I don’t know how to explain this, but Mark saying “I’d still put it at S tier because it was the best that I could do at the time” on a sketch that wasn’t that great in his mind, has somehow healed my 15 years of self destruction, self doubt, and lack of self esteem. Him saying we shouldn’t feel down about the things that we’ve done, and essentially approach it with a positive attitude, and instead be proud of what we did do. Magical. Somehow Mark managed to give me the most encouraging and healing words of wisdom that even several years of therapy couldn’t offer.

It's funny because Markimoo is so well known with his followers. There's very little I think we don't know. Not from snooping, but rather because Mark just.... talks a lot.... about everything. You need to ask about the saw in the woods. Gives good context to his relationship with Thomas. also, 10 lbs, 3 oz club!

Bro feels like that one friend you can vibe with and puts the fear of god in you when he just sends a pic of him in the hospital. Like you know its not the first time he in there but fuck man take care of yourself.
Unus Anus was hands down the greatest project every done on YT. It made you excited every day for each video and the livestream countdown leading to the end was epic. Hitting refresh once the livestream went offline and seeing the channel just gone made the journey so rewarding to have been there in that moment.
It was also at the perfect time. I remember i missed like ¾ of the live and watched it till almost the end and the immediately went to the beginning and watched the full live. It was so surreal watching that livestream on a chanel that just didn't exist anymore when i tried to search for it
I also love how in this podcast we see how close Ethan and Mark are even after all these years. Literally marks two top productions involved Ethan as a supporting/main character. They are my favourite duo when it comes to RUclips. You can see how well they work together on camera , I really hope they continue making stuff into the future.
When I think of Ray, I don't think of "super prepared and well organized and ready to go," so much as chaotic and high energy and fun. However, this podcast interview was honestly one of the best interviews I've ever seen, and yall were both *so* thoroughly prepared and *so* well organized. You got another sub here, good episode!
It's so funny seeing multiple people in the comments that have never really heard of Mark before. I'm old enough to remember watching his Amnesia LP in my freshman dorm in college and I've been following his career off and on ever since. I'm glad new people are finding out about such a chill and low key inspiring dude.
I think I started watching a little bit after his Amnesia days...I wasn't really into horror games but his reactions made it funny and less scary. Now I occasionally play solo horror games and am still scared but I just need to like go play Stardew for a bit.
It’s crazy people don’t know mark! I still remember when there was the big 3 mark jack and Pewds they all had bright random hair color and they all just did playthroughs of games and that was top tier content back then.
I know Rae said she doesn't want to have her friends on yet but I really do think an episode with Ryan Higa would be so good especially after seeing this episode with Mark. Talking about the early days of RUclips and how he originally decided to make content for it
@@im2CosmicRyan streams on twitch and frequently plays valo with her. He's also in a lot of Abe's events like rust, mine craft servers, etc. Believe they met during covid times!
Speaking as someone who saw Unus Annus; That last livestream was TENSE. If they had finished that stream without showing what was in the coffin, I might actually have gone insane... XD
So glad such an important guest could leave some time to be in this podcast...and also that dude, for accompanying Chica so she wouldn't get nervous, don't know his deal, but he seems nice
There was a level of humility and respect here that was refreshing to see. Mark and Rae are each wildly successful and famous, yet neither one presented that way. This is normal for Mark, but I'm new to Rae's content (only knew her in name alone), so it was awesome to see that energy matched. Also loved the limited amount of interrupting or speaking over each other from all three. Just thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to this.
"LOOSING A FRIEND IN A SAFE WAY" I still had sat on a call with a friend, crying for like hours together in the middle of the night-lol but it was such a good project and it was so fun to see mark and ethan do something completely different and new and see what they bring later that they like to their own channels. Unus Annus is probably the best collab on this website for the meaning behind it and the energy it took to upload every day.
as a mark fan, wilford motherloving warfstache is absolutely one of my favorites, i wish it was more well known because its so funny and visually interesting and just UGH so good
52:09 What truly impacted with the pepper spray video was that during the time the video was posted there was a viral news story of a cop who pepper sprayed a 5 yo. The fact that they would put them in that sort of pain is diabolical.
For me it is a totally normal question, too! She was so sorry for it, but really, why?!? Me is ADHD, ton of ND friends… it‘s just the norm for me I guess. 😅
When Rae talked about how Samson is so talented, her face and eyes lit up like a proud mother/older sibling. Literally the same feeling and emotion I have with my younger sister.
I'm so used to high energy Markiplier videos, I forgot how much of a genuinely chill guy he is? I always expect people with huge followings to be more space-consuming and braggy in some way, but I loved how humble and open Mark presents as. Great podcast!
Markiplier is a gaming legend. Many generations have grown up with him. I'll never forget the first time I saw it, it was 12 years ago, he played The Stanley Parable. What a memory of him.
I've watched Markiplier my entire life, I've watched Valkyrae during the pandemic, and my two favorite Asian RUclipsrs are collabing in this day and age?!?!?! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH, THANK YOU ALL THREE!!!
Mark and ethan got me through a very rough patch with unnus annus. cause i was ready to end it being honest when i found mark and ethans first unnus annus vid and they talked about death and how taking life day by day and their countdown to "ending it all" ( their words ) saved my life. Literally... Mark and ethan saved a life and i hope that one day they see this and are able to be aware of just how much weight their "little project" actually carried for some people. From the bottom of my heart.. THANK YOU MARK AND ETHAN
"Are you also autistic? " "Do you wanna get tased? 😀" I frickin love Lisa lmao 😭. I love you both! I'm always looking forward to your episodes every week. 💖
HELP, you really tased him 😭 but this was such a fun episode! Lisa not knowing Mark and his lore and having her ask all the right questions on his work and thinking process gave such a fresh perspective on how he’s grown through the years. I’ve been a casual Markiplier watcher since my teenage years and I wouldn’t have thought to ask some of these questions. Mark is absolutely insane, and also incredibly inspiring with how he tackles all these projects. Looking forward to Iron Lung!
This sounds backwards since I'm an OG RUclips frog (grew up with Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Pewdiepie) who got into the streamer-sphere in the past few years or so, but this podcast inspired me to finally watch/playthrough In Space With Markiplier and WOW. Emmy nom well-deserved. Such an honor to grow up alongside one generation of creatives and see the next one come up!
I needed this video for 2025 for myself. I can’t wait to see mark through the years going forward. Such a respectable kind guy. INSANELY CREATIVE and humble. His mentality inspires me
Y'all this is genuinely the chillest podcast I've ever watched. ALL of you have such warm, inviting, chill vibes, it seems like you guys had a blast! Thank you for this.
I loved the tier list because it gave him an opportunity to give us an insight on the background of his particulars videos! You guys did an amazing job interviewing Mark.
The millenials are growing up and making their own humans. I can only hope we get into politics etc too. Make the change we wish to see in the world. I feel that we are uniquely prepared with a taste of the old world pre internet and the heritage of our older generations while also blossoming along with the modern era of highly online life and having navigated it and learned the dos and donts as we matured with it, etc. I could go on for days, but seeing people be able to be vulnerable and open and chill is always food for the soul.
I watch every RUclips video, listen to every podcast, and every interview he’s in, and I still can’t get enough of just listening to mark talk. Sure, the gaming is 10/10 and I always love it, but there’s just something about listening to him talk about life. He’s said that both negative and positive comments don’t affect him, but I hope he does know how much he’s valued by his community
I really like his video titled "pain" and "the test" and others video that I can't remember where he talks about life and what he thinks about hard stuffs. Really inspired me.
It’s amazing you were able to get such a kind hearted, generous, gorgeous and determined individual as your first guest!! It was nice of Chica to bring Mark too I guess
mark being the first guest was so perfect I loved the episode so good❤also 48:58 - 49:08 😂"why am i talking you into it?!???" this whole scene was so funny + it was so awesome getting to know more about mark and his projects loved it all
i didn't know about mark before today and he is so nonchalant, literally the chill guy. i bet more people felt calmer while watching this episode, also his dog is so cute too
I didn't realize anyone on YT wouldn't know Markiplier lol. He's been like my central part of YT for SO many years, but I guess if you aren't into the gaming side, he might not be seen. Mark really took off from his old horror game playthroughs, very entertaining and he could make people laugh, then started creating bigger projects like they discussed here, and even did a live tour around America some years back where they did comedy/imrpov stuff. He's also worked with Corridor Crew as an intern (for fun to learn). If you know Jacksepticeye, they used to make a bit together as well but they haven't done much together in a while now.
Before and after 1:15:30 but specifically "every step is another step towards a better way to exoress yourself." That really resonates and is such a beautiful way to look at the creative process. I didn't realize all things Mark has done, but it was really cool and inspiring to listen in on this interview!
I don’t know much about Markiplier, just that he’s a giant in the creator/youtuber realm. This podcast was a great introduction, and I left it feeling so inspired and just a sense of positivity!! Also Chica and Mika were so cute this episode just hanging around🥰❤
Honestly vibes all around. Obviously mark is wonderful as always, but Rae and Lisa were so engaging and reciprocative. That all together made this full length feature film feel like a breeze!
What an insane collab. As someone who independently followed most of Mark's eras, watched Rae's and roomies' content, and bought and loved Tiny Protectors stuff - thank you for putting this together.
I get more appreciation for Unus Annus with each year. I was there from week one, and watched till the end. Similar to losing someone you care about, you start to appreciate and cherish those moments with them more. I think a lot of the sadness we feel from losses like this, is from the fact that we're never able to fully appreciate something, until it's gone. Side note, choose your own adventure isn't a new thing, but I specifically remember questioning whether or not it existed in the format Mark did for "A Date With Markiplier," and later, if he was ever credited for the idea for "Black Mirror Bandersnatch." Because, at least to my knowledge, he was the first one to do something like that in video format, that wasn't just a videogame
when they asked if he mark wanted to get tazed i started laughing. mark "i want to know if my body can take it" fischbach will definitely sign up to get tazed
I’m speechless after this episode. Mark is an intelligent, inspiring individual. Thank you for your years of content and commitment to bringing joy to people through your work man!
This really made me realize how little people understand that mark is just genuinely happy to do what he does he doesn't have like the other feeling other creators have about content creation because he does all of this because its his passion and people dont always understand how he can be so happy
Mark is genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever seen, even though I know we can only see so much as viewers, he just has a genuineness to him where it would shatter (or at least completely rock) my worldview if it ever came out he was secretly a horrible person. He’s like the Mr. Rogers of RUclips!
been a fan of mark since the drunk minecraft days when he was in college, this was great to hear him go down memory lane because he really has done so much in his career on youtube! great conversation flow and great vibes !

Been watching Mark for years and I made so many memories watching his content, the para social relationship is wild lol. Ratatouille is also my favorite movie and it came so out of left field when he said that lol.
Got y'all beat! 10 pounds 6oz club here! 😜
Bro feels like that one friend you can vibe with and puts the fear of god in you when he just sends a pic of him in the hospital. Like you know its not the first time he in there but fuck man take care of yourself.
The parasocial relationship is going crazy
The "you're the second man I've tasered in 24 hours" and their reaction had me rolling 😂

This made me laugh more than it should have😂
He turned around..
wow Mark is so incredibly down to earth. 34:18 him asking Samson if he also wanted to see the snippet was really thoughtful.
The taser part isn't wild to me cause anyone watching Mark through the years knows that's the least masochist thing he'd do & had done
It would've been weird if he _hadn't_ got tased upon being asked if he wanted to 😅
I also love how in this podcast we see how close Ethan and Mark are even after all these years.
Now I occasionally play solo horror games and am still scared but I just need to like go play Stardew for a bit.
i joined when he used to play deadspace
I still remember my first markiplier video. I was hooked withing the 1st two seconds.
It’s crazy people don’t know mark! I still remember when there was the big 3 mark jack and Pewds they all had bright random hair color and they all just did playthroughs of games and that was top tier content back then.
@@coffeegirl18 you're brave. I'm a big ol' chicken. I quit as soon as it gets scary
the tier list was such a good idea!! it allowed Mark to talk about many of his projects that probably wouldn’t have been brought up in conversation
@@freenie5252 i agree! and he was so neat about his placements on the tier list too lol
I know Rae said she doesn't want to have her friends on yet but I really do think an episode with Ryan Higa would be so good especially after seeing this episode with Mark. Talking about the early days of RUclips and how he originally decided to make content for it
Yes! I want an episode with Ryan too, I hope they do one with him soon
Oh seconded.
Yessssss I agree
wait idk much at all about Rae (no disrespect she's very cool), how does she know Ryan Higa?!
@@im2CosmicRyan streams on twitch and frequently plays valo with her. He's also in a lot of Abe's events like rust, mine craft servers, etc. Believe they met during covid times!
Speaking as someone who saw Unus Annus;
That last livestream was TENSE. If they had finished that stream without showing what was in the coffin, I might actually have gone insane... XD
Sameee
So glad such an important guest could leave some time to be in this podcast...and also that dude, for accompanying Chica so she wouldn't get nervous, don't know his deal, but he seems nice
Oh man the Warfstache era was such a throwback. I sometimes hope he brings that character back in a future video some day, he was so chaotic and funny
and my lord the warf video? art
Side notes.. she's a Capricorn, he's a cancer... sister signs 🫂 Very similar
@@Mantislives That's funny considering how much they found to have in common in the powerpals podcast
The guy behind the camera is just one of us. I love him 😂
Hats off to you for actually interviewing Mark and not petting Chica the whole episode, I wouldn't have nearly that level of self control

Going through all the projects gave me so much nostalgia for these. I gotta say the only thing that wasn’t brought up was the “You’re welcome tour”
52:09 What truly impacted with the pepper spray video was that during the time the video was posted there was a viral news story of a cop who pepper sprayed a 5 yo. The fact that they would put them in that sort of pain is diabolical.
Excited to watch the powerwash podcast episode with Rae!😅🙌
That would be so cool 🎉

Mark is such a passionate and creative person and it was refreshing to see he's never experienced burn out or fears it, uncommon these days
I've watched Markiplier my entire life, I've watched Valkyrae during the pandemic, and my two favorite Asian RUclipsrs are collabing in this day and age?!?!?! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH, THANK YOU ALL THREE!!!
This was like the multiverse thing all over again for me
Same here. I was so happy!
Will never get over how Mark's eyes light up every time he thinks of Amy
Mark and ethan got me through a very rough patch with unnus annus. cause i was ready to end it being honest when i found mark and ethans first unnus annus vid and they talked about death and how taking life day by day and their countdown to "ending it all" ( their words ) saved my life. Literally...
Mark and ethan saved a life and i hope that one day they see this and are able to be aware of just how much weight their "little project" actually carried for some people.
From the bottom of my heart..
THANK YOU MARK AND ETHAN
"Are you also autistic? "
"Do you wanna get tased? 😀"
I frickin love Lisa lmao 😭. I love you both! I'm always looking forward to your episodes every week. 💖
HELP, you really tased him 😭
but this was such a fun episode!
I’m so glad THEE CHICA and her hooman mark could make their appearance on the podcast! I’m a big fan of the interactive Chica videos!!🫡😅
36:06 Mark's ''I'm on Observation Duty'' skill's kicked in
This sounds backwards since I'm an OG RUclips frog (grew up with Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, Pewdiepie) who got into the streamer-sphere in the past few years or so, but this podcast inspired me to finally watch/playthrough In Space With Markiplier and WOW. Emmy nom well-deserved. Such an honor to grow up alongside one generation of creatives and see the next one come up!
markiplier calling drake ''who's it's face'' is the world slowly getting better
Rewatching this every time I need to be creatively inspired
Wow Rae and Lisa did a great job! Thank you SO MUCH for researching and asking interesting questions. 1.5+ hours flew by super quick ❤
Seeing people so genuine and open gives me hope for the future.
Same!
Spot on!
Markiplier continuously hiring rooster teeth employees is so nice. Its good they are still getting work.
mark being the first guest was so perfect I loved the episode so good❤also 48:58 - 49:08 😂"why am i talking you into it?!???" this whole scene was so funny + it was so awesome getting to know more about mark and his projects loved it all
LMAO Lisa saying “BY THE POWER OF GOD!” Before jabbing mark with taser
i didn't know about mark before today and he is so nonchalant, literally the chill guy. i bet more people felt calmer while watching this episode, also his dog is so cute too
He’s the best ❤❤
same here! i heard of him but never rlly knew what he did. truly inspiring!!
@@imaanmemonyou guys missed a whole era but it’s ok hopefully you give his videos a watch
If you know Jacksepticeye, they used to make a bit together as well but they haven't done much together in a while now.
he is truly what an influencer should strive to be, always working to make amazing content and being completely unproblematic, love him !
Before and after 1:15:30 but specifically "every step is another step towards a better way to exoress yourself." That really resonates and is such a beautiful way to look at the creative process. I didn't realize all things Mark has done, but it was really cool and inspiring to listen in on this interview!
Clicked on the video for Chica, glad I watched all the was through thou.
Mark is such a creative and determined person and I find him so inspiring
I don’t know much about Markiplier, just that he’s a giant in the creator/youtuber realm. This podcast was a great introduction, and I left it feeling so inspired and just a sense of positivity!! Also Chica and Mika were so cute this episode just hanging around🥰❤
Why is Mark's voice so soothing?! I can sleep through with him just talking!
Honestly vibes all around. Obviously mark is wonderful as always, but Rae and Lisa were so engaging and reciprocative. That all together made this full length feature film feel like a breeze!
Mark saying he never gets invited but wanting to go do things has now sparked a mass podcast invite
1:12:37 "people were so worried about your mental well being" "heh heh, yeaaaaaah... they should've been"
i just love how they already have one topic then it just instantly shifts to another because they got distracted, their adhd is kicking in.
49:45 mark once again proves he's a masochist
I just got to that part 😂 💀 so freaking funny
Hess chill about it too
Beat me to it
What an insane collab.
Side note, choose your own adventure isn't a new thing, but I specifically remember questioning whether or not it existed in the format Mark did for "A Date With Markiplier," and later, if he was ever credited for the idea for "Black Mirror Bandersnatch."
Because, at least to my knowledge, he was the first one to do something like that in video format, that wasn't just a videogame
When Mark talks about Chika winning, the pride got me. Wholesome
when they asked if he mark wanted to get tazed i started laughing. mark "i want to know if my body can take it" fischbach will definitely sign up to get tazed
I’m speechless after this episode. Mark is an intelligent, inspiring individual. Thank you for your years of content and commitment to bringing joy to people through your work man!
idk how any other guest can top this! Chica will forever be #1 pod guest!! Mark was cool too
Probably the only way to top this is to get Sean
1:12:00 "oh you love space"
Oh, you have no idea. PLAY THE MUSIC!!
*OH THAT'S SOOOO COOOooOOOooOOOLLL*
When she called Mark out for smiling about kicking Ethan in the balls, I realized in that moment Mark has a resting happy face. What a rare trait!
This really made me realize how little people understand that mark is just genuinely happy to do what he does he doesn't have like the other feeling other creators have about content creation because he does all of this because its his passion and people dont always understand how he can be so happy
The way Chica keeps looking at Rae like "why aren't you petting me?"
This video is so important to me, I grew up on markiplier and grew up having his mindset. He truly inspires me to do better and be better.
been a fan of mark since the drunk minecraft days when he was in college, this was great to hear him go down memory lane because he really has done so much in his career on youtube! great conversation flow and great vibes !
