Starscreams screen time was never wasted in this movie I always appreciate how badass his transformations were, the street scene with ironhide and ratchet will always be a top 5 moment for me , entrance/exit from the scene 10/10 best star scream we ever got imo
The cgi for these movies was on another level, especially for 2007
i love how Megatron says that Optimus fights for the weak and then he just gets destroyed by soldiers and fighter jets
You telling me many transformers could withstand that? Megatron Kinda backed up his arguments in this movie as Optimus was getting flung around like rag doll that entire battle.
And that is why they went to such great lengths to shut down the human's airpower

@@honnorgaurd if you’re referring to the forest fight in the second movie? Hardly.. Because looking at that movie as a whole Megatron was still pretty strong. Optimus just adapted and became a better fighter.
I'm so happy that in transformers movies, the military is actually helpful. In like every other movie to exist or show, the military is heavily nerfed just so the plot can go on, and shows the military getting their ass kicked, but in movies like these, they're actually doing stuff and can even hold their own with the right equipment.

Back in the good old days in 2007 where everything is simple and yet fun at the same time. And when Transformers look like giant mechanical robots and CGI after 16 years, still looks fantastic. Even better some of the modern movies we got nowadays *cough* MCU *cough* . This movie is such a classic to me and it's still my favourite Transformers movie of all time. Yes, I even like it more than Bumblebee and Rise Of The Beasts. Don't judge me.

Rise of the Beasts isn't that good, and Bumblebee is an entirely different film

No judgment whatsoever because I completely agree. This movie was quite flawed but it also had a true sense of wonder about it that the sequels didn't. Bumblebee did as well, but it didn't quite strike the same chord with me that this film did
This transformers movie was cool because it made you feel like the battle for the world was taking place over just a few days and it felt very urgent. This is shown in how the autobots are cornered into fighting in this big city even if they didn’t want too. The rest of the movies started to feel more like a drawn out plan over a series of years and less like a urgent matter which to me lost some of the magic

Dark side of the moon is pretty good as well, though. It also like feels like the first one. The battle for the world was also taking place in like a few days there, and felt urgent as well.

The Transformers are really good at maneuvering even the small parts of their vehicle. Maybe Optimus put a part of his seats in his palm for Sam.

Optimus told sam to put the cube in his chest because he foresaw what would eventually become of the bayformer saga. He wanted to end himself before he gets dragged into AOE and TLK.

@@haydentang3981 2nd movie pretty sure he got weaker because he was practically in a brand new body and probably wasn’t used to it, and in the 3rd he’s just heavily wounded and weakened and you can tell just by looking at him. It sucks but they can’t just keep making movies where Optimums gets whooped so they just gradually nerfed him
Not to mention, Optimus got an upgrade from Jetfire in the 2nd movie.

First is defiantly the best cause it shows them as an actual threat. The beginning has 1 decep wiping out an entire military base then a smaller 1 surviving 2 A-10 runs and a AC130 gunship. Shows the humans alone are no match for them. Then during the end the autobots all gang up on 1 decep at a time and still cant beat them. Now optimus shows up after wiping the floor with bonecrusher and proceed to get thrown around like a ragdoll by megatron which shows hes also outmatched alone. It took the combined efforts of both working together to defeat him
Yep, and then it got worse and worse, TLK turning decepts into utlimate cannon fodder, Megatron new guys get introduced and soon die like bitches.
It's spelled definitely and we know how it goes everyone has seen the movie by now
It's kind of thrilling how Megatron was this close for his prize. Every Decepticon, especially Starscream, played a role in either removing obstacles or buying some time for Megatron. Even Bonecrusher bought time fighting Optimus, so Prime would come later for the battle, after Bumblebee's already ruined legs and Jazz's death.
These are extremely realistic graphics, awesome Bay
I love how Optimus got his ass handed to him in the 1st movie but in every other movie he was a beast (except against Sentinel)

Dude megatron had so much aura in this movie. I’m sad that they didn’t make him the primary villain for another movie at least. I mean come on, I bet they could’ve had him doin some crazy stuff in TF5 if it wasn’t quintessa that was the main villain.
I mean, this movie perfectly showed how much of a threat the decepticons were. In dark of the moon, them taking over Chicago was also perfect, showing just how much power the decepticons had, but I just personally wanted megatron to be the big bad instead of Sentinel.

This movie made megatron feel like a real threat... After the first movie it feels like the Bay films were just there to sell toys and toys alone.. no passion no soul behind every action.

i feel like Starscream was very underutilized in the sequels when here you can clearly see how proficient of a fighter he is, being able to take down Ironhide and Ratchet within seconds.

Whoever they had doing the choreography for Starscream must've watched a lot of Macross.
Man there's something so desperate and authentic about this battle, I knew the goods were gonna win when I was a kid in 2007 but I really didn't know what characters were gonna live or die.
when i was a kid eager to wait for revenge of the fallen in theaters. i always theorized that starscream also tried to tried to kill megatron when all the f-22 jets are firing megatron. i was so bump out when they didn't explain it in the sequel.
