Can’t wait! This is THE biggest, baddest, most grueling off road race of the year. I’ve ridden single day races in the heat, dehydrated, full Charlie horses in both of my legs at the same time, broken front brake lever, broken shifter, dirt and sand in my eyes, thumb joints rubbed raw. This was a single, six hour race for me. One day! I can’t even wrap my head around the grit, tenacity and stick-to-it-tivness required for this mammoth race. Fifteen days of fighting. Overcoming incredible mental and physical hurdles. Your mind and body MUST be yelling at you to stop. And Toby on his 10th race!!! The riders have to follow the same advice Cool Hand Luke was given. “You got to get your mind right”. Good luck boys. Even writing good luck is a joke - LUCK has nothing to do with a win at Dakar.

This is no real Dakar. This is only trip for factory riders. Real is one bike and one riders an all have on bike, no ktm team, no help from mechanic. Mus ride alone, must repair alone, must start alone an must ride to end alone without different help.
