I didnt think I really needed any more tools for sampling but I just tried serato because of all the hype and it's super dope. I kind of like it better than anything else I use now.

I just got ss and am wondering how you get the 16 chops to play on the 16 pads in maschine? Prob a simple answer but I can't figure it out
You have to go into keyboard mode and set the root pad to C1 and you should be good.

Does anyone know how to set up the drum pads for the Machine Micro Mk3 in Serato sample ? I only have 1 pad activated in which only plays the beginning of the song please help
You have to set it to keyboard and then change your root note to C1

Whats good DDS. Can you load Maschine sounds or loops, into serato sample ??? I tried to drag and drop but it will not allow this. But in logic I can drag and drop logics sounds and loops into serato.
I have a question. When I play the maschine by playing it in the logic, the notes are entered only in the maschine program, but not in the logic. I want to use maschine like vst. What should I do? Please answer me.

First thing, thanks for taking the time to teach us how to make wonderful music. One question, I am using Maschine MK2. I am wondering if you can show us how to play those pads full of the sliced sample in the step mode in order to make a bit. I know that one way way would be to finger drum, but I can't do that man. I just want to be able to make a beat out of my sliced sample (from serato sample) using the step mode. You are appreciated...

Whatever I create in serato sample and try to export as audio using maschine is super sped up...like a tape fast forwarding. Have you been able to export any of the audio?
I haven't had that problem but someone else asked me about it.

Hey man, I find your video very helpful as I am just starting out with Serato sample in conjunction with my maschine Mikro Mk3. I also have the NI S25 Komplete Kontrol. I was wondering, if I am making an intro and say I wanted to filter that sample and record it on Maschine while its playing in Serato Sample, how do you make it record the effect on Maschine. I am using Serato Sample as a VST plug in with Maschine but attempted to make an intro for a beat but the effect didn't take when I made it in song mode with my different patterns. Any advice or may an answer to my issue? Might be a noob question but you don't know if you don't ask I guess.
Will you be using the same sample throughout the song or just the. Intro?

When you load a song to Serato Sampler does it have to be in MP3 files? Can you can load audio files directly to Serato Sampler to convert them to wave files so it can load into maschine?

Maybe u just did that beat for informational purposes but it's actually fire. I never thought to flip that sample. The drum groove created the perfect t vibe for it. Need to shop that to Meghan the stallion or somebody.

How is ur routing? I only got all pads on the serato pad and can't do any changes to the pads except in serato itself
I need some clarification on what you’re asking, are you saying you can’t play the pads on Maschine?
@@DDS825 Nope, I can play them when I am in keyboard mode. But I can't add effects of machine on single sounds since they all seem to rest in serato sample on the first pad.

Can you do more than 16 chops in sera to?
Not to be loaded at once. You can hit the arrow and it will add more slices
who u happen to have a copy of maschine 1.8.2
for the set slicer and why it places the slice slightly to the left:
You have to set the first slice before you actually make it do the slicing. the reason its moving the slice point is because there is no slice set... even though your cursor is set to where you think the first slice should be set.
Facts I had to figure that out for myself lol but yeah that's how you fix that problem
How the hell can you filter out instruments from the sample in sweatpants?
i know how to loop if i play midi in to daw but how are you getting the slicer on serato sample to loop between cue points?
the other way to ask this is how do i loop in serato without looping in my daw?
You probably just have to loop it in your daw.

I have a Maschine Mk3 I'm thinking about buying Serato Sample. So as I've been becoming familiar with Serato Sample I'm asking myself "why buy it"? Seriously, I mean I see a couple things that it can do as easy or maybe easier than maschine, but are it's sampling capabilities enough to override any redundancies and justify owning both? Is it worth spending time learning to use it instead of using or learning to do the same thing with maschine? What am I missing in my early research?

The key, it automatically locks to tempo, it can chop random samples. It’s worth it to me! You know I love Maschine, but for me sampling in serato is better. Plus you can use mp3s instead of just Wav files

What do you mean by find the notes? The notes that were played in the original sample.
@@DDS825 yea....like converting audio to midi so you can see the notes played in a bass line, guitar lick or chords? I use maschine also but I dont know yet of a program that can convert the audio to midi or if this sampling programming in this video does it.
Deante Penny I’ve actually never converted audio to midi. I just find out the key it’s in and play around with it until it sounds like the sample.

@@elboogie2324 I'm using it in FL and when I drag a sample from my drop down menu in FL the sample won't drag over to Serato
@@almighty_rza8085 You have to open Serato Sample, and bring the sample directly into SS and not FL and then SS. Only thing going onto the FL track is the MIDI information.
