Haligtree Knight keeping to the letter of chivalry there - letting him rise *then* immediately mashing a shield in his face. Meanwhile, Edredd is deeply offended by those that don't courteously dismount...watching him try to catch the Night's Cavalry was pretty funny, though.

Seams if you have a Great Weapon class, you have enough stagger and attack speed to essentially stunlock that black knight forever. The colossal hammer that one knight was using was a little too slow, so Edredd was able to break out, get space and wings, full combo, etc. But Ordovis and Bernie both just kept the damage up, and Bernie healed like 3 times. Why doesnt that skill heal me as much as Bernie.

I also think, that's why I chose the bird warrior and the horned warrior to face the knights, the knights would be double ( Greatshied and spear and greatshied and greatsword) in the case of the banished knights could be halberd and shield and sword. The warrior with the lion's head would go to the bosses
One of my least favourite enemies to fight in the base game were the Crucible Knights. Bad at parrying and a bit of a greedy twin blade nerd. But seeing Ordovis do some work on Edredd was satisfying as hell.
Great Horned Tragoth was a surprise. Yeah he lost, but even with such low damage he was able to poise break Edredd a lot. Had he stayed consistent with his attacks instead of switching to range, he might have won.
Are you using cheat engine to set these fights up and spawn/bring bosses to where you want them to go? I am curious as to how to begin setting up one of these npc vs npc fights to watch myself too. Any input would be greatly helpful as there are practically no resources on this online

I find this variant of the black knight easier than the hammer and sheild variant but in terms of damage I think this guy is superior whilst the other is more of a damage sponge. Wonder how that variant would fair against this.
Oh yeah, Dark Souls Black Knights would absolutely demolish these black knights. Even with the massive stat difference, these guys were getting stunlocked by Orodovis who himself got stunlocked to oblivion by dark souls black knights.
