Watching you guys during lunch in my car and I was like holy s*** when it came to the music played between the first Avengers and Thanos snapping his finger and end game. Favorite part of these Easter eggs. I'm such an Avengers junkie that I started tearing up in my car too
Thanos isn’t “worthy” of Stormbreaker as basically anyone (strong enough) can wield it. A spell is what prevents those that aren’t worthy wield Mjolnir.
Cap reflecting Mjolnir off his shield is also a call back to the first Avengers film, when Thor goes "You want me to put the hammer down!" Same effect happens. Also supposedly Talos is in the school in that scene with Peter and Ned. Also Peter and Ned reuniting makes me cry every time. The emotion is beautiful.
I like how thanos told them they could not live with their own failure and when he failed he calmly sat and waited to become dust and showed what he meant.
They missed one more Easter egg, when cap was about to face Thanos’ entire army, Sam radios in asking cap if he could hear him. Then Sam says “On your left” which is also a nod to winter soldier when their first ever encounter was cap running various laps & telling Sam “on your left” every time he passed him up.
Thanos cannot be worthy of Stormbrraker because it doesn’t have that enchantment on it. You only need to be worthy of lifting Mjolnir because Odin made it so, in the first Thor movie.
"That he's worthy of welding stormbreake-" Let me just stop you right there. His body can withstand the power of the infinity stones so I think he can just lift it with brute strength.
Don't think he mentioned this one, but T'Challa cares! (He calls Clint by his name, referencing the scene in Civil War. "We haven't been introduced yet. I'm Clint." "I don't care." Vs Endgame - "Clint! Give it to me.")
Guys, if you recall, when thor traveled to 2013, he called upon mjolnir to see if he was still worthy, hence, storm breaker does not work on the same premise as mjolnir or else, if he wanted to test it himself, he could have just lifted it in any time after the decimation, please do read this guys.
in Rockstar's new vid, they point out that in the very final confrontation between Thor and Thanos...Thor uses Mjolnir to weigh down Stormbreaker when Thanos grabs it a 2nd time....there's also a sound effect accentuating the amount of pressure exerted on Stormbreaker's handle
There’s two I’m surprised they didn’t notice this but, in the segment when the camera is panning out with all the portals opening if you look at Captain America down on the field his shield isn’t broken it’s still complete. The second was after Thanos Destroyed his shield, when he straps it tight he did that because Thanos lacerated his forearm which was clearly visible.
Storm breaker doesn’t have the same enchantment that mjolnir has so obviously thanos and every one else that has decently sized biceps on the team can lift it and not have to be worthy.
The shot of Scott in the van and Giant-Man in the background of the fight might not necessarily be a continuity error. It probably is just an error, but it could be Bill Foster.
The ultimate call back is in the first avengers movie, where captain America and Tony Stark are arguing. Cap tells him he isn't the kind of person to sacrifice himself.
My theory is that Thanos’ sword is made out of the same metal as Mjolnir and Stormbreaker and since he could’ve been the first one to wield his sword just like it Thor did when he reached his hand out for Stormbreaker. In those ways, it made him worthy to hold something else that was made out of Uru which is the same metal for Thor’s Mjolnir and Stormbreaker. The infinity Gauntlet probably was made out of another metal.
Another easter egg.. a part of the portals theme is in captain america the first avenger.. when peggys talking to steve about being meant for more than being a dancing monkey/lab rat
Storm Breaker doesnt have any enchantment ... I commented same in the Rockstars vid. Odin cast an enchantment on Thor's Hammer, but did not with Storm Breaker, pretty much why Thanos was able to catch it
10:37 the gauntlet is on thanos's right hand not his left this time where it wipes people out and take back to the part where hulk had the gauntlet on his right hand that brought everyone back. What would this mean if thanos had snapped his fingers while the gauntlet on his right hand. Comment your thoughts below.
One easter egg everyone is missing how Thor hits ironman to power up his suit to take out Thanos as a callback to the first avengers when Thor hit ironman with lightning and his suit powered up then as they were fighting eachother.
I thought about that worthy thing with Stormbreaker too, but then I thought does Stormbreaker even have that? Because it was Odin who put that enchant on Mijnor and Stormbreaker came after Odin was already gone, I don't recall anyone putting that on Stormbreaker and I don't think it's just automatically made with it since Mijnor wasn't and had to be enchanted with it by Odin. So I have no reason to believe the worthy thing is even a thing for Stormbreaker.
anyone notice how storm breaker was special because it could summon the bifrost but, thor summoned the bifrost at the end of age of ultron with mjolnir 🥴

I am curious knowing what you know now after the Eternals.....is it possible that Stormbreaker had a worthiness restriction and Thanos was worthy....ie...perhaps Thanos was right (Hawkeye).....
Ok y’all let me explain! Odin didn’t bless Storm breaker like he blessed Mjolnir so anyone can wield it but having the powers of Thor helps and allows you to call it Telepathically

Yes they were made in the same place but that doesn't change anything because Odin is the one that put the spell on the hammer their is no spell on stormbreaker

Almost 2 years later and everyone is still taking about Stormbreaker not having the same enchantment...
That scene when Thor shoots Iron Man with lightning is a callback to the first Avengers when Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man are fighting.

Storm Breaker does not have the worthiness enchantment that Mjolnir had thus enabling anyone to wield it.
