that's why I died for you so that you could be forgiven. I'd confess another sin and Jesus would look at God and say but You sent me to die for her so that she can live with me forever. No matter how bad I cried or talked about myself and what a bad person that I was. God would wipe my tears from my eyes and Jesus would lovingly justify me. The light around Gods throne was so bright that I couldn't see Him. Everytime I tried to look at Him or Jesus who was standing on the right of me the brightness of the light wouldn't allow me to look at them. Long story short Heaven is real...One more thing when God said that it wasn't my time to die, He sent my spirit back into my body and I woke up crying and praising God. A nurse was crying with me and she said baby you have a right to praise God.
I told the doctor that I died and he got really made at his staff and said I told you guys not to tell her anything that happened. I said they didn't I seen everything I seen when I coded and how you guys worked on me. My doctor was a believer and when I shared with him my outer body experience he believed me. Praise God that I am still here and sharing my testimony. All praises and all glory belongs to God.
God is good he wants you to share this encounter like this young man to everyone as much as possible. Today is the time to get it right with God so we do not get condemned before the judgment day. Jesus I humbled before your holiness 🙏

Don’t belive these false testimonials because what they’re saying isn’t biblical or found in the Bible. the Bible teaches that the dead are in their graves waiting the first or second resurrection.
Don’t pretend to know everything and judge others by it. There is not one soul on this earth that has the truth; we all have snippets of it and that’s it. The speaker shared his experience. He didn’t sell a specific doctrine or claim to have all the truth. His testimony is one that reminds people to come out of self and into God. That is not a false doctrine that will take people to hell. Truth does not save us, love does. Demons know more truth than humans do; even the Bible is only snippets of knowledge interpreted differently by millions of people and thousands of interpreters.’

People do not go to heaven or to hell at death. They don’t go anywhere-but they wait in their graves for the first or second resurrection. He’s preaching a false doctrine.
The worst thing that can happen to a person is not death, but dying without accepting Jesus. Eternity matters!

The word Hades has a number of different meanings in the New Testament.
1. The Grave - The Place Of Bodily Decay
2. The Place Of The Punishment For The Wicked
3. Possibly As A General Term For The Unseen Realm Of The Dead
Hades is always connected with death, never with life. The context will determine its meaning. It does not refer specifically, or exclusively, to the place of punishment. Like Sheol, it is an intermediate place - it never refers to the place of final punishment.
Gehenna, literally translated as "Valley of Hinnom", is a small valley in Jerusalem. In the Hebrew Bible, Gehenna was initially where some of the kings of Judah sacrificed their children by fire. Thereafter, it was deemed to be cursed. In rabbinic literature, Gehenna is also a destination of the wicked.
No one gets tormented for eternity after Christ's returns or at the the end of the millennium.
Whosoever's name is not found in the Book of Life at the Great White Throne of Judgment of God at the end of the millennium, will be put into the Lake of fire and destroyed.
Here God is talking to satan about the time from before (we were in spiritual bodies):
Eze 28:16
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
And here at the end of the millennium with the Lake of fire:
Eze 28:18
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
We know that even satan will not be tormented for eternity. He will be destroyed from within.
(Which means that many are not understanding the Greek in Rev 20)

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Heb 2:14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
And we know from these scriptures who the devil is:
Rev 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
Also:
Many people misteach this verse:
Rev 14:11
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Did that say that they were tormented for eternity? No
It said *the smoke of their torment"...... ascendeth up forever
The word 'ever' there in the Greek is 'aion' and it means a period of time.
There is an acrostic in Psalms that gives us more insight into this.
Psa 37:7
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Psa 37:20
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
(Consume here in the Hebrew is (H3615), please look it up. It means they are completely done/gone/destroyed)
As the fat of lambs
What happens when you have a lamb on a spit? The fat drops off into the fire and the smoke rises up forever and ever.
Psa 37:34
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
During the millennium, that fire is the Holy Spirit. It can warm your heart or God can crank it up if needed.
All will be taught during the millennium. For those that don't make it to be with Christ at this time, it won't be a

Most will be refined, purged etc. God is always fair.
If you think about it, when a person dies in the flesh, he will have total recall.
He will remember ALL he did in the 1st earth age AND in this age.
As an example:
One will remember all the things he did against God and the terrible things he said against God/Christ.
Then when he see's that Christ and God DO exist, he will be totally ashamed, humiliated and humbled!!!
This will be a great motivator for them to pull their head out and get with the program.

If you are so upset that you are clamping down your teeth, as if you're thinking, "Noooooooo".
This is gnashing of teeth. It denotes extreme anguish and utter despair.
This testimony gave me chills. I died twice & my Spirit left my body. I was able to see what was going on bc I was above my body. In the blink of an eye, it was pitch black and another blink of an eye I saw white, bold words flying across what appeared to be a movie screen. Somehow I knew to ask God, what was it & what did it mean? He answered in a loud audible voice that it was the story of my life. I tried to read the words (I couldn't bc they were flying by so fast) I asked what was it bc I still couldn't figure it out. In the blink of an eye, the white words and the movie screen disappeared and a GRAND, MOST BEAUTIFUL LIGHT appeared. I was afraid bc I instantly knew what that was. It was the light to take me to Heaven. I was thinking don't go toward the light, my life was over. Somehow I knew what it meant even in my state of unconsciousness. All of a sudden I was back and the Emergency Room staff was rushing me down a long hallway to emergency surgery. I could hear something but it seemed so far away. I didn't realize I was hearing voices. The voices were so far away at first. It sounded muffled, I couldn't figure the words out and I couldn't speak. Then the voice started getting closer. II woke up bc I was extremely cold. My mom met us in the room where they were going to prepare me for surgery, I started telling her don't let them do surgery bc God already showed me that I wasn't going to make it bc I had already died and I saw the whole thing. I don't remember anything else for a while after that. When I woke up again I told my Mom the whole story. I found out that they had lost me twice, my heart had stopped twice. I contacted a lawyer when I was released & had recovered. He obtained my medical records. Thats when I found out what happened to me. The hospital had mistakenly given me too much Demerol. They incorrectly converted the dosage, gave me enough to sedate 3 horses and my body couldnt take it. Idk if they gave me meds to reverse it or not but they made a decision to do surgery. If my Mom had not questioned why they decided to do surgery & told them they could not do the surgery, I believe they would have made it seem like I died during surger... but it really was bc they made a huge medical mistake. I was a healthy 27 yr woman that went to the hospital for a pain in my back. I almost came out in a body bag. God is real, the light is real, how u live your life & your heart for ppl and righteousness is real. God has blessed me to still be here after 30 yrs. Ive had minor issues with my heart periodically, to this day Dr's ask if I've ever had Congestive Heart Failure or has anyone ever mentioned it? I always answer by asking why do they ask? I know why bc I only have small issues with my heart but God spared my life, it's a Miracle that I'm still here! I'm a Miracle! God bless us all

I experienced the abyss while praying to Jesus, and a demon was taking me away from God all the while. It wasn't until I questioned WHO was taking me that I realized it was Satan, and not God! I experienced heaven. The same thing he said. The brightest light but I could still see and didnt have to squint my eyes. It was the brightest white light ever. I felt like I won a super bowl, nba championship, I felt the happiest I ever felt, no pain (which I was really sick at the time) theres nothing on earth that can give you the feeling. There is only one place of safety, one place of salvation, the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ that paid the full penalty for all our sins. Jesus loves you and wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him. But that cannot happen unless you are born again.
So first admit that you are a sinful creature, like we all are. Then believe that Jesus is who He says He is: fully God and fully man. He came to earth and lived a perfect, sinless life. He shed His blood on the cross to pay the penalty for all your sins, past, present and future sins. For the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness, no matter what you have done! He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
All you have to do is believe that. Believe it by putting one hundred percent of your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, without adding in any of your own good works or being good. That won’t help! It has nothing to do with belonging to any church or practicing any religion.
The moment you believe is like a personal encounter in your heart between you and God himself where you tell Him you believe, where you call on His name. For the Scripture says: All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The moment you believe you are born again, you are saved. You receive the Holy Spirit who will indwell you forever. Because salvation is eternal you can never lose it.
So I hope you believed because the alternative would be to spend eternity in hell, paying for your sins.

I can testify that what he saw is true. I was the victim of 2 attempted murders, during my second 12 people beat me with baseball bat's, dislocated my entire jaw and put cigarettes out all over my chest and neck leaving me in an alley thinking I was dead but I was actually at the waiting space looking down at my little body. I started to get scared realizing I might be dead so God allowed me to hear my wife talking to my daughter in her crib to calm me down. As I finally accepted my fait I woke back up in the hospital. I couldn't remember my wife for 2 weeks and it took me 4 years to finally understand what God showed me.

I asked to see a rose if something is true then I saw we have a rose bush at my new house and set the rose on my bible without thinking about it then I looked up angel wing drawings and rose pictures were mixed in and I looked later and they were gone and the same thing happened when I looked up guardian angel

There is only one place of safety, one place of salvation, the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ that paid the full penalty for all our sins. Jesus loves you and wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him. But that cannot happen unless you are born again.
So first admit that you are a sinful creature, like we all are. Then believe that Jesus is who He says He is: fully God and fully man. He came to earth and lived a perfect, sinless life. He shed His blood on the cross to pay the penalty for all your sins, past, present and future sins. For the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness, no matter what you have done! He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
All you have to do is believe that. Believe it by putting one hundred percent of your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, without adding in any of your own good works or being good. That won’t help! It has nothing to do with belonging to any church or practicing any religion.
The moment you believe is like a personal encounter in your heart between you and God himself where you tell Him you believe, where you call on His name. For the Scripture says: All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The moment you believe you are born again, you are saved. You receive the Holy Spirit who will indwell you forever. Because salvation is eternal you can never lose it.
So I hope you believed because the alternative would be to spend eternity in hell, paying for your sins.

I'm a 71 yr old grandma. What Josh experienced is what I can reiterate.
At age 31 I encountered Him after going into a coma during a hysterectomy. I went into a pitch black tunnel and at the end of it He stood there calling me. I felt respect, a deep desire to love and honour my GOd. He was bathed in the most illustrious light and surrounded by the most lush green ferns. Like Josh I had no connection with my husband, children or anybody just Him. He was a young, handsome fit, man dressed in the whitest robe ever. He asked me if I wanted to come with HIm and I immediately said yes Lord. He smiled and said now is not the time you have things to fulfil for me. My husband I started a church in South Africa which is thriving thereafter. I subseqeuntly migrated to Australia where I still serve Him. Thank you my Lord for your love and blessings over the years. My daughter and her husband are pastors so please pray for them. Thank you Josh for your testimony.

I struggled with those thoughts in the past. Just remember God loves and wants the best for you and those thoughts are straight from the pit of hell. There’s something inside you that the enemy sees that he does not want it to manifest. But satan has no power, God is great and mighty to keep you, to protect you, and rescue you. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Find scriptures to combat those thoughts. In addition to that, get connected with other believers to help you pray and that will lift you up. Also, seek counseling. I love you sis, I declare peace over you and I will certainly send prayers up for you.

I always have a hard answer to someone who asks if God loves everyone why does he send people to hell? Answer: he doesn’t our decision on earth does, some may also ask if he loves us can’t he just show us the way when he comes to earth. If he did that then the people who did good on earth deserve what those that did wrong all their lives the same gift. Life is a test end earth is a gift that God watches and sees what we do with it, if we choose good over bad or if we choose to life our own lives with him and do the impossible with him and create legacy’s and families and spread love and peace. We have the choice of good or bad and those who choice bad without asking for forgiveness are choosing death
