RVing tip...Don't replace the Blue Rhino at an exchange center, take the container to a Tractor Supply or a business that will refill. It is cheaper and you get the max available for your container. Blue Rhino refills are never filled to the max allowable level. Enjoying your show...Thank you.
Howdy Y'all! Sometimes I punch up one of your older camping vlogs just for background noise. On this vlog, with my good phone speakers, the water at about 17 minutes sounds so cool!! I dream of spring and summer. I think maybe I need to go to the sunnier places at least for part of the winter. It would make me appreciate my home. That's how its always worked for me anyway✌️❤️🤣😉 I've been living in North Idaho since 1991. When I lived in Mammoth at least it was sunny...unless there was a blizzard blowing onto your dashboard when you opened the car door!! It was more work for sure in the winter. Lots of shoveling!!! This winter has been sucky. Not much snow, allota rain, and very rarely some sunshine. C'mon Spring!!!!!!!! I enjoy armchair traveling with you guys, because you are cool!
Have you ever grown Lemon Basil? The seeds might be hard to find. But growing them is easy. They also self sow. Also if you prune them back down when they started to flower, you cane get lots of new growth. I just love the smell and taste. Lemon basil, zest or juice of lemon just bumps up all the flavors.
The famous words of Cody you are now "up town high rent"....LOVE IT! Have you ever panned for gold in some of the streams you camp near? Also you can refill your 1 lb. propane bottles from a 20 lb. tank.
As a fella from down at fl/al line, I like a southern accent, an words we use ,ya'll, them fixings look good also little lady ,try fishing at sunrise, that's when some bugs move around and fish r hungry after all night, ready to hit anything
Hi !! I'm a new subscriber, and I just love your guys channel. So incredibly grateful to have found your guys channel. Looking forward to more episodes !! Take care and God Bless !!
Great campsite. A couple propane tips: no need to buy a gauge, they are not precise, and not necessary. Since propane is a liquid (LPG) you can weigh the bottle to determine how much is in the bottle. Just look on the handle to get the “tare weight” (TW), and subtract that from the total weight of the bottle. Propane weighs almost 4 pounds per gallon. After a bit you will be able to pick up the bottle and tell when you are getting low. Also, if you exchange your bottle you will not be getting a full refill. You are better off to take it to a dealer that refills your tank, and sells by the gallon. Tractor Supply stores usually have propane refill for example. Be careful for the dealers that charge a flat fee if your tank is not completely empty.
I really enjoy your videos! Kelly I have learned some great new camping meals! We live in Nebraska but I’m from Colorado! So camping was a big part of my life growing up! We go a few times a year! This year we are going to Wyoming!
OMG! That pasta dish is to die for! We just made it on the weekend and it was soooo delicious! Thanks for sharing. We will definitely be following you guys!
As a RVIA master certified tech, I don’t recommend the lp gauge that connects between the tank service valve and the appliances. These gauges often fail and because they still read that the is full, people usually never remove the gauge fo troubleshooting resulting in aggravation for $20 wasted. Try the ‘condensation’ trick or get stick on decals if you really need to know. Honestly, from watching your vids, getting a #20 bbq style tank and purchasing your lp from sellers that sell ‘by the gallon’ is a great way to monitor your seasonal lp usage and saves money. One price tank fills or exchanges usually cost you a lot more. In reality the best thing you could buy when switching to a #20 or larger larger rank is a pressure regulator. Because this tanks can deliver more volume than the one pound little green bottles. Personal note, had I used a $15 regulator when using my Weber Q100 grill I wouldn’t have had to replace its $50 control valve. Oh well, at least I’m still here to learn new things. Lol see you outside!
Another great video! Ok, Kelly, the part when you were making the Scones. More detail about the recipe please! Those looked amazing! Also, I sure hope you have a weather radio. Camping close to those creeks and rivers can end up devastating. Some places in Arkansas today had some flooding that was devastating. PLEASE keep track of the weather and be very safe. Thanks for another amazing video!
Several ways you can judge propane amount. One way is to (weigh) the container. Another way is (temperature) difference on the outside of container, the liquid gas is colder than the empty portion of the container.
Loved the video!! Always love the videos!! Kathy and I are looking to get a Dutch oven and try some of your recipes. The scones and the pizza especially!! And we can’t wait to look for crystals! The small ones are the coolest!! A million thanks!!
Take your empty propane tank to Tractor Supply. They refill it (20 lbs) for about $13. It’s the cheapest option and you get 5 more pounds than swapping with blue rhino.
Great stuff, as usual. Can you, now, fly drones in a national forest? Or, is it just national parks you can’t fly in? I always keep mine close and low to the ground anyway. 😄
Thank you! It’s National Parks, National Rivers, National Monument, National Wildlife Refuges, and Wildernesses that you cannot fly a drone in. It is all good to fly in National Forest, BLM Lands, and National Grasslands.
i'm 34. i have three kids. i have 9+ years of "higher education". i have heard the term, read the term, used the term....but I'm still gonna have to look up al dente pasta to make sure...what that means🤣🤣 Nice vid y'all.
We are looking for a Gazebo/Shelter to back up our pick up truck (with the Napier Truck Tent) into ... similar to how you have backed up ur car into ur shelter ..what is the interior height of your shelter? And did you say it had walls? Can u provide the link to your shelter please?
This is the Ozark trails 10x10 canopy. Purchased at Walmart. The height is 6 ft on the sides. The center is probably 10ft. The side walls are purchased separately at Walmart also Ozark trails brand.
My parents had a mobile home in Daisy. We would stay in Texarkana during the week, and come up to Daisy on the weekends. Did that from age about 5-12 every weekend. My dad and mom both had a good job in Texarkana and rented a small place there to stay during the week and would go back on the weekends. Once my parents got a divorce I did not get to go back anymore.
Have Kelli watch our dutch oven tacos on our channel, grey goose adventures. We missed you guys by two days in mesa Verde Colorado. We would have freaked out if we ran into you!!!! David and Juanita

I love this camping spot!

I love camping in Arkansas. One of my goals is to visit every state park. There is nothing like cooking outside, everything taste so yummy.

What's that quote, early to bed early to rise makes man healthy, wealthy, & wise.
You got it
Place a cold wet towel on the side of a propane tank. And remove,it will show a level line of how much is left in the tank
Beautiful! Are you two cutting back? Where’s the bacon and olive bread in the oven?
Those crystals are amazing. Is Arkansas known for crystals? What will you do with them all? What kind are they?
Arkansas is know for quartz crystals. We won’t keep all of them but Kellie makes jewelry or just display them around the house.
Go to your local co-op or Tractor Supply to refill your propane tank. It’s a LOT cheaper than exchanging it at the store.
Ha! I'm a southerner.Lol when I was in Minnesota they use ask me. What you fixin?
I was hoping you could include a description on a map of the places you camp at to help visitors locate your spots in the future.
