I am happy it has helped you understand the condition. What are you allergic to if you don't mind me asking.

I've been trying to figure out what is causing this severe tickle in my throat and itchy and burning mouth, I've had many test and none could find out anything. I thought it was asthma, thrush, stress, pneumonia, burning mouth syndrome etc, a neurogenic cough.... But no meds helps the sensation I've been getting. Allergy tests showed only allergic to distance and molds no foods at all, but over the past month I've been trying to document what I eat and what causes it... And I still can't narrow it down... As I type this my throat itches and mouth tingles.... It's very uncomfortable. I have another allergist appmnt Friday

As she mentioned. If it is OAS, then you get the sensation immediately from eating something. It is obvious which foods cause OAS, if you have it. I have always known I am sensitive to apples, bananas, and carrots. For a very long time, I did not know what caused it, because OAS had not been discovered. Now I know.
