Slimelung will spread in the mushroom farm unless the container is in liquid. Also, the extra unused space in hatch farms can be used for storage containers.
Always good to see a return to ONI. I do have some critiques of your schedules that you show at 8:05, with explanation: #1: 3 sleep blocks. A dupe will head to their bed at the start of the first sleep block, unless occupied in a recreation task (in which case, they'll finish that first, then head to bed), and will remain in the bed until the *later* of reaching 100% stamina or hitting the end of the last sleep block. If you watch your sleeping dupes, they are almost certainly hitting 100% stamina after 1-1.5 hours. Note that they will absolutely sleep into work blocks if they haven't reached 100% stamina. #2: The classic "downtime first or sleep first" issue. Personally, I come down on the side of downtime first. Dupes get the morale bonus from downtime blocks spent traveling, doing bathroom>food>recreation, so I'm absolutely in agreement with putting downtime before bedtime, unless you have certain recreation types (such as beach chairs) that cause dupes to just skip sleep. #3: Dupes will shower during downtime if you give them showers, so the separate shower block is really rather vestigial.
Definitely happy to see more of this. I'm curious that you don't use infinite storage rather than a million boxes, though, of course, ONI has infinite ways of doing things.
Hope this continues :) For the top row of mushrooms, to avoid the CO2 escaping, you could change the room entrance so the dupes climb into the room from above instead of from the side
After learning SO MUCH from Your Factorio work and watching Your Timberborn work for entertainment I'm delighted to see You also play ONI, which I just bought.
lmao, Ive been watching quite a lot of factorio master class recently and also was trying to find vids about oxyxen not included and you release this today 🤣🤣🤣
The toilet overflow is going to overflow pee water, not clean water (was that your intent?). To store clean water, move the bridge to the doors on the right side so that it prioritizes filling up the machines then overflows clean water to the reservoir below.
Abslutely loved this video. I tried to play this game and didnt understand anything. This video helped get the basics altho it was quite fast paced. Will watch the older ONI Series :D
I bought this game a couple of years back but I've not played it very much. Tried three or four times but nver got very far so I'm interested to see how you tackle the game. Please continue.
I could swear I remember them fixing ranching at some point so there’s no need to hack the room like they all just line up so there’s no travel time waiting anymore
Yeah, 2 more will queue to be groomed at any time. However, I normally restrict my hatches to 9 tiles wide so I only need one autosweeper for the eggs.
oni ... bathrooms sink 8 outhouse 9 always they are mandatory to be built FIRST day ... best use of them ... door showr 3 sinks 3 outhouses and a sink ... door bin for compostabes ... 2 composters with air scrubber at vent at ceiling .. (compost room needs space for 3 composters) grey door yellow door grey door air purifier ... instant air lock nopower needed and it cleans the ai as it moves out iot the bathroom and again as it moves out past yet another air purifier .. the you get your 8bed bunkhouse and space for a triage bed and massage bed outside the door by the ladder . also 5 farms either side of the pod sets excellent spacing and provides mea lice for lice loaf ... above that do the yellow farms 7 aside with a 2 air vent spot for the fertilizer then each grow bed has a light above and water which doubles as base temp control to feed the other starter plant .... and it keeps everything tied to the bunkhouse size operating toggling life support and doctoring ... combat as well should be maxed for all ... the combat only happens when you select it so it doesnt really matter but at max it gets done first ... after that ... farm/ rancher ... as a dupe ... dig/ mine as a dupe ... research as a dupe and supply/store/build 1 as a dupe .... you need 1 research 1 cook 2 dig 2 farm and 2 supply ... your best dupes to start with are a researcher and a pair of diggers builders .... then get farm and supply dupes .... they ONLY get the default 5 and their specialties as max ... the rest are normal ... so farming ranchers get farm and ranching .... digger miner only add dig and mine ... etc ... the farmers will dig once their jobs are done ... or tidy etc ... by priority and by like.... supply guys get build point and the rest maxing out to supply and getting mechanical enngineer for automation work ... all dupes max their specialties and get supply basic so they carry more ... cooks can help farm or research but are best as cook doctors ... once you have the 8 main ... they can run on shift with 3 potties safely ... when you start the second shift you must have a second bathroom airlock setup running ... not building ... running ... as 16 dupes will use 3 potties fully and make messes but 6 potties and they rarely make a mess ... power first 2 power systems are food and plants ... and research and oxygen ... BOTH need 3 wheel and 2 large bats or 6 small so the 1k line always has potential to be max charged when all wheels are in use ... set to 6 priority ... or 7 ... third system should be set for 20k wire work so 8 wheels and large bats ... and transformers to run to all grids ... 4 1k and 2 2k is usual need ... with a build like this you can use 16 people on 2 shifts and compete anything in a decent time frame ad sustain yourself .... once you go off world sending a supplier mech engineer is best as they can dig and build fast anyway ... send the researcher to toggle machines on as needed
meal lice is fine liceloaf is better as it gives more for less ... and can be fed to animals as well ... i really should send you a save of one of my games ... so you can see a much better way to setup the base ...
I like ONI, but late game is pain in the ass. Systems tend to break, and are nightmarish to fix. It clearly lacks blueprint system, copy/paste tools, or a way to keep track on your production/consumption per planetoid.
I never enjoy making rockets and their interiors, colonising multiple asteroids is annoying, ok once stable but it gets repetitive. For those who feel the same way theres a mod on steam called single asteroid with everything.
Nice, great to see ONI again
I always like your ONI playthroughs. Between the neat designs and goofy mistakes they're always a bunch of fun to watch.
have my vote to continue the series!
Yes! One of my favorite ONI creators!
Nice, I love the skewed asteroid start!
YESSSSSSSS, the Niman will take over alllll automation games, aaaaalllll!
Spread the purple mist
Slimelung will spread in the mushroom farm unless the container is in liquid. Also, the extra unused space in hatch farms can be used for storage containers.
Nice, really liked the last series. Def will follow this one. Keep up the good work :)
Always good to see a return to ONI.

I hope Nilaus does not read the comment section.
Ooooo Yes please please continue the series !!
Awesome! Love this game, great job Nilaus !
I love this new series. Hope you continue this one 👍
definitely looking forward to more of this!
ONI ! Finally ! Instant like.
Great to see oni again! I've been loving the lab map
Yay, ONI!
Would love to see more of this
This is fun to watch, please continue
Definitely keep making this series. I’ve learned new stuff about this game I didn’t know existed.
After learning SO MUCH from Your Factorio work and watching Your Timberborn work for entertainment I'm delighted to see You also play ONI, which I just bought.
Love it! Can't wait to see more
Oni is that game that keeps briging you back. I've been playing on and off for 6 years
@Nilaus you can use the extra space in ranches as storage rooms instead of having them at the bottom of your base
lmao, Ive been watching quite a lot of factorio master class recently and also was trying to find vids about oxyxen not included and you release this today 🤣🤣🤣
More Oni love! Thank you for playing.
Yay!!! ONI!!!
Yes! I had to leave the live stream too early, hoping to see more ONI here! 🎉
P.S. Sorry for the pee.
The toilet overflow is going to overflow pee water, not clean water (was that your intent?). To store clean water, move the bridge to the doors on the right side so that it prioritizes filling up the machines then overflows clean water to the reservoir below.
we'll see if he changes it next video :) some people do that to save on filter material *shrug*
Looking forward to a new ONI playthrough! :)
Yes, continue please!
keep going i liked the vid
Well chuffed you are back on ONI 👍
Such speed! Much amaze
Abslutely loved this video. I tried to play this game and didnt understand anything. This video helped get the basics altho it was quite fast paced. Will watch the older ONI Series :D
ONI is fun! Keep it going
Please more. I am learning so much.
I vote for more ONI -- as much as I like Dyson Sphere and such, I only seem to enjoy watching ONI.
Factorio - ONI - Dyson in that order don't care for the first person style series like Satisfactory for some reason
Haven't the lab before, nice to see some ONI again!
I bought this game a couple of years back but I've not played it very much. Tried three or four times but nver got very far so I'm interested to see how you tackle the game. Please continue.

big ONI fan here!
Love it!
Please more! 😊
Nice!
It's nice to get a tutorial for this game mode
Yay I just got back into it too!
I love this game!!
please continue with the playthrough im starting too with one 😁
love it! Why are they making a mess!? I get the same thing. When no starting dupe has tidying and the priority is 5 no one loads in the dirt.
Yeppie- ONI!
this isn't english O.o
Yesssssss!!!!
awesome
Love your content. But I always appreciate when a link to the steam page is included 😅
oni ... bathrooms sink 8 outhouse 9 always they are mandatory to be built FIRST day ... best use of them ... door showr 3 sinks 3 outhouses and a sink ... door bin for compostabes ... 2 composters with air scrubber at vent at ceiling .. (compost room needs space for 3 composters) grey door yellow door grey door air purifier ... instant air lock nopower needed and it cleans the ai as it moves out iot the bathroom and again as it moves out past yet another air purifier .. the you get your 8bed bunkhouse and space for a triage bed and massage bed outside the door by the ladder
.
also 5 farms either side of the pod sets excellent spacing and provides mea lice for lice loaf ... above that do the yellow farms 7 aside with a 2 air vent spot for the fertilizer then each grow bed has a light above and water which doubles as base temp control to feed the other starter plant .... and it keeps everything tied to the bunkhouse size
operating toggling life support and doctoring ... combat as well should be maxed for all ... the combat only happens when you select it so it doesnt really matter but at max it gets done first ... after that ... farm/ rancher ... as a dupe ... dig/ mine as a dupe ... research as a dupe and supply/store/build 1 as a dupe ....
you need 1 research 1 cook 2 dig 2 farm and 2 supply ... your best dupes to start with are a researcher and a pair of diggers builders .... then get farm and supply dupes .... they ONLY get the default 5 and their specialties as max ... the rest are normal ... so farming ranchers get farm and ranching .... digger miner only add dig and mine ... etc ... the farmers will dig once their jobs are done ... or tidy etc ... by priority and by like.... supply guys get build point and the rest maxing out to supply and getting mechanical enngineer for automation work ...
all dupes max their specialties and get supply basic so they carry more ... cooks can help farm or research but are best as cook doctors ... once you have the 8 main ... they can run on shift with 3 potties safely ... when you start the second shift you must have a second bathroom airlock setup running ... not building ... running ... as 16 dupes will use 3 potties fully and make messes but 6 potties and they rarely make a mess ...
power first 2 power systems are food and plants ... and research and oxygen ...
Please continue!
Yay ONI
Play what you find fun and we will find it fun with you.
F'n love this game
Always down for an ONI run.
Please continue :)
Please more !!
❤
just a lil question, why not build you water storage tanks with mesh blocks so they can hold more?
Continue, please.
🎉
You "O"tate in this game 😂
90 degrees tilt hurts my brain
I like ONI, but late game is pain in the ass. Systems tend to break, and are nightmarish to fix. It clearly lacks blueprint system, copy/paste tools, or a way to keep track on your production/consumption per planetoid.
Nice)
Do you not get germs with that washroom loop?
I never enjoy making rockets and their interiors, colonising multiple asteroids is annoying, ok once stable but it gets repetitive. For those who feel the same way theres a mod on steam called single asteroid with everything.
Playlist this series please
And please continue it
Go for ONI
DO IT
Yes! Let's pee on the floor!
ONI, the best game i ever played. I love it ❤
