So much respect to the SELU coach and program. Going toe to toe with the big programs and proving they belong
SELU was playing good ball, but the homer by Valentine seemed to simultaneously galvanize the Tide, while deflating SELU; SELU simply didn't have enough time to regain their composure. Great game, thanks Matt!
Without Kayla Beaver, Bama wouldnt be playing right now!! The Riverboat Gambler has a habit of wasting elite pitching talent! Hate me if you want to, Bama Softball needs a fresh start! Two years in a row our hitting is horrendous and wasnt elite 3 years ago!

We don’t have much speed and made a few errors at the end
Bama was lucky - SLU had no sticks. That plus the giveaway runs, gave Bama the win. SLU pitching was alright, but bad defense gave it away.
