This is a good representation of general push hands practice. Invest in loss - is difficult to understand but if you force the win you lose even though you may have won in that moment in truth you failed to learn. Here you can clearly see Liang Dehua using listen stick yield neutralise and attack in the correct moments. nice video respects.
I learned to do this nearly 50 years ago, Peng, Lu, Ji, An, then walking style. It took everything to get into a 'meditative' state with a cooperative partner. Our goal was to keep up the balanced 'sparring' as long as possible. It was a lot of fun. We never went into competitive push hands, tuishou, etc., but after a few months, we learned how to to apply this separately in Ti Fang exercises, and stick, follow, lead applications. Back then, we learned the 'sparring' cooperation and the 'competitive' applications as separate exercises. I think modern purely competitive Push hands takes the fun out of the process... I think they miss some of the relaxation of the process?
Liang is an excellent teacher, the student that he working with is also good. Great vid.

great stuff...beautiful way to spread the art
Good stuff.
How to get invited to these events? It would be such an honour.
These are likley seminars you need to pay to attend. Invitation based cross training doesn't really happen anymore.
