Wasnt there an accusation about a premier league manager the day before? Shouldnt speculate if these 2 are linked but seems a very strange sacking, something major must have happened.

It's only harsh because the remit he was given when he got the Bournemouth job was to keep them in the Premier League which he achieved. He has EVERY right to feel hard done by because realistically what MORE could he of done?
I kind of hope they go down next season now as it would serve them right!!

Foley is doing what he has done in Vegas. The Vegas Golden Knights have had 3 coaches in 6 years, including their current coach, Bruce Cassidy. What you are saying about Gary O’Neil is what we have said about Gerard Gallant. Gallant coached the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Finals in their first year, was nominated for the Jack Adams award for best coach. But the Golden Knights lost in the playoffs the following year, and he was out. This is what Bill Foley does, he doesn’t care about loyalty, he will make moves if he thinks they are going to make the team win. It seems to work, as the Golden Knights won the Cup.

Although it seems harsh probably a shrewd move by the club. We cannot stand still and the owners are thinking longer term, losing our last 4 games did Gary no favours. He did a great job for us, we avoided relegation, but we don’t want this fight every season so things had to change, time will tell if it was the right decision. Good luck to Gary for the future, he will do well elsewhere.

If they go down next season, this would go down as the worst premier league decision ever made.

Adoni Iraola is hired. That's part of the reason amongst strategy and stats and finance.

    B. just appointed Spanish coach Andoni Iraola, ex Rayo Vallecano who finished 11th last season with one notable win against Barca but otherwise nothing special...

The new manager is a darling of the football tactics community. Like De Zerbi. He's the kinda guy Pep will say glowing things about in his press conferences.
