    I love that you have a Vulcan, too. I got a 2008 Vulcan Nomad 1600

      Sadly I no longer have that bike. I’ve moved to a Suzuki VStrom

    Thanks for posting. I just got the Oxford Heaterz Premium for Cruisers and I'll be installing it on my 2005 Vulcan 1500 Classic FI when I have the time.

      Cruisn Canada What bike do you ride now? You're in Ottawa? I have relatives there and will be visiting this summer, know of any good roads/twisties in the area?

      DISHES On2wheels my wife and I both ride Suzuki V-Stroms. I have a DL1000 and she's on the DL650. There are definitely some decent curvy roads in the area. When are you visiting Ottawa?

      Cruisn Canada ah, you went for sport touring. I almost got a bandit 1250. I'm coming up from Toronto in a car at the end of June. I'll likely ride my bike to Ottawa another time in July/Aug.

    Thank for sharing, now I have an idea installing it on my 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 classic LT. Have a safe and fun ride always 👍🏍

    For the right grip (brake side), it goes on loosely and sticks out a bit more than the left (clutch side). the only thing holding it on is the glue. I got 2 tubes of super glue in the premium package. I'll use most/all of 1 tube just for the right grip I guess.

    Would the install be the same for a vulcan 2000, the grips look identical

      I would think it would be the same, if not very close.

    Thanks for this video. I'm in central Pa, U.S. It was a tossup between these and heated gloves. If they keep a Canadian's fingers warm, they ought to do mine. Had no idea about install. Did not imagine it was so simple. forgot to ask. were you able to reuse your throttle lock?

    • @gregtoope
      @gregtoope  4 года назад +1

      58gennaro not a crazy hard install. Just a bit of time.

    • @gregtoope
      @gregtoope  4 года назад +1

      And I didn’t get to reuse my throttle lock. Ended up getting a different style. Have a new bike now so going to end up doing this all again this spring.

      @@gregtoope Thanks for the reply. A throttle rocket was recommended to me. I didn't use the lock much anyway.

      @@58gennaro yeah I didn't use mine much either, but I did replace it with a throttle lock that just rests on the brake lever. Works fairly well.

    Hi. I know its old video and thanks for it. I will install my grips today. But I have other question (if you are still here) .I have huge problem with buffering on my Road Star. Seen you are using lower deflectors. Any chance to tell me the size of them please? Cheers and happy riding

      Jiri Mojak if I still had that bike I would tell you. Ride a different style bike now. But the lowers definitely helped for sure. Not sure of the size.

    Did you use glue to install the thorttle handle? It doesn't hold well on my motorcycle.

    Right so i don't know if anyone can help me with this but i ride a honda shadow 750 ace with the front indicators mounted on the end of my handlebars.. I would totally LOVE to have these grips but: Can i remove the end caps of the oxford grips so i can keep my indicators or do i have to replace them to the front of the bike in order to install the grips?
