You can tell she was hurting inside , trying to hold back her tears. You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is your only option! Blessing to you and your family 🙏🏼🥺🥺
I feel like the conversation with your friend was God preparing you for what was to come. That’s scary. Me as a mom and a medical assistant I think would still freak out just because it’s your child.
Okay but like a huge appreciation post to Miguel for literally being the best nino ever. That’s what being a nino is all about. Being there for them when they need you the most. 💕💕💕💕 way to go Miguel! You stepped up & kept calm.
Omg I am in tears hearing this 😭 pobresita Camila 💔 as a mother, I know the hurt you feel when our babies get sick or something happens that is out of our control and we can't help or take it away 😭 you guys did the right thing by calling 911 and THANK YOU for sharing this with us because you are helping more than you know!!!!! I never knew this could happen and now I will be aware if God forbid, it did happen, I'll be prepared and know what to do. Yes it usually happened to kids until 6 years old it’s called a Febrile seizure. This happened to my son as well . He was about 3 years old . It happened at home & again when we were at the ER . Fortunately it doesn’t have long term affects. It is caused by their fever skyrocketing. I had no idea this could happen until it happened to my son! We need to speak about this more !!! My little brother had one while i was holding him .He was only 5 months around his mouth was turning blue he was shaking i was terrified .Ambulance came my parents went to hospital but got transfered to a childrens hospital .Everytime he had fever it would happen .I have 4 kids and doctors say fever is not that bd but i get so worried 😞

As a mommy with a baby who’s only 1 year, I was in tears when you said you don’t wish that upon any mom. I can’t imagine 🥺😢 my heart goes out to you and your baby girl, your family. Praying you all heal and never have to experience that again.

I feel like our time is one of the best gifts we can give. Just being present and in the moment is so important. Im so happy the babies are doing good. That is so terrifying. May the lord look over those precious babies!
Oh my heart! 😩 I can’t even imagine! I mean anytime anything is wrong with our babies us mothers get scared regardless but I can’t imagine having to go through that, I’m glad she is ok! ❤️ I’m so paranoid I’m not even sending my daughter back into class cause covid I ain’t taking no chances with my child getting sick 😖 I remember when my daughter was around 1, she had a virus which they didn’t know what kind but her fever wouldn’t go down so we had to stay in the hospital for like a week & I was a mess 😩 it’s so stressful and you feel so helpless. Keep an eye on her whenever she start getting sick , I know someone her daugthers tends to have febrile seizures every time she gets a slight fever not saying it will happen to Camila but just letting you know it can happen more than once and to keep a close eye whenever she's feeling under the weather . Prayers for you and your family.
its one of those times when you think what “matters” doesn’t, be happy and focus on what makes you and your family happy , we support you and your family ✨!
I balled the whole video. My daughter almost died last year and I know that feeling of being helpless and seeing your baby suffer. Hang in there mama! ❤
The worry and the scare in your voice makes me sad .as mother’s we never want anything happening to our kids and when something does happen it’s scary and we take it so hard as moms we are strong ur strong Evette lots of love and think positive always
From one mom to the other, you are so strong. 🙏 I can’t imagine what you went through. I hope Camilla is doing well! ♥️ After listening to you, I just want to give you a hug & tell you that you are doing great! You are such a great mom! Love you & sending good vibes your way. ♥️
It’s sucks how it takes one unwanted experience to realize the important things in life. And yes, please take all the time time you need to get your personal things together when you need it most and just spend time with family. I totally agree with everything you said. I’ve learned to not take the people I love and the things I love to do or anything that I basically live for, for granted. Take care of yourself because that’s really the foundation of your family’s happiness and ultimately your happiness. Much love to you ☺️💕💕
Prayers and blessing to you girl! So glad Camilla is okay. My daughter happened to get a fever today and I’ve been so paranoid. I feel like you giving us your experience was an eye opener and I’ve been doing my research on these specific type of seizures. You’re an angel in disguise to many of us mamas. Also feel you on another level with the going into your 30s and caring on a different level! It’s insane. But I understand you! Sending you lots of love!
My sister suffers from seizures you’re supposed to lay her on her side, it is hereditary my mother took my sister to various doctors to confirm; I hope it doesn’t happen again because it is scary and heart breaking but if it does lay her on her side and when it passes give her a glass of water give her some fresh air talk to her ♥️🙏
@@DessyLou77 I don’t think so because it can be either parents. My sister was born healthy never had any issues until she turned into her teenage years that’s when the seizures came about. Thankfully we found a specialist and she is controlled by medicine unfortunately but hasn’t had any recently.
My oldest daughter had seizures growing up, it never happened when I was around , it always happened when she was at grandmas or dads, I would freak out by them just telling me what had happened to her , from their experience yes you have to turn them on their side so they don’t choke on their tongue/ or bite it.
YOU are sooo strong!! As a mommy I couldn’t imagine going thru that. I had no idea high fevers can cause seizures thank you for sharing! I’m so glad she’s okay and it wasn’t anything more serious❤️
I like this girl, she always is honest and real with her posts. Never tries to seem like she has a perfect life with perfect kids. I can only imagine what she went through. Thank God your daughter is good.
So scary. That happened to my son twice. He was susceptible to seizures after the 1st so I thankfully knew what to do the second time around. They warned me that it would more than likely happen again and it did. Edit awe girl good heads up with the warning 💖 Praying for y'all
Girl, this is the first time I have heard anyone talk about this openly. This happened to my son when he was ten months and 1 and a half. He’s now 8 and I still deal with the trauma of it but after he turned 6 I felt a little more at ease. The thought of losing your child crosses your mind when you don’t know what is happening. It definitely makes you just appreciate your child’s health on a whole different level. I will say tho, every time my kids are sick I am now the “fever expert” in my family. I freaked out anytime he got sick or got his shots because I associated it with the possibility of getting a fever. The anxiety and thought that it could happen at anytime will be harder to get passed than it actually happening, but just know she will be okay 💕💕our babies are stronger than we know. I researched so much about it AFTER it happened. I wish it was something more people knew about and I appreciate you spreading awareness for other mothers who may benefit from this. This will definitely help someone be more prepared ❤️❤️❤️❤️ prayers to your baby girl and family 💕 I am glad she is doing better. Please take care of yourself too mama, it’s easy to forget about our own well being and mental health after something so traumatic.
Anytime anything involves our kids it shakes us to the core and makes us reevaluate our whole life I completely know the feeling sending love to you and your family 💕❤️
I wish I could hug you right now! I can totally relate. My 15 month old had two seizures while she had a stomach virus that caused her glucose levels to drop significantly. My husband and I were there for both seizures and my daughter fainted after each one occurred. It was horrible and its times like this when we remember how important family is. Remember to take care of yourself, the trauma is real and this experience will help us help other parents out there. Thank you for sharing your story. Love you, girl!
As a mom I really understand how you were feeling. Thank you for this video because it’s true how we often worry about things that don’t matter. I feel like I personally needed this video and I’m really glad you’re baby girl is doing good now. Dios Es bueno y esta con ustedes siempre. I just took my daughter from her bed and am holding her tight tonight. Thank you Blanca for sharing this very personal experience so we as moms can be aware. God bless you and your family💕
You don’t sweat the small shit when life hits you with a traumatic-ass situation. Wishing and praying that babygirl Camila doesn’t go through this again. Happy to hear you got to spend some much needed time with fam and you are all doing better 🤗
I saw this one post that said don’t stress live in the moment because stressing won’t change the outcome of the situation... god won’t make you go through something if your not strong enough to handle it and everything happens for a reason. I’m glad your family is better now ❤️ positive thoughts, energies and prayers for you guys
I totally agree with you! I work a 9-5 and I feel like spend so much time at work that I am barely there for my son :( Sometimes we worry about the wrong things when our babies come first :( don’t feel bad mama💕
You are so strong evette! You can hear the pain in your voice. I feel how you feel when my kids go thru something traumatic like this! Love you all and definitely praying for you all ❤️
Hope Camila feels better God is good he only knows why that happen that day couse he knew you had people around you , as mothers we learn new things every day dont feel bad you are a Amazing mother , buy a really good thermometer and a finger oxygen just to be prepared for anything Thank you for sharing.🙏
Girl...... I completely understand what/how your feeling. I’m 29yrs old and see life differently as well. To enjoy day with my own family and family in general. Life is a blessing! We only have 1 life to live, physically. 😇 Im glad your daughter is ok💚
Girl I am glad she is ok and your family too, I had a stroke at age 18 by myself at home and it’s so scary and thank you I really want to be a mom but it’s hard expecially with lupus
Just watching you explain what happened had me in tears , I don’t even want to imagine having to go through that with my baby. Camila and your whole family will be in my prayers 💕
My heart goes out to you!! I have a son with epilepsy, and after twenty some years, I still can't get used to it. Not all fevers are external, they can be internal too and can't be detected. I have always relied most on Motrin for children rather than Tylenol because it wears off quickly. I’m so glad Camila is much better & that Miguel and Ivette were there to assist you. Anything from teething and any infection which can cause fevers, its just a matter of getting it controlled. I hope and pray for you that its not hereditary....Blessings to you and your family!!!
My daughter who’s also name Camila. Had one this morning at 6:00 AM. I know exactly how you felt. I pray to God and La Virgencita de Guadalupe they never get a seizure again. Thank you for sharing.
Hearing you tell the story made me cry all over again 😢 my son had a febrile seizure at 10 months. I had no idea what he was going through until after the fact, it was by far the scariest moment of my life 💔 when he came back I thanked god so so much I’m so glad Camila is okay! 💕
So sorry to hear that evettexo I hope things get better. I’m an autism mom and I have a son who gets aggressive and it’s hard to watch him struggle with daily life skills that come easy to us and I cry and pray for god to please help him in the time of need and I just wanna hold my son and protect him.😔😔💙🙏
Thank you for sharing this scary experience. Seizures are scary. It’s really important for us to take time for ourselves and our families. We let anxiety, stress, and angry take over/rob us of happiness.
Ughhh Blanca! I’m so sorry Camila and the family had to go through this. I’m not a mother but thank you so much for bringing awareness to this topic and also mentioning how important it is for us to know our parents and our medical history, since it can sometimes be passed down to our children.
this happened to my baby sister when she was 2-3 & it was the scariest thing ever !! she got about 8 seizures within 2 days .. she would even get them in her sleep .. scariest thing ever
It’s so big of you to speak about this honestly and I really appreciate it! being a mom my self hearing you say this gives me the chills! and honesty you talking about it and using your platform to inform other moms is the best! So sorry you had to go through that 😕😞 I have a 2 and a 4 year old and seeing our kids in pain is the worst! So glad Little Camila is ok! bless you and your fam🙏🏻
My daughter had one of these seizures on Christmas Eve morning when she was about 6 months old & I agree, it still to this day was the scariest moments of my life. We woke up that morning to her body seizing & I went into a panic also & still to this day 8 years later I still have terrible anxiety anytime she gets sick even though it’s not as common as old as she is I’m still terrified🥺 I’m Praying for you girl, I definitely relate to exactly how you felt & still are feeling🙏🏼❤️
Thank you for sharing this experience. I can’t imagine, I remember waking up to my son like shaking a bit but it would stop and then again like pulses almost. He was sick so I’m that mom that will have him in my bed and set my alarm every couple hrs to check Him. And I’d still wake up between those alarms. He’s my only son and will probably be the only child. Good for you for taking time off, do it often! Moments like this will ground you to a level you didn’t expect. Glad your back ❤️
It is common but that’s why you have to constantly check there temp. Constantly like every hour when the other sibling is sick Because it rises so fast. Always keep them cold until medical help is needed. 🥺
I lost my grandfather due to covid and stupid things in life don’t matter. Spending time with those you love should be your number one priority. Sending you lots of love Blanca❤️
Moments like this in life make you realize what’s really important! Camila is a strong girl and she’s going to be ok. I pray she never gets no more seizures anymore. God bless your family ♥️
I’ve been through this with a 2 year old. It is the scariest moment of my life. No one will understand unless they’ve got through it. Good job mama!! ❤️❤️
Omg I knew from the beginning of the video in your eyes something really made you sad. 😭 thank you for going through that trauma again to spread awareness. You’re an amazing mama 🤍
I hope she’s doing better I’m so thankful your sharing this because I have my daughter of my own and this is really helpful and really appreciate it ❤️
I’m so sorry you guys went through this especially camila , it definitely is very scary. I have a 3 year old and happy to hear the information you gave about seizures.
I relate 100% to the change as you get closer to your 30's. Completely different person and hyper focused on growth! Love you and praying for your beautiful family ❤
I completely understand. My daughter was 2 years old when she had a seizure. I remember every moment of it and I cry every time I remember. We were recording her being so excited riding the train at the mall when my daughter fell back and I saw her eyes roll back and she started having a seizure. I had to scream for help. A guy took off his jacket and place it on the floor and laid my daughter on it. Mall security came and I remember people surrounding us and praying and I’m like screaming what was wrong with her. People were asking me if she was eating something but she wasn’t when the ambulance arrived she had a fever of 104. Something at the emergency room they gave her Motrin and observed her and got discharged. I had to balance Motrin and Tylenol so I set up alarms on my phone. Since then I’m always stock up in children’s Motrin and children’s Tylenol and I purchased a thermometer. Gracias a dios she did not have anymore and she is completely fine now. But my son 2 years ago also suffer a seizure in Mexico while we were in vacation he caught a stomach flu and had fever. The good thing is that I already knew what to do so I right away tan and got the Motrin and took off his clothes and turned on the fans and got a cold wet small towel and placed it on his forehead thank gif as well I was able to bring it down. But we had to admit him for 2 days at a private hospital in Mexico because the flu was soo strong that his fevers kept coming up. If one of my kiddos is getting sick I always give both Motrin because the chances of one catching what the other has is very high. So I prevent them having any fever at all. Take your time girlie I would take longer time.
Sending prayers 🙏🏽 thank you for sharing about your personal life I can see how hard it was. As a 1st time mom I really appreciate ppl like you opening up about things we can’t control, because we can relate so much. May God protect y’all & keep y’all safe 💜
Omg sister!! Went through the exact same thing, i got the chills!! No one will understand and it totally puts life into perspective 🥺 the feeling in that moment freezes...the paramedics came in 5 minutes too but felt like forever. it took us a while to heal from seeing our daughter seize. But i promise it gets better! And makes it more sad that they have no idea! I’m so sad you went through this. Praying for you guys!!
I was once walking out of target and a girl got one and I literally ran to her and helped her ( I was a nurse a years ago) and her mom was freaking out and her sister too and they were so thankful I helped Every thought I didn’t know them I felt sick to my stomach and they were in my mind for days. Prayers for you and your family ❤️ Glad to hear you enjoyed time with your family 💗
so glad camila is ok ❤️🙏🏼 life humbles us so quickly, life is precious and we are not promised tmmrw . learn to live in the present moment instead of worrying whats next
Next time try to hold rubbing alcohol or Onion by her nose for her to snap out of it, i would always do and it works! That moment you dont think about nothing but if you remember something have it be that.... hope she’s better 💕💕
This video just had me in tears you can see the fear in your eyes as a mom of 2 girls and one under 5 I couldn't help that gut feeling I'm soo glad bby girl is ok money comes and goes but your family is only once in a life time your doing an amazing job ♥️
Oh my gosh! I’m so teary eyed 🥺 I have 2 girls under 4 and I would go insane if this were to happen to me. Gosh your a strong mama and I could only imagine how emotional you feel even thinking about it 💔💔 I’m so sorry this happened to you but I’m so happy your friend educated you on this because you were aware 😭🥺
My daughter is literally Camila’s age & my heart goes out to you! I hope Camila is doing better & primeramente Dios this is the first & last time it happens🥺 The talk you gave at the end of the video was literally an eye opening, it made ME realize how much I need to get closer to God & focus on him. God bless you & your family with so much health & happiness 💗
So glad Camila is ok. Poor little mama 😔. 🙏🏽 Glad you also took time for your mental health that’s so important. We can be so hard on ourselves especially as Mother’s/Parents. It isn’t easy! You’re doing a Great Job! Don’t forget that!
This happened to my oldest it was the scariest time my daughter would have them when she got fever and would have them once a year until she turned 4 thank God no damage was done to her she is happily going to be 10 next month. God bless your family
Thank you so much for sharing I’m a first time mom, I have a 9month baby boy and just the thought of this happening to my baby scares the life out of me! I’m so glad to hear that Camila is doing good and I hope that your family continue to be happy and healthy❤️

Thank God your baby girl is okay & I’m hoping that she doesn’t have to go through something like that again. You’re so right as moms we tend to overthink & sweat the small things, things that shouldn’t even matter or deserve so much energy at times... for example I needed this video for me to just take a step back and reevaluate my life & what MOST matters. Wishing your family great health & happiness love. ❤️
I truly appreciate that you're sharing your experience.
Much love to you ☺️💕💕
Our babies get sick and it puts things into perspective for sure! Family is always what keeps us grounded for sure! Your an amazing Mom
My sister suffers from seizures you’re supposed to lay her on her side, it is hereditary my mother took my sister to various doctors to confirm; I hope it doesn’t happen again because it is scary and heart breaking but if it does lay her on her side and when it passes give her a glass of water give her some fresh air talk to her ♥️🙏
Does it matter which side ?
Literally was choked up the whole video. I couldn’t imagine being in that situation with my kids. So scary! Glad Camila is okay. 💕
Edit awe girl good heads up with the warning 💖
Praying for y'all
Girl, this is the first time I have heard anyone talk about this openly.
Omg im a mom of a 2 year old baby girl and I never knew of this.. thank you for sharing with us. Sending you prayers ❤🙏
Anytime anything involves our kids it shakes us to the core and makes us reevaluate our whole life I completely know the feeling sending love to you and your family 💕❤️
I’m a mother and I literally cried throughout the whole video. I do not wish this feeling upon anyone. 😭
Sorry you guys had to go through this , take as much time as you need . We will be here waiting for you !✨
As a mom I really understand how you were feeling.
Same girl 💖
Praying for you can’t imagine how scary that just have been 💕
Just watching you explain what happened had me in tears , I don’t even want to imagine having to go through that with my baby. Camila and your whole family will be in my prayers 💕
My nephew had them when he was 4 yrs old it was the most scariest thing I ever seen. Prayers for ur lil girl... stay safe
Pray the rosary 📿💐
Hearing you tell the story made me cry all over again 😢 my son had a febrile seizure at 10 months. I had no idea what he was going through until after the fact, it was by far the scariest moment of my life 💔 when he came back I thanked god so so much
I’m so glad Camila is okay!
My heart broke when you started talking about Camila🥺🥺so glad she’s okay❤️
Praying for lil Camila 🙏💕 & your beautiful family Evette! 💕 So sad she experienced that and I hope & pray that she never goes through that again. 🙏
I am so sorry you had to go through this Blanca. I also wanna say I’m so proud of the strong woman and mom you’ve become.
My daughter had one of these seizures on Christmas Eve morning when she was about 6 months old & I agree, it still to this day was the scariest moments of my life. We woke up that morning to her body seizing & I went into a panic also & still to this day 8 years later I still have terrible anxiety anytime she gets sick even though it’s not as common as old as she is I’m still terrified🥺
I’m Praying for you girl, I definitely relate to exactly how you felt & still are feeling🙏🏼❤️
To whoever sees this message , I hope your having an amazing day !!!!
You as well love 💕
Likewise
Thank you, you as well 🙏
You as well! Thank you 💙
Moments like this in life make you realize what’s really important! Camila is a strong girl and she’s going to be ok. I pray she never gets no more seizures anymore. God bless your family ♥️
I am epileptic and my parents went through a lot with me. They would understand you best. Best wishes to Camilla!
I’ve been through this with a 2 year old. It is the scariest moment of my life. No one will understand unless they’ve got through it. Good job mama!! ❤️❤️
God is always with them. God is amazing.
Omg I knew from the beginning of the video in your eyes something really made you sad. 😭 thank you for going through that trauma again to spread awareness. You’re an amazing mama 🤍
Reading all the comments makes me realize how common it really is and I never knew about it either 🥺
It’s true sometimes you need to catch a breath of fresh air and regroup. Stay strong and hug your babies closer. ❤️
You are one strong momma. I’m not a mom yet but I know that If that ever happened I would be so scared. I hope y’all are in a better place❤️
cried at work watching this. I'm a new mom, and this was very helpful. I'm sorry you went through that, so glad your baby is okay.
I was once walking out of target and a girl got one and I literally ran to her and helped her ( I was a nurse a years ago) and her mom was freaking out and her sister too and they were so thankful I helped
Every thought I didn’t know them I felt sick to my stomach and they were in my mind for days.
Prayers for you and your family ❤️
Glad to hear you enjoyed time with your family 💗
You’re a strong mamma and your daughter reflects that🤍 she’s going to get better and you guys will get through this.🙏🏼 glad she’s doing better
This just happened to me and my husband with our 2 year old last Tuesday. It was the exact same thing a febrile seizure. It all happened so fast
so glad camila is ok ❤️🙏🏼 life humbles us so quickly, life is precious and we are not promised tmmrw . learn to live in the present moment instead of worrying whats next
Next time try to hold rubbing alcohol or Onion by her nose for her to snap out of it, i would always do and it works! That moment you dont think about nothing but if you remember something have it be that.... hope she’s better 💕💕
Hold it where?
@@hmaria6692 by there nose
Stay strong mama , I’m glad camila is ok 💕
It hits home when it comes to babies especially when it’s your own .
The older we get the more we worried about life and specially with kids. Sucks to be adults.
I hope Camila is doing better & primeramente Dios this is the first & last time it happens🥺
The talk you gave at the end of the video was literally an eye opening, it made ME realize how much I need to get closer to God & focus on him. God bless you & your family with so much health & happiness 💗
I cried listening putting myself in that situation.🥺 Can’t imagine .
Experienced this with my 10 month old on New Year’s Day hands down the most scariest and hardest day of my life. So glad she is doing better! 🙏🏼💕
This brought back memories to when my brother used to have his seizures . They truly are the scariest thing to experience
😰😣 ay blanca i know exactly that feeling my baby boy got his first seizer when he turned 1 i had no idea what was going on but the 3

I’m a mom of two, my 4 year old boy & my 6 months baby girl. Thank you so much for sharing this information. I now feel like I know what to do if any of my kids experience any of this, god forbid. ❤️
Thankyou for informing us about this traumatic experience 🥺 I hope Camilas doing better!! ❣️❣️❣️
