As a Solution Architect, I found this post extremely helpful to understand Integration Patterns and how to use one over the other. The demo was great as it allowed me to see a working solution. The presentation was spot on and the commentary by Jit was paced well. It will be in my watch again videos. Aug 2020
Jitendra and Amit , You both are doing awesome jobs .. While watching, I forgot to forward this video which I keep doing in other cases.... Thank you all ....
most educational and what i loved in this video is questions and answers - every question asked is from real time usage and practical scenario questions
Would be nice if there was a session about such enterprise architecture designs.. How to build a global system that supports local processes as well - like sending data to a system only for a certain country..
for the genysis system question why use platform ervent and publish case id. Instead cant we use change data capture or outbound message. Using CDC we can send all of the case information in one go and the external system wont have to query the case again from saelsforce.
Java applications can directly subscribe to platform events published from salesforce by help of cometd library. Mulesoft is not mandatory in this case in think
Btw i always struggle when it comes to Orchestration in integration. Should SF do orchestration or is it Middleware? Should I follow the rule - which ever system needs the data should get it (instead of it being pushed to them)? What about then almost building the same api logic/business rule in every new system that needa the data.. How much logic should Middleware have if it has to do orchestration

The bulk API should be used if we are dealing with 5k records or 50k records?
Excellent

I think that calling an external API in a trigger should be avoid, I don't believe that someone should consider it as an option.
Great Session
