- In today's vlog we explore one of the most picturesque places in all of Vietnam... NINH BINH! Come along with us as we experience everything this small town has to offer from taking a local row boat through Trang An, hiking to the top of a mountain and going to some lesser known places such as The Van Long Wetlands.

Oh & we should probably introduce ourselves...
We are Benny and Meeka, a travel couple from Australia who have been travelling on and off for 10 years and even lived in the UK from 2019 - 2021.
We are currently in SE Asia and are making our way back to the UK to reunite with our Mercedes Sprinter van we purchased before the world shut down and we left back to Aus.
About 3 months ago we decided to document our travels as we make our way across the globe, so join us for the ride.

In saying that, we have a lot to learn in the filming world and please note we filmed everything with our iPhone, but have currently upgraded our equipment so our videos will be better quality in the future.

Beautiful video. We were blown away by the boat ride too. I was in a trance watching the rhythm of the boat rower. And our lady was so positive, smiling throughout the rowing too even though it's very difficult work. I really admire and respect the Vietnamese we met on our trip.

Your drone shots were absolutely beautiful!! Probably the most amazing work I've seen so far of the gorgeous views around Ninh Binh. You should have taken a drone shot of you guys up on the dragon like "Flora and Note" did. Meeka looked beautiful sitting at the front of the boat facing you as the boat moved forward...totally Instagrammable. I think she'd look fantastic decked out in the traditional Vietnamese ao dai and the hat. :) But she had many beautiful IG moments in this video.

Ninh Binh is truly a magical place to explore! 😍 We would have lovedddd to take drone footage when we were up the mountain but it was so crowded in the afternoon you couldn't even sit! id recommend going at sunrise if possible. The traditional clothing is such a cool idea, we will have to try this 🤭

Also, were you on the boat when you were taking drone shots or were you on the land? We are thinking of heading there near end of this year and hence my questions. Thanks. 🙏🏻
We landed in Hanoi! We were in the boat when we flew the drone ☺️🙏🏽

I love how the map falsely describe the length of each route XD, they're all about the same length yet route 2 looks shorter XD.
