What's even more depressing about Nuka's death, is that he originally said "well, I finally got your attention, didn't I? Didn't I?" They cut it, only keeping the last "Didn't I?" Also, Zira originally killed herself. They cut that line too, so it explains why she smiles as she falls.
I had hoped to see Maestro Forte on this list, because not only is he brilliantly voiced by Tim Curry & one of my personal favorite Disney villains overall, but regarding the setting of Beauty and the Beast, it really is quite fascinating to see a castle servant who feels their life was *improved* by the curse as opposed to harmed. Plus, he may or may not have been what instilled my budding love for The Phantom of the Opera as a kid. 🥰 Speaking of Beauty and the Beast, wow, I had no idea Lumiere was the main villain for Aladdin & the King of Thieves! That's awesome, though I can certainly how it'd be quite distracting as well. 😆 Plus heck yes to Zira at number one; I never quite considered how relatively complex she is due to her circumstances but that just makes her better! I'm glad you've come to develop a greater appreciation for Lion King II, Jam, because it really is almost on-par with the original; clearly, there was actual dedication to that one.✨

If I had to choose, I think my top 5 would be: Hamsterveil-everything you mentioned is 100% correct Bradley Uppercrust-I’ve loved/hated him ever since I was a kid. A lot of the stuff he does I still get a kick out of McLeach-the fact that he kidnapped a child just to get information about a rare bird says it all Buster-his hatred towards Tramp for ditching him for Lady, I can see why he would want to have Scamp join him instead. His way of revenge so to speak Zira-why wouldn’t she be number 1? She’s freaking awesome! Excellent work Jam :)

Zira also has a more tragic side to her. Its implied that Scar was her mate at one point, due to Nuka's bitterness about Scar choosing Kovu even though he isn't even related to him. Which implies (to me at least) that Zira and Scar were Nuka's parents in a way. So imagine your nephew-in-law once considered dead kills your husband and later banishes you for rightfully being upset?? I'd be bitter too if that was the case. And it's sad to see Zira slowly spiral into madness throughout the film as time goes on and her sanity is left to stew. Not only is she having to go through grieving but she also has to be forced out to starve with no shelter or water to speak of with seemingly the only bountiful lands being only a hop skip and a jump away so basically within seeing distance. Not only was Zira sentenced to banishment she was basically sent to have a form of Tantalusian punishment by having food and water right in front of her and her people but being unable to have it and what little she does has is infested with crocodiles proving to be very dangerous if not life-threatening. At the end of the day all Zira wants is to put a close on her grieving and go back home so her and her people can be safe. Granted her form of getting over it is vastly unhealthy but the tragedy is still there. Hell at the end of the movie there was a deleted scene during he death she was supposed to commit suicide due to her being absolutely being unwilling to accept Kiara's help, with her wanting to rather die than accept the help from those who are related with her husband's murderer. OVer all such inner sadness and cruelty that Zira displays is why she is one of my favorite villains even outside of Disney sequels and sometimes depending on the day I find her more scary that Scar just to how upfront she can be with her anger and cruelty
Im happy to hear some of these villains, I wish we got more like them. They have some amazing feel and I'd rather see more of these guys then twist villains that are executed badly.
Well, it might interest you to know that the Lilo and Stitch sequels in a one off case, are so well written that they are considered canon by Disney. Hamsterviel, Reuben, Angel and even Leroy are walkaround characters at Disney Parks and have plenty of merchandise based off them.
Interesting list, but some of your choices I wouldn’t have picked, like the hamster dude, the guy from a Goofy Movie 2 or especially Marina Del Ray. The last one imo was more annoying than anything, I get where you’re coming from that she’s more relatable in feeling under-appreciated by King Triton and especially how much crap she has to put up with for his daughters. I just found her more whiny and annoying than actually intimidating and just waiting for her to snap. 1. Zira- Everything you said. I think the best part of her is how obsessed she is with Scar, who I always assumed was her husband, considering Nuka’s design and how he basically is Scar because of how much he envied Kovu’s favoritism and Zira treating him as a worthless son. She isn’t afraid to kill her own followers when Vitani chose to stop fighting and the others agreed, sick of fighting for a dead king. Zira isn’t technically defeated by Simba or Kiara, she literally swipes at Kiara when she’s struggling to climb up the cliff to escape the flood, hence showing she let her own bitterness and hatred destroy her 2. Maestro Forte- Honestly I’m pretty disappointed he wasn’t in the list. Nothing more terrifying than a CGI pipe organ voiced by Tim Curry. He’s managed to convince Beast he’s the only one who actually cares about him and understands his hatred of his form. Its actually interesting to see a character from this world that actually prefers his enchanted form over being a human, and why? Because his master actually pays attention and appreciates his talents now. Plus the ending of this movie was pretty startling, considering Forte was trying to tear an entire castle apart just to keep Belle and Beast from falling in love. 3. Morgana- I know a lot of people accused her of being one of the weakest points for the Little Mermaid 2 because she’s basically a skinny version of Ursula, but I found her more intimidating than Marina. Part of it is her reasons is due to insecurities of her capabilities and having to deal with being constantly overshadowed by Ursula, it makes her not realize her own strengths, considering she has a hidden vial of Ursula’s magic she refused to give to her shark Undertow. Plus she managed to convince Melody her mother didn’t actually care about her and she’s the one who never lied about anything aside Triton stealing the trident. If only she didn’t literally scream out how to defeat her in the ending. 4. The dude from Aladdin 3- I personally just haven’t seen the film yet to say, but I’ll take your word for it 5. Governor Ratcliffe- Ok, just hear me out. I know he definitely is the weakest villain of the Renaissance era, which is sad considering how much potential he had. In the first movie, all he is a just an entitled elitist who makes the others do all the hard work while he expected to find gold to earn honor and favor from the king. In the sequel, he had a lot more potential to make up for his lack of threat in the first movie. Pocahontas has a personal hatred of him for not only threatening her people, but also almost killing her lover John Smith and the reason why she had to say goodbye to him. But in London, Pocahontas is at a disadvantage and the king is manipulated by his lies that her people cannot be trusted. Especially in the banquet scene, Ratcliffe is using her passion for her people and world against her by torturing a bear, the king’s favorite form of entertainment. It leads to her getting locked up and very possibly being executed for humiliating the king in front of his guests. Thankfully Pocahontas and John Smith are able to prove his lies and unmask Ratcliffe as a scoundrel and a big fat liar, hence leading to his arrest. I know this sequel is deemed as one of the absolute worst Disney sequels, but you can’t deny how close Ratcliffe came to succeeding in his hate filled plans to destroy her people out of hate HM: Buster from Lady and Tramp 2. I know a lot of people found this sequel more annoying, but Buster had a lot of potential as a villain. Ignoring the problem of Tramp not having a partner in the first movie, I actually found Buster pretty intimidating. He’s bitter and jealous Tramp left the streets for a life of luxury with Lady. He finds Scamp more annoying than anything, but uses him as a way to take something important away from Tramp and is also a perfect example of having bad role models, considering he deliberately gets Scamp caught later. I just wish Buster had a better backstory or maybe directly threatens Scamp as a wake up call of how dangerous living on the streets can be and why Tramp didn’t want that life for him. Scamp spent most of the movie being completely ungrateful for the dream life he had and constantly whining about being a wild dog instead. HM2 Percivle McLeach from Rescuers 2. As intimidating and frightening Madame Medusa was, I think McLeach was more threatening, considering he kidnaps a boy and later tries throwing him off a cliff just to get his greedy paws on a rare giant golden eagle, even sicking his pet lizard to eat the eggs to prevent them from hatching. I actually found him kinda hilarious at times with his short temper and Joanna being a hungry pest half the time.
You should have added Morgana from the little mermaid 2 return to the sea since she is a great and memorable Disney sequel villain and is similar to Maleficent in appearance and personality

I think my list would have been very similar to yours. I also really like Zira as an antagonist. I would have added Forte somewhere in there, maybe in 5th position and wouldn’t have put Hamsterviel at all. Zira and Saluk would definitely be on the podium. I love these villains.
My top 5 would be: 5. Buster(Lady and the Tramp 2): Nice to see an expansion of Tramp’s past. 4.Hamsterviel for reasons stated in this video. And he’s the only Disneytoon sequel villain considered canon as seen by his presence in Disney Parks. 3. Forte (enchanted Christmas): interesting to see someone enjoy the curse and think he’s more useful to the Beast in this form. 2. Jafar (Return of Jafar): you really get to see how unstoppable Jafar is in this movie. 1. Ratcliffe (Pocahontas 2): Going from not interacting with Pocahontas in the original movie to exchanging savage banter with her as well as having a great revenge scheme in the sequel, Ratcliffe is greatly improved in the sequel. Say what you will about the overall sequel but Ratcliffe improved as a villain in Pocahontas 2.
I'm so shocked that Lumiere and the villain from Aladdin and the King of Thieves have the same voice actor! Mind blown! Lol:) Anyways, Zira was the perfect fit for she is my favorite Disney sequel villain too especially since Scar is my main favorite Disney villain and the first three Lion King movies are my main favorite Disney animated movies. :)
I am so glad someone actually brought attention to Marina Del Ray. People criticize her for being a weak villain, and yes, she is on a narrative scale, but I think the fact that, compared to Ursula's family from the first 2 films and all of the villains we see in the Little Mermaid TV show, that she goes through all of this trouble to get a flipping [pun-not-intended] promotion is pretty funny, and it's intentionally done in a way that is sorta funny - Epesecially since her victory in the film is barely even villainous, from anyone else's point of view, the worst thing she did was snitch on someone who broke the law - You could argue she isn't even a villain until she decides the only way to keep her job is by murdering Sebastian and Ariel, and even then, she's enjoyable as a villain (not a sympathetic one, but a charming funny one). Her pompous, fashionista-pathetic-yet-deadly attitude reminds me of Donita Donata from _Wild Kratts_ blended in with Yzma from _The Emperor's New Groove_ and a dash of Hades from _Hercules._ I know the 3rd Little Mermaid gets shoved under the radar a lot (especially compared to movies like Simba's Pride or Return to Never Land), but even as dumb as its narrative is, it's one of the more entertaining animated sequels, especially for a direct-to-video movie.
Here’s my list for the top ten Disney sequels list! With one honorable mention HM: Percival C Mcleach from the rescuers down under. I know this wasn’t a direct to video sequel but he’s still a fairly underrated villain. 5. Buster from Lady and the Tramp 2 Scamps adventure. While this is not one of my favorite sequels he does provide an insight into Tramp’s past as a street dog and does serve as a good allegory for peer pressure and bad influences. 4. Forte from Beauty and the Beast the enchanted Christmas. Probably the only member of the castle staff whom prefers to keep the curse in place and serves as toxic individual and bad influence on the beast. Plus it does help he’s played by the always entertaining Tim Curry. His only problem is he’s bolted to the wall so he can’t actually do anything himself really. 3. Doctor Hamsterviel: basically everything Jambareeqi said 2. Bradly upeecrust the third: basically everything jambareeqi said. 1. Zira. Who else could I put here?
Me too. I can see why Jam considers Marina so unique, but as far as Disney villains go, not only is Forte much cooler, he manages to be both funny AND frightening. 🎹💚

Marina is in this list? I find her more annoying than smart or intimidating. She was never able to manipulate Triton like Ursula did. She didn't try to stole his trident and use magic against him. Marine did nothing that cruel or impressive, she's just jealous of Sebastian and that's it. Not very interresting :S Also, she is a terrible singer! Bradley from Goofy movie 2, seriously? He's a generic bully, not that handsome or powerful. I would put Buster from lady and the tramp 2; he has an sad past with Tramp, a cool design AND can manipulate dogs. This animal is super smart, a better villain than Bradley to me.

Please do a second top 5 Disney sequels villain list. I wonder where the ones from lady and the tramp 2 would fall on this list.
Percival C. McLeach is my favorite. He’s one of the few sequel villains who surpassed the original.
I'm so shocked that Lumiere and the villain from Aladdin and the King of Thieves have the same voice actor! Mind blown! Lol:)
Anyways, Zira was the perfect fit for she is my favorite Disney sequel villain too especially since Scar is my main favorite Disney villain and the first three Lion King movies are my main favorite Disney animated movies. :)
... wow. I never expected someone to call Marina a good villain. Actually, she DOES fit the films tone.
I am so glad someone actually brought attention to Marina Del Ray. People criticize her for being a weak villain, and yes, she is on a narrative scale, but I think the fact that, compared to Ursula's family from the first 2 films and all of the villains we see in the Little Mermaid TV show, that she goes through all of this trouble to get a flipping [pun-not-intended] promotion is pretty funny, and it's intentionally done in a way that is sorta funny - Epesecially since her victory in the film is barely even villainous, from anyone else's point of view, the worst thing she did was snitch on someone who broke the law - You could argue she isn't even a villain until she decides the only way to keep her job is by murdering Sebastian and Ariel, and even then, she's enjoyable as a villain (not a sympathetic one, but a charming funny one).
Her pompous, fashionista-pathetic-yet-deadly attitude reminds me of Donita Donata from _Wild Kratts_ blended in with Yzma from _The Emperor's New Groove_ and a dash of Hades from _Hercules._
I know the 3rd Little Mermaid gets shoved under the radar a lot (especially compared to movies like Simba's Pride or Return to Never Land), but even as dumb as its narrative is, it's one of the more entertaining animated sequels, especially for a direct-to-video movie.
I never knew how weird the animation was for the villain in An Extremely Goofy Movie until now.

Here’s my list for the top ten Disney sequels list! With one honorable mention
HM: Percival C Mcleach from the rescuers down under. I know this wasn’t a direct to video sequel but he’s still a fairly underrated villain.
5. Buster from Lady and the Tramp 2 Scamps adventure. While this is not one of my favorite sequels he does provide an insight into Tramp’s past as a street dog and does serve as a good allegory for peer pressure and bad influences.
4. Forte from Beauty and the Beast the enchanted Christmas. Probably the only member of the castle staff whom prefers to keep the curse in place and serves as toxic individual and bad influence on the beast. Plus it does help he’s played by the always entertaining Tim Curry. His only problem is he’s bolted to the wall so he can’t actually do anything himself really.

Me too. I can see why Jam considers Marina so unique, but as far as Disney villains go, not only is Forte much cooler, he manages to be both funny AND frightening. 🎹💚
@@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRose probably helps that he’s played by Tim Curry an actor whom I’m convinced could play a blade of grass reading the phone book and would make it the most epic and entertaining thing ever

And his casting is even more on point when you find out that a) Tim Curry himself was once considered to be the voice of the Beast in the Disney original and b) he appeared as a Beast for another version of BATB that came out around the same time as the two midquels. 😉
@@DJtheBlack-RibbonedRose he was also considered to voice Jafar and scar. With lion king, he was going to voice a python.
Marina is in this list? I find her more annoying than smart or intimidating. She was never able to manipulate Triton like Ursula did. She didn't try to stole his trident and use magic against him. Marine did nothing that cruel or impressive, she's just jealous of Sebastian and that's it. Not very interresting :S Also, she is a terrible singer!
Bradley from Goofy movie 2, seriously? He's a generic bully, not that handsome or powerful. I would put Buster from lady and the tramp 2; he has an sad past with Tramp, a cool design AND can manipulate dogs. This animal is super smart, a better villain than Bradley to me.

5: errrrrrrr I don't want to know where or how she got those clothes. 4: wow making a college bully actually evil and not just your typical jerk good on you Disney toons. 3: His manipulation tactics are so clever that he'll be scary as a Marvel villain. 2: he's the funniest Disney toon characters ever produced, and 1: well I think she's a better version of Scar, she's full of hatred like you said she thinks killing Simba would be the answer and blinded with consequences that comes with it that's what led to her and son's death
