Is there a spacer on starboard side between motor and transom to keep the motor even against the transom?
Is there a way to switch from a Yamaha outboard motor to a mercury without changing the cables and stirring? Thanks
What's the setback between the transom and the power pole? Whats the side of your bracket? Thanks in advance!
why not use the specific verado power pole mount bracket?

Are those brass lock nuts?
Good looking install but are you concerned about liability when in the Mercury Service Manual, Mercury states they do not want anything attached to the outboard mounting bolts. I think Mercury's worry is more about things like the Turbo Swing than this power pole but if things went bad are you concerned about liability risk? Great video as always thank you for the content. (I guess Google is hiding my name that's new my name is James a boat mechanic in Michigan.) Again thanks for the videos.

I'm a 5th gen Conch I remember back in the last 80's early 90's that all the bone fish boaters and captains complained about all the jet skis in the back country and got them band from going there and now the same people are putting holes all over the flats with this kinda stuff. ohhhh welll Nice job on the install
same could be said for anyone dragging an anchor across the bottom.. If touching the bottom is bad, no one should be putting anything on the bottom in that area, including powerpoles and anchors.

What kind of caulk or silicone sealant do you guys use on installs like this? 4200, 5200, life caulk?
