As someone who has watched all of s1 I can proudly say this show will hit you in the feels in more ways than one, so if you're looking for cute, lovable characters, wholesomeness and heavy feels, the Yakuza's guide is perfect
This anime is one of the best of the summer season 2022, the relationship between Yaeka and Kirishima is very tender, I hope it will have a second season.
Truly amazing series. It covers the entire range of emotion from incredibly sweet to anger and sadness. The music is poignant, always a wonderful counterbalance to the scene. Will be action but slow piano music in background. The VA's for Kirishima, Yaeka and the boss are amazing and Yaeka is so damn sweet. Anya is cute but mostly funny, Yaeka is just adorable. Definitely deserves season 2.
This anime was the first time that something actually caught my heart so bad, Maybe cause I saw all the affection and concern that is given to Yaeka and how I was affected by the lack of it in my chieldhood, also seeing how Yaeka learn from her mistakes and actually feel bad about it, something that I lost with time. Also cause her relashion ship with Kirishima is so cute and well developed that is impossible to not love them. I saw some comments on the internet about Yaeka, and, they were about... yknow, uuugh, doing things with her. and my wish was to make this people *REALLY UNHAPPY* (if you understand what I'm sayin)

Just to remember, in addition to the sub-story of the girl with the dolls, according to what I heard when Haruka was kidnapped, she intercepted the operation and even faced Shinmano when I claimed him (I think she went that way, I don't remember if it was to save her or fight Kiryu, although I think it was both together)
Again! I’ve said this on a number of anime’s in the last couple of years, but I can’t shake the feeling that Japan is inching towards the idea of people having and raising more kids. Seriously, this, Dragonmaid, Arifureti of all things for a few episodes, Shield Hero to a degree, and many more that I can’t think of the names of at the moment all seem to point in this direction, and it’s become a particularly popular genre as of late.
Japan is one of the countries that is having lower and lower childbirth rates, its becoming harder to work in japan so many people are foregoing marriage recently. they rarely have children outside of marriage so they've noticed that their population is starting to decline. Korea is also in the same boat but they are more into encouraging intercultural marriages as well. Korea has a lot of visa programs to encourage people to come ad live there which they hope will help start to increase population again.
I was actuslly so surprised with this anime as i orignallty thougjt it was gonna tske them till episode 12 for them to devolp the bond they have. I have seen other animes like this where eother the child is mischovpus and hates their new babysister until something happens thst changes that feeling

A wired anime i didn't like it is not cool see a child interacting with an adul man like that way especially the time he saw her again and told she is grown 🤢
He knew her as a baby and acted as a babysitter back then too. He means absolutely nothing gross by it any more than if he were an uncle who hadn’t seen her for a couple of years, or a grandparent who hadn’t seen her for a few months. The series is really wholesome and endearing in regards to their interactions. He does nothing inappropriate with her, acting more like an uncle/older brother figure who is there for her in ways her father would be. The fact that you think “wow, look how you’ve grown!” being said to a child has sick implications says more about you than this series.
