I watched Faker's stream. He didn't report him. He was pretty chill and cool as cucumber even though Bausffs kept dying. Faker was actually positive throughout the game.

He didn't get banned, just account got locked for security reason. Also Faker didn't even report him. The only thing he said was "Sion could have played that better" something like that. But he didn't even get mad at him.

This kind of thing happened to the Finnish shen 1 trick, forgot his name. Was trying new build and ended up running it down. Account got locked for suspicious activity. Seems for high elo Rito will lock the account for unusually poor performance in game as a preventative measure to someone actually stealing the account and losing all its LP/griefing high elo games. Say if the player performs worse than in 99.99% of their games, they may go ahead and make the account owner confirm it's not stolen to be safe. A lot of stats are gathered to calculate MMR and other metrics for game balance (lol), not an entirely impossible speculation.

This game was really unfortunate. I watched it live in Neme's twitch and there were so many unlucky moments as well as all the counter picks. But they played incredibly well cause even tho they were down like 20 kills or so they kept the gold diff close.

As much as I like Baus, he was gapped hard in the top lane in this game. He didn't do anything significant compared to his other games. The tier two towers were all still up. Well played, Kennen.

I still can't figure out why he didn't go HB this game, or even tank. Kennen struggles into a lot of sidelaners in the mid-late, and if you live through his R on tank or bruiser, you just auto win.

I think baus was trying to impress. Never seen him die carelessly that many times. Maybe it was also not knowing the Kennen match up that well. Those early deaths really crippled him. Should find out a way to adapt when that happens.
They locked his account due to account sharing. I believe they thought he was boosted because its hard to believe that someone dying that much can be challenger.
I've only seen the short version of this game from Baus view and the guy was so excited about playing with Faker I think it made him super nervous and shaking. When he has an easy win he ends up with 9-10 deaths, ofc when he has a poor game it seems to be a legit inting.

I feel like buying a dark seal (for ap tops) and a cull against this strategy is pretty smart. This way Kennen gets extra AP every time the Baus dies, no matter how little gold the kill is worth.

I don't think so. However, if I had some random guy in my game playing like this, I would definitely report him. If you don't know his (Baus) playstyle this game simply looks like he is inting.

No lol. Sometimes 2-18 sion can do way more than 20/0 ezreal. After all its not like team with highest amount of kills win. Team that destroy enemy nexus win. If this 2/18 sion would push basically every turret in the game i would kiss him in the ass.

The Faker incident
I think what sent Baus' teammates over the edge (not faker or even nemesis) was the Kennen team-wiping them in that last fight. I mean the Kennen was fed the whole game, but by 40 minutes almost everyone would be full build or nearly there in that elo. Tbh I think babu accomplished his job, but the other team just scaled harder into late game, Ez and Kennen specifically.
Basically he prolly log inned on a different place(setup/internet idk) and went 2/17 something his usual kda. So riot thought someone stole his account and was intentionally ruining it, hence the lock.
So soothing voice, this is so relaxing
I was watching this game live on Nemesis' stream and after he died a couple times in bot i turned it off and missed everything else including the ban ;_;

This is the most I have seen to date Baus getting destroyed. Even that match against TFBlade's Camille wasn't so disastrous for him. And the fact he still managed to do this much speaks volumes about his perseverance.

I feel bad for Faker, he tried so hard, saved the game multiple occasions, still couldn’t overcome the weight of int sion. But tbh the game was pretty close, if Nemesis landed ult bit more in a couple of those team fights it would be an easy dub, quite unfortunate.

Looking at all the Blind Q's Faker sniffed out he was playing far too well and focused to be mad about about Baus' play xD - That man has Worlds on his mind
I know that first death looks bad but honestly it's good. Due to wave changes and sion nerfs sion can't shove those waves in and easily gets ganked while your opponent freezes. Death is inevitable and sion protects a tower better then an Anivia. So right now he looks like he dropped 300g but he was going to just because of champion design and the way the game benefits dash champions. Now he gives 300g but guarantees he won't be behind 400-500. And catches up with a cool 100g krug recover. Plus a cs league which usually is over a kill itself. And the next time you die, which you will you'll be worth less but thsoe gains are still there. A second mistake was going lethality not realizing his play style is very easily abused by Keenan, bauff definitely is playing more nervous then normal
Best part of early death is you instantly revive after you get out of passive. I suicide early because it's faster then recall lol
That first death guarantees that Kennen can't freeze the wave and definitely isn't bad, going lethality here is risky and definitely could have worked but all the plays he tried making came up a tiny bit short

Glad to hear Baud didn't actually get banned for this game, that would just be ridiculous. BUT he definitely griefed, a couple tp's into deaths immediately, 2-18 kd and literally made it impossible for Faker actually smurfing on everyone to carry. Yeah, if it were me, he's getting a report lol but Faker is better than that. Also with Baus and Nemesis having 34 deaths combined, the fact that if Faker lives and how he defended like 4 times, that the game could've gone their way is insane. Actual 1 vs 9 almost got the DUB.
I agree that the bausffs strategy and play is respectable and smart and it works obviously because he got challenger but I personally think that it's ban worthy because of the fact that these players who use this strategy don't care that much they die which is fine if they're good deaths but when they're not it's thay much more tilt worthy for your team when they can't win because the enemy team is that much more fed from your inting play style that they wouldn't be if it was a top laner that was trying his/her best not to die in lane
