I just attached this hitch to my 2010 Lexus RX450H by myself, without a lift, and I did it in one hour. it is the easiest addition to my Lexus tow system. BTW, I am an environmental professional with zero auto-mechanic experience.
We have installed a lot of hitches on vehicles. Hopefully we were able to show this installation in a way that you can install this yourself at home. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Curt/C13143.html
The installation process is very similar for a 2017 model year. The 2017 does not use this exact hitch though. You can check out the link to see the hitches we offer for a 2017 Lexus RX 450h: www.etrailer.com/hitch-2017_Lexus_RX+450h.htm We also include a link for the installation instructions on the product page of each hitch.

Hi Ugo, I am planning to do this. Any other tips or links I should reference? Thanks for your help.
@@carinc01 The install is simple, just follow the instructions that comes with the hitch. It is really a plug and play type install.
You made it look easy..
