Playing this for my spring concert! Where my trumpets at? Think this is a great way for me to be leaving my middle school. Kinda wish I could stay another year bc I love middle school band.
My high school band played this when we went to play at some of the nearby elementary schools... We had a little kid come up and 'conduct'.. Music is quite difficult to play when you don't have a guide to keep you all together :p It was a lot of fun to play though, very nostalgic :)
Auxiliary percussion...my director made me stand in front of the audience for a lil slide whistle solo and it was the absolute peak of my musical career lmao
We were going to get it but our band director decided to do a song called disco lives and at the concert when the song got to YMCA the parents started to do the dance and it was hilarious

And before animainiacs our director uses a whistle(like a real march)and for the glissando we use a slide whistle.
