Thank you for the turorial! It was easy to follow and you explained everything thoroughly. The blanket I made turned out beautifully, despite not having crocheted for years. I'll definitely be following more of your tutorials 💜
Thank you Jo, fantastic tutorial. Blanket turned out great! My only problem was on the last round of the border I wasn't paying attention and accidentally crocheted right past the joining spot😅. Took me a minute to figure out what happened
Hello! I actually included this answer in the FAQ in the written pattern but I'll copy it here as well: Can I Use a Different Yarn Weight or Hook Size? This pattern was designed using size 3 (light) yarn and a K/10.5 (6.50 mm) hook. You are of course welcome to try different yarn weights as well as hook sizes but the overall look, feel and size of the blanket as well as the amount of yarn required may be different. As much as I wish I could help, I can’t recommend a hook size for a different yarn weight or tell you how much yarn you will need since I’ve only designed this pattern using size 3 (light) yarn and a K/10.5 (6.50 mm) hook.

Looks exciting….a bit confusing…but will be fun?!
Hello! This is a very easy baby blanket pattern. :) If you are confused by anything at all, I'm here to help.
Very pretty pattern. How many yards of 3 weight yarn for this blanket?😊
Thank you! All the details including the amount of yarn required can be found here: jototheworld.com/modern-baby-blanket-crochet-pattern
Do you have to do Row 1 crocheting into back ridge loops?
Hi there! I recommend working into the back ridge loops on Row 1 (only) to avoid gaps/holes when you add the border.
Do you use the larger hook to create a drapier blanket?
Yes exactly! Using a light weight yarn and a large hook gives the blanket excellent drape :)
Can you tell me how this pattern would work with Pound of Love? With hook size and number of stitches?
