It always amazes me what ends up abandoned and set for demolition these days. Two well-constructed homes are sitting empty, all because a developer wants to build more townhouses. Interestingly, both houses are radically different from each other. The first was built in the 1970s and has sat unchanged since the day it was constructed. The second home is modern and was built in 2003, making it only 21 years old! Today we venture inside the modern home. Originally owned by a well-off family, this home resembles what most people want in a house in today's age. Featuring tall ceilings, a beautiful staircase, and large rooms, its unbelievable that this home has been demolished.

SO DO I!!! Being part Native American, we tend to get furious at the raping and pillaging of our once-beautiful open land!!
Developers don't become wealthy by NOT tearing down perfectly good, usable structures and replacing them with MORE structures that will ALSO likely be torn down in 15 or 20 years.....all in the name of progress.

@@jamescarrington5521 I grew up in a county who never met a developer it didn't like. So many farms got sold off and torn up. The open spaces disappeared. By the time I moved from there, out was all concrete, strip malls, and cheap, ugly houses.

They were so oddly close to each other on that piece of land. My only concern is the quality of the new builds. They definitely don't make anything to last these days. What a shame. I'm glad you caught it. When I saw that kitchen, part of me died! That's my dream kitchen 😢😢😢

I get why thay left now, LOL

    Hi Noah
No we will not demolish you. But seriously a house that is only 21 years old gets
demolished. That should be a crime. They had some beautiful chandeliers in
that home. Glad to see they were repurposing stuff so it won’t get demolished.
These money hungry developers come in and by a house only to destroy it, that
makes no sense. They should let homeless veterans live there. I think they all
earned and deserve it. That basement was creepy. I think they are creepy when
they are not finished. That kitchen was huge. Sorry you had to endure the smell
of the fridge.🤮. You did a good job showing us around this house. It’s sad to think that it has been demolished Thank you for the tour Noah. Stay safe and well.👍🆒
From Long Island, New York where it is Independence Day here and I can hear all
the fireworks going off all around. Makes for a noisy night. July 4, 2024.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Usual in most abandoned homes the sump pump is located in the basement in a closet or in a small cold storage area and when explorers try going into the basement it flooded due to the power being cut.

What a beautiful home. Its a shame they are tearing it down just to build cookie cutter condos.
The number of built in features is awesome. They are logical which isn't always the case. Those mantles are very nice. The magnitude of that kitchen! Plenty of room for more than 1 cook. The solid door between the living area and kitchen is a great idea.
Im amazed in the upgraded features no space was unlooked. The etched shower doors could come live in my house if nobody wants to remove them. Its sad that place is going down. Someone put a lot of thought into every detail.
