    For everyone commenting how dirty the kitchen is. It's not! High Volume commercial kitchen build up grease and carbon buildup very quickly. this cleaning is usually done once or twice annually by professionals when the hood vents are cleaned. Daily cleaning with degreaser and scrubbing pads DO NOT remove carbon buildup. A steam cleaner is needed. After seeing this video, I will be buying one of these for my own restaurant.

      Absolutely, some people just think they know better with no experience. But I can say with confidence in the restaurant I work in, that carbon and grease buildup can be scrubbed and scraped all day long and won’t go away. It also doesn’t affect the quality of the food or the health departments scoring of the restaurant. I definitely wanna look into this because I’d love to work on equipment that looks brand new for once lol

    This is what they should have for fast food restaurants a cleaning detail company to get everything nice and clean without having the cook crew do all this maintenance, let the professionals do it... Quit acting like you guys are professionals and experts in everything you do, and please don't expect us all to do other things outside of our work tasks; like detail cleaning your pans, and other grill parts, keep it professional.

      I used to work at a place like this, they didn’t want to spend the money to have it professionally cleaned a couple times a year so they’d make us dishwashers and cooks stay late or take time out of our shift to try to clean this mess with nothing but a couple towels, some degreaser, and windex. We did what we could to maintain stuff but it was so dirty there was really nothing we could do to actually clean things the way they needed to be.

    I've heard these tiny units can't keep up constant steam pressure for big jobs like commercial kitchens.

    • @Duprayindustries
      @Duprayindustries  3 года назад +2

      Well, they aren’t pressure washers. Steam cleaning is contact cleaning so obviously you have to be directly on the surface for it to work, and give it a good scrub on commercial equipment. They are fabulous detailers, but not meant to clean very large surfaces super quickly like a pressure washer would.

      Matt Penfield, lucky you, that your restaurant has a fully staffed team that has the time to clean your restaurant EVERY SINGLE DAY.
      But there are places like my work, where we're virtually understaffed EVERY DAY. It's busy nonstop almost everyday, and we don't have time to deep clean our stuff everyday. The result? BAKED on grease inside and outside the oven, grease on the walls, and it is virtually ROCK HARD.

      @harbimidiyosunkanka 7 лет назад

      LadyASolveg but look at how greasy those surfaces are. It is inappropriate to let it get that greasy with layers of dirt. A kitchen, commercial or home, should be cleaned properly after each use. It is not that hard to keep it from getting to this level. I don't care about it anyways, because I only eat at good restaurants which I know the owners of & that enables me to check out the kitchens. If the owner is my friend, it is easier to know. Good quality never fails.

      LadyASolveg if it's a fast food restaurant, yeah it can get to this point. But if it is a reputable, good quality, classy restaurant, it won't get to this level.
