The human mind amazes me. In a mere fraction of a second, upon first glance of the title, my mind misread "handcrafted" for "handcuffed". In that same fraction of a second, I instantly became excited, thinking Chris was performing an escape from some device. By the time that second ended, I was disappointed that my brain had gotten myself excited just to be disappointed 😆 Chris does amazing work nonetheless. I have always enjoyed his videos. Clean, crisp yet fluid, therapeutic, entertaining & informative, the list goes on.
Chris: “I actually think the cat may lock you out of the puzzle if you play with it too much” Also Chris: Immediately starts to fiddle with and maneuver the cat! 😂🐈
Being outside for this video makes it that much better. Being able to enjoy nature while working on a puzzle or even just sketching in the book. It's being in your own world.
I don't know what's better, seeing you solve one big puzzle or three smaller ones. I always like seeing the Karakuri puzzles; they're always cute and intriguing. Thanks for another great video!
I really can't think of other word to describe this video but absolute delight. The way you combined the "usual" solving the puzzle parts with those cinematic and relaxing shots.. and of course, there's always something special about the Ramsay X Karakuri crossovers. I can feel how you like them. Instant favourite
The perfect break from my day starts with Chris Ramsey working on a puzzle or allowing us into his magical world with a trick!! Thank you for making our days better! The crastmanship of the wooden puzzles is amazing!
Love this chris.. enjoying you embracing what/where and how you want to make videos.. you are a pleasure to watch and listen to - keep being your creative self..
Absolutely gorgeous puzzles! 💜 There is something truly satisfying about Japanese woodworking... the craftsmanship is second to none & you just know that when you put the puzzle box back together it will look as immaculate as when you first opened it. That last one is so incredibly clever, though they were all beautiful in their own right... I have several puzzle boxes that I bought in Japan and there's just _something_ about the elegant simplicity in their design that's both intellectually stimulating & emotionally calming. Thanks so much for sharing!
Your videos have gotten so much better over time! Explaining your thought process behind the steps you are taking, describing the tactile sensations as you go, and slowing down your moves when you have a break through so we can follow have improved the experience greately! Thank you! ❤
As a leather worker I can tell you that those notebooks look hand stitched and that is some time to get that done. that with tooling done for the "1st" means this took some time and skill. They look great.
3:10 Actually, it reminds me more of Hanna Barbera's 'Frankenstein Jr.'; which of course is not to be confused with Mel Brooks' 'Young Frankenstein'. 😂😂😂
awesome vid! happy to see you happy. sunshine is good for the mind/body/soul. i do a lot of my vids outdoors in the summer. it's about time i get that going again! you're a constant inspo. keep up the good work
Really really like this video. The shots and angles are perfect. The editing is perfect. The outside grassy back ground is such a good vibe! And so relaxing in a way. I like all the sets you do honestly. You seem to go above and beyond for the introduction of the shows. Thanks for all you and your teams work and the content! 🤙✌️
Good early-thirty Chris..(meanng it's before the crack of dawn 😁) Here's something to think about...as an elder..71..and childless.. I'm in a unique position to wonder what to buy or even keep...as you have an extensive collection of magic and puzzles..have you thought what will become of them ?...do you anticipate handing them down to children or donate as a collection to a museum ?... As we get older these things must be considered... I hope you have or will dwell on this subject for unavoidably it is in your future... Wishing you a long and fruitful future... 🌿🌿🌿
You know it’s a good one when the intro is just so angelic. Love Canadian spring, going to experience it in person some day. Love the vibe of the whole vid🙏
The stitch box was a very unique and well made puzzle! I was thinking when you first started taking it apart that putting it back together would be harder. Just take it all apart and scramble the pieces and let someone try to put it back together. I bet that would be much harder. Very cool! Thanks!
This is filmed at the PERFECT angle. If you want a POV view, watch normally. For a POV of someone spectating, watch upside down. I noticed this when I put my phone down while the video was still playing in landscape mode and I didn’t even realize I was looking at it upside down. Usually, it’s easy to tell because it feels unnatural, but whatever angle you chose is perfect.
20:19 And Japan is very, very humid. Ages ago, my dad bought a wooden statue in Vietnam and had it shipped to my grandparents who were in southern Utah. The back split open wide in the dry air of the desert. No, it was never fixed nor thrown away.
Hey Chris, i really do love these wood puzzles, great work with the location of shooting it aswell. One thing i do know u do is linking to were we can buy all these puzzles, but i would really love if u did the same on ur short vids, please link in the comments so we can buy those puzzles, would be amazing, Love ur vids, keep up the awesome work bud. PS i miss the insane intros u made before, like the star wars themed one, please bring em back, i know they take alot of time making them, but imo i think its worth it 🥰🥰🥰
My late husband and I used to do woodworking: 2 woods that will dull and burn out your saw blades faster than anything are purple heart and ironwood! (LOL @ mosquitoes! Reminds me of when my elder grandson was stationed in Alaska for a couple of years. He stated that Alaska has but 2 seasons: winter and mosquitoes!)
Chris you should Watch some of those japanese factory videos!!!? Even food videos are so ethic perfection - Watch Them while waiting on your videos - TV videos are late??? Just saying 😍 Nicolai miss you🤣
Love the format! Only thing on the 6Co Stitch, I don’t know if you put it back together in the original pattern with the colors of the stitches. I tried to compare when you took it out of the box, but couldn’t catch all the patterns.
Beautiful intro and love puzzle 's wow you are so cool and so are the puzzle 's this is awesome and amazing. (SWEET 💜💯💫)💞🤗love the robot, and cat puzzle the most.
i'm soooo jealous! i was going to join the lotto for the cat on the couch but i forgot the final date and didn't place my order. it's really lovely seeing you enjoy playing these boxes outside.

i was worried about there being a little tool and losing it in the moss / rocks, but i’m loving the outdoor setting and ambiance of it all !

How to get a cat off the sofa? You don't, you wait until the cat gives permission 😂

That last one was incredible!
Very satisfying episode.
Filming outside for these puzzles (which were pretty chill) definitely worked. For more intense puzzles it would not have worked as well.
Thank you Chris for these. Made my night!
i'm soooo jealous! i was going to join the lotto for the cat on the couch but i forgot the final date and didn't place my order. it's really lovely seeing you enjoy playing these boxes outside.
