The 7th of Tir Martyrs Square, which before the revolution of 1957 was known as the Twenty-Panj Square of Shahrivar (the anniversary of the beginning of the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi), is one of the most important squares in Tehran, which is located in District 7. This square is connected to Shahid Moftah Street from the south side, Karim Khan Zand Boulevard and Qaim Moqam Farahani Street from the west side, and Shahid Moftah Street, Baharshiraz and Modares Highway from the north side. Intersection station of line 1 and 6 of Tehran subway called Shohada Haftam Tir is located in the south of this square. The area of this square is nearly 33,000 square meters. The name of this square is related to the bombing incident in the office of the Islamic Republic Party on July 7, 1360.
